A vintage styled, exposed brick wine cellar room serves the patrons with refreshing cocktails and a boutique wine selection.

One Eleven at the Capital Ratings and Reviews
Delightful Sunday brunch with delicious food selections, plenty of time to relax and chat between courses, excellent service and nice special touches recognizing we were celebrating our son's engagement. Thank you for another fine dining experience at Ashley's.
This is a highly rated trip advisor restaurant Even the serving team told me that tidbit. Warning sign Will Smith
My expectations scouring the menu was that this is a outstanding foodier. It was good, just not great. Foie gras was tasteless which is incredible Ashley's is good food at a premium
Lunch was excellent. As only one of two diners table selection (window), noise level, and server attentiveness were superb! The seared scallops with gnocchi, artichokes and sundried tomatoes were delicious. A version of a caprese salad with cherry tomatoes was quite tasty. The setting is out of the past and somewhat formal but comfortable. Would gladly return.
The food and atmosphere at Ashley's was really good. CLEARLY they have an exceptionally talented chef----loved the unique flavors. My husband and I eat out quite a bit and love good fine dining......and I know in America, our portions are out-of-control huge.....but we are small, fit people who felt like a meal should be a little bigger than 3 scallops and a tiny artichoke heart. The taste was fantastic, but we went to another restaurant right after we left there (because the portions were really small and we were still hungry). Also, I'm sure there are people who prefer that European hard, crusty bread---but I would prefer hot, soft bread, and more than one piece please.
This restaurant was recommended by us. It was fantastic and more than I imagined.
We went there for dinner Saturday night. We were so impressed we made a reservation for brunch the following day.
The restaurant is located in a hotel over 125 years old... For us it was perfect.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Little Rock Arkansas. I can guarantee it's not the type of restaurant you would expect to find in a small city like Little Rock Arkansas.... More like something you would find in New Orleans San Francisco or New York... We were told later it was ranked the number one restaurant in Arkansas and that I can believe.. It was excellent and we are already planning our next trip to in the capital Hotel.
We were in town for a retirement party. Several people recommended that we eat breakfast here before we left town. I am so glad that we listened! If you like grits, you must get the cheesy grits with poached eggs. Yummy! Plus the staff was super nice and made you feel at home
I chose one for noise level because noise was not a problem. Ambience I chose four because it was cold at the first table where we were sat. It was by a window. There is no view by the window, so there is no reason to sit early guests by the window. We were moved to a semi booth which was more intimate and warmer. It made us much more comfortable. Our service and dinner was wonderful.
My wife and I had an early dinner at Ashley's before a show at Robinson. They knew we had a show to make and they made sure our service was prompt without being rushed. The food was very good and the presentation was excellent. We had a very good waiter, who was very helpful with the menu. We highly recommend
The food was excellent, but their service was what really made this memorable experience. We went for our anniversary, and they went out of their way to personalize the experience for us, from specially printed menus to giving my wife a rose at the end of the meal. Servers were attentive, knowledgable and polite. The shrimp and grits were amazing. The scallops were also good, but maybe a little underseasoned. The desert (ice cream, carmelized apple, and doughnuts) was mind blowingly good, though. I can't wait to eat there again.
Ashley's in the Capital Hotel is THE place for special occasion dining. Their latest chef is French with a wonderful background. Our three course dinner was perfect and my husband and I had different things so that was six perfect plates of food. The waiters are professional - always there when you need them, otherwise non-intrusive. They are about to undergo some renovation and change in menu but I think they are perfect just like they are. But I imagine they'll be perfect after the renovation too!
My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at Ashley's. This was the first time dining there for both of us. We had a fabulous time. The entire staff was professional, friendly and well informed. The food was delicious, visually appealing and plentiful.
We will definitely go back to Ashley's!!
It's the small things that make all the difference. I mentioned that we were celebrating an Anniversary. When we opened the menu, we found that an anniversary greeting with our names had been printed on top. Nice touch to add to wonderful service and a great meal.
