The food and atmosphere at Ashley's was really good. CLEARLY they have an exceptionally talented chef----loved the unique flavors. My husband and I eat out quite a bit and love good fine dining......and I know in America, our portions are out-of-control huge.....but we are small, fit people who felt like a meal should be a little bigger than 3 scallops and a tiny artichoke heart. The taste was fantastic, but we went to another restaurant right after we left there (because the portions were really small and we were still hungry). Also, I'm sure there are people who prefer that European hard, crusty bread---but I would prefer hot, soft bread, and more than one piece please.
