We did not eat here so please have that as optional to rate as it's irrelevant. It was ok here, the cocktails were very poor and basic and certainly not worth £15, I felt ripped off. The service was ok but we were asked by 3 different people if we wanted to order drinks within 5 minutes, slightly too keen and they obviously were not communicating with each other. The staff did not have the best welcoming personalities, one of the door staff looked half stoned and wouldn't look you in the eye,granted that was tricky as he looked 7ft tall but he did not give a great first impression, the table staff lacked any banter or charm to even make you want to tip so we didn't. The live music was decent but not outstanding. The clientele was a mixed bag, we were there early and at 19:30 loads of young blonde girls were half cut and dancing away on the dancefloor, this made the place feel a bit cheap and tacky, we weren't in a night club I was taking my parents out so it was a tad cringe. All in all it was ok, the place looks very nice but when you then check the service, quality of drinks and price it starts to drop points. Also you get the table for 2 hours but the live music if only on 30 minutes then they take a 30 minute break so you only get 1 hours of your 2 hours with a live performance. I would suggest reducing the breaks to 15 minutes so you feel you get more entertained for your limited time.

Booked a table for a girls night out 7pm-9pm, the band were really good, the DJ between sets was also really good! Just a really good vibe, couldn’t fault it. Service was great too. Very aesthetically pleasing! Would definitely recommend and go back.

Excellent experience on our first visit to 186. Great vibe inside and a fab house band. Majority dressed to impress and staff extremely friendly and very quick service. This a top Manchester venue and totally recommend.

seven of us went for a 50th birthday party and we had a good time. The life means it was nice and the volume wasn’t so loud that we couldn’t speak to each other. The service was great and the drinks and cocktails were lovely. There was a slightly stilted vibe with the staff, and I asked the DJ if he would play an old R&B/rap tune and he just said no which I thought was a bit rude