Ashley's called ahead to see if we had any dietary preferences or if we were coming for a special occasion. While we weren't there for any real reason other than wanting a good dinner, we asked if natural beef, free range poultry, fresh seafood, and organic vegetables would be available. Amazingly, Ashley's had it all. The service was perfect. The food was wonderfully fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared and presented. Every mouthful was delightful. It was an expensive a la carte experience, but worth every penny. We have eaten at many restaurants in the Little Rock area and Ashley's, now under the guidance of Chef Antunes, is a must for anyone serious about food!
Our group of 8 enjoyed a special birthday dinner and the experience was everything we expected. The menu offered a broad selection, notable among the appetizers we enjoyed was the Oysters Rockefeller - flavorful but not too piquant. The seared scallops and sea bass selections were prepared to perfection, not overcooked in the slightest. The wine list offered a wide selection and the Pinot Gris that was paired with our fish and seafood complemented those selections fabulously. The desserts were very good, especially the Parisian chocolate cake and chocolate peanut butter Kit Kat. The port wine we selected was fine. The dining experience was greatly enhanced by the fine waitstaff - knowledgable, attentive, but not hovering.
We came here for Christmas day breakfast and enjoyed it as we always do when we visit Little Rock. This restaurant is in the historic Capital Hotel downtown with a beautifully restored lobby and restaurant space. The service is impeccable, but friendly and accessible. The breakfast menu is varied and everything we have had is delectable. You cannot help but feel pampered when you dine here. I highly recommend.
Our food was wonderful but the price has gone up for lunch beyond reasonable...and much more than previous years for the same selections. Our service was pitiful. The servers dropped dishes several times around us. They brought out my dessert before I had even had my soup. In previous years there was always a small appetizer on the table and nothing was there, not even bread or crackers. The serving time was very slow from beginning to end. I was very disappointed because this had been an annual Christmas lunch with friends.
I made reservations to treat my good friend to a birthday lunch. Everything was delightful and the service was very good. When we were seated, the menus at our table had a birthday greeting on them. We both chose the lunch special with fish, butternut squash soup, shrimp caviche and rice pudding. The portions were small, but with the variety, it was plenty overall. Every bite was delicious and each dish compimented the other. The soup was amazing and the rice pudding was a perfect end to a perfect meal. If I had a negative comment, it would be that the water for our tea wasn't hot enough to steep it.
There is no more wholly civilized dining experience than Ashley's, t in the Capital Hotel in downtown Little Rock. My wife and I love the Sunday brunch, a three-course prix fixe menu for $39 with at least a half-dozen choices in each category. The pace is relaxed, giving time to enjoy the food and the elegant atmosphere. Ballet Arkansas and the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra were presenting "The Nutcracker" at 2 p.m. that day, and there were many families with well-dressed, well-behaved young children in tow. It was a festive holiday meal we won't soon forget. In my reservation on Open Table I had mentioned we would be celebrating my wife's birthday, and our menus were specially printed with Happy Birthday greetings and balloons. Outstanding!
We went there for a special anniversary dinner and it certainly was special. The staff was attentive and wonderful, server was friendly and the food was outstanding. They made our anniversary a wonderful celebration and we highly recommend Ashley's if you are looking for a quiet upscale romantic restaurant!
We took our Mother to dinner at Ashley's to celebrate her 90th birthday. We had been there before so we knew it was elegant and the food was good. They made it special by printing personalized menus for our table and writing "Happy Birthday" in chocolate on her dessert plate. These small but unexpected touches helped make the evening more special.
A bit pricey, but well worth it. We opted for the Sunday prix fixe brunch and were favorably impressed: the food was nicely prepared, artfully presented, conveyed an orchestra of flavors and the service was superb. Closest thing to a complaint would be that the otherwise excellent Argentinian malbec was served chilled rather than at room temperature. We will, however, be back...the next time we visit family in Little Rock.
ate here for a business event a few years ago and was impressed
was finally able to take my wife this trip
even though there was a new chef, we were both impressed and thrilled with the selections, preparation, presentation, and service
suggested wine pairings were wonderful as well.
