We did not actually have the opportunity to eat here. Upon entering the restaurant, we were seated. After 20 minutes of waiting for service, we got up and walked out. It was obvious that the place was understaffed. Two servers are not enough for the bar and dining room.

One Eleven is back!
The food and service you loved has returned, and Greensburg is better for it.

The wine list was a bit thin, but I suspect that will improve also.

We have gone many times and we are very appreciative to have this wonderful place in Greensburg area. We like that owner has gone away from "Jack" décor :-). The only reason I did not give five stars, is that they always try to make a big deal out of making buttered noodles when we bring are 7 year old daughter in and it is early about 4:30, never at main dinner time. They have always done it which we are appreciative of the special request, but we always have to hear "well I don't know... it is a change from our menu...". Even when we do not bring our kids in, they are mentioned like it was a big deal to make buttered noodles. My son orders of the menu, usually 3 courses. When we do bring the kids, our bill is around $200. We do not skimp. This last time it was very dark and we had to ask to light candle and had to ask for bread.

I will never know what the restaurant is like. I made a 1:15 reservation but the restaurant was closed when we got there. I tried to call but there was no answer. not even a sign on the door. Not a way to do business.

I was not able to submit a review without entering stars for the dining experience.

Dinner at One Eleven by chance just ahead of seeing Kris Kristoferson at the Palace was an extraordinary find. It's an attraction on its own.

My husband and I made a reservation for New Year's Eve. We had been to the restaurant a couple of times before when it was One Eleven and really liked it. We were told in advance that it would be a prix fixe menu for the holiday and given the approximate cost.

Our reservation was early (5:30) so the place was definitely not crowded when we arrived. We were greeted warmly and wished a Happy New Year. Every table was decorated with a black cloth, a gold paper top hat for the gentleman, a feathery "tiara" for the lady, and noisemakers. It was a very pretty and festive setting.

The menu had excellent choices: first courses of crab cake, lobster bisque, Caesar salad, several others I don't recall. I had the crab cake and my husband had a Ceasar salad - both were excellent and good-sized portions. There were also great choices for the main course: filet mignon (I ordered), red snapper (hubby ordered), rack of lamb, s chicken dish, among others. My filet was probably two inches thick and done to perfection, served with a mound of delicious mashed potatoes and haricots verte, also done perfectly. My husband's red snapper was a large portion served on risotto along with a veg (I think either rapini or broccolini). He said it was fantastic. There were several options for dessert; we both chose a burnt almond cake that was really good, and again, the portion size was generous. My drinks from the bar were also well made.

Their service was superb - the young lady (wish I could remember her name) was friendly and attentive.

I asked if the ownership was the same as One Eleven and the waitress said yes. They had wanted to try a different name and menu but I guess gravitated back to what they do best after a short time. This explains some earlier reviews where diners were disappointed that it wasn't really a gastropub.

We loved our experience and felt the restaurant tried to make New Year's Eve special. Will definitely return!

The menu in-restaurant did not match up with the website AT ALL! This is NOT a gastropub. I am not sure if the place is in the process of a makeover, but we were disappointed with the false advertising. We will not return until we find out that what's online matches with what's actually available in the restaurant.

2 couples decided to have dinner at 111 (FatJacks) before attending Jazz at Westmoreland Art Museum, Westmoreland Jazz Society. Arrived at 5:30 and our server was very attentive. Meals served: 2 had hamburgers (very large and tasty-great guacamole); wonderful fries); one had a caesar salad with salmon (large again and excellent); one had wild salmon, potato salad with pesto (excellent-cold); and romaine or arugula salad-tasty and homemade dressing. All meals were hot and delectable. Will eat here again. A little pricey, no bread served. But all in all , a good first experience. Not a gastropub really. Going back to the 111 menu our server said. The menu had plenty of options. Would have liked soup, understand it is offered on weekends, as it was a very cold evening.

We reserved a table for 5:45 on a Saturday evening before a show at the Palace Theater. We were the only ones in the restaurant for about 1/2 hour. The wait staff was very friendly, the food was delicious. But, I don't think this was really a gastro-pub, rather a restaurant in transition trying to find an audience. We shared two entrees (a burger and short ribs) and both were excellent.

Appetizers were fast and sufficient to share, but no bread/rolls with dinner. Dinner was one plate moderate sized portion and menu seemed limited. Appeared like a lot of money for the content of the one plate meal. The waitress was fine, but had no training about this "revised" restaurant or the area. The smoking Jack Nicholson image was a bit overdone on the walls, but if you are into that image then ok . It was a sufficient atmosphere but pricey meal. Location is great.

Interesting twists to many menu items and lots of flexibility with what you can order. My wife and I eat out all around the greater Pgh area and this place is a keeper, we will definately return.

We were spending the weekend in Latrobe and made a reservation for dinner with our two grandsons (14 & 17) and the oldest's steady date. Menu is fairly eclectic but everyone found something to their liking. Appetizers, Margarita Pizette and Calamari were delicious and shared by all. Entrees were also excellent. The portion size of the Chilean Sea Bass was a little disappointing though. The addition of scallops helped to compensate for that. Katie our server was very attentive. A good meal was had by all.

Alyx (sp?) waited on us, she was outstanding, great energy, very attentive and engaging. The food was outstanding, we all got something different, Veg dinner, Filet, Shrimp and Pasta, and the Strip steak special. All were prepared to our request.

Good beer selection (would have loved to see some draft beers)

Can't wait to go back

The service was awful. We have dined there for years and have always had a great experience.
The food was delicious as always but we waited for 15 minutes to even get a drink after we were seated . Our waitress barely checked on us . They wrapped my food to take home but never gave it back to me. Didn't offer dessert or another drink ? Bad service !

very pleasant experience. The chef really knows how to blend flavors and make a superior plate presentation. I hope the new place makes it work with the young crowd as it has a real neat environment.

The overall experience was just average. The food and the cocktails were good but expensive. The service staff was very slow but nice. While I was not unhappy, I think there are better choices in the Greensburg area.

Delicious,
Delicious...Delicious meal again....past visits....friends...we all adore the Buratta salad, Thai salad and tacos, Lemon parmesan crusted chicken, organic beet salad. Great place for diners who want something special....out of the ordinary. Owner Richard has daily features too...and Manga Monday's. This evening I had choppino a delicious broth scented with herbs and fennel and filled with moist succulent seafood and crostini. Team it with a Salad for a light and delicious meal. Wish he would be open for lunch the month of December!!!!

We started with the burrata and Thai Curry Muscles. The burrata was excellent and on the whole, the muscles were we'll prepared and the Thai curry sauce was outstanding. It was good enough to eat as a soup, and delicious to dunk in the grilled bread. The thai steak tacos were excellent with a very tender beef. The heat has a little uneven in the two tacos. One was mildly hot while the other was significantly hot, too much for the person who ordered it. The crab cake was moist and flavorful with a fair amount of lump crabmeat. The lobster melt had nice flavors, but the lobster was overcooked and chewy. Always a problem when ordering lobster rolls and other preparations. Overall the food was good and nicely flavorful. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired. It feels more like an old time department store luncheonette. The carpet is bare, and tables need something. The pressed tin ceiling is very nice, but it needs something to make it feel warmer or cooler.
