One 20 A Modern Bistro
Go to Bistro 120 whenever I get the chance. The food is great, but the service really sets them apart. Really the best kept twin cities secret.
Good service, small menu. My wife’s risotto dish was supposed to have butternut squash with it but they were out so we agreed to sub mushrooms instead. When our food arrived her dish was way too creamy.
Decent experience and worth trying if you live in Niceville. However we didn’t see the real value and were shocked that our dinner for two was 100 bucks. We probably won’t be coming back on our own initiative.
The food was delicious and the service outstanding! The establishment went out of their way to accommodate my husband who had some special food needs.
I haven't been here in several years and decided to take my sweet husband there for his birthday..he had never been. They didn't disappoint!! He said it was the best salmon he had since our last trip to Seattle. I had the red snapper...the fish was out of this world. I wasn't as enamored with the collard greens and lentils that came with it but the fish made up for it. The wine was great, nice selection of craft beer and our service was lovely.
Food was great, lovely little spot, the severs attendance drop at the end of the meal
I love this restaurant. Only recommendation would be to add some noise absorbing fabric. When the room is full, it can be a bit loud.
Nice neighborhood restaurant offering good food at a reasonable cost
Great food, great service and a local family owned restaurant. Great place to go anytime.
Long wait to be seated. Took a very long time to have order taken, and drinks never came. Seemed understaffed on Fathers’ Day. Food quality was very good though.
Even with the Father’s Day Brunch rush, the food was fantastic, and the service was grand!
120 a modern bistro is the best thing that ever happened to Niceville. And, considering how nice Niceville is, that’s saying a lot. Consistently, there is fresh food on the menu, great specials, and genius recipes. But, my favorite thing is that they accommodate finicky eaters. Out of necessity I have a lot of diet restrictions. They always happily accommodate my needs. I just hope after they get busier, I can still get a table.
This is a real gem. The food and service are consistently excellent.
120 is always good, the food is prepared as though I personally wanted it that way. I love Dan’s restaurant. There are days a special buffet is prepared.
My family and our guest enjoyed the casual, relaxed, and friendly atmosphere of the restaurant.
The lemon panko chicken entrée was excellent and a really good value. It's our favorite restaurant in Niceville, FL.
The food and the service is always great.
Fantastic as always! The steak just melted in your mouth.
Amazing food and attentive service!
As always the food was excellent as everything is prepared to order. Love the fries that are a starter. It was chilly in the seating area and the a/c came on several times--had to go to the car to get a sweater for the wife. Limited menu but something for everybody.
Only if at 5:30 they are not out of edamame and shrimp! Food was fair for the price. Pretty low ac, so bring a sweater
Absolutely the best hidden jewel in North West Florida... short drive from Ft. Walton Beach. Food was excellent, service was outstanding, and they were very accommodating for the kids.
We found this restaurant on Open Table & reserved for dinner before our flight out of Destin. It was a wonderful find! The Chef-owner designed a wonderful menu and the preparation was just about perfect. While we were early to arrive for dinner on a Friday night, we found the restaurant welcoming and the staff attentive. If we lived near this restaurant we would come here often. The locals in Niceville are fortunate to have such an impressive restaurant in their town!
We have been there often. The service is prompt and friendly, ambience is good and the food never disappoints.
Dan is a truly great chef! His fish dinners are always amazing.
ALWAYS awesome!!! Love how the menu changes..never a dull moment
I usually like the food, but the redfish we had on Sunday was “fishy” tasting, the couscous citrus was just okay, and I dunno what veggies were under the fish. They were so over cooked, we guessed squash or eggplant or who knows. It was just a gooey mess—tasteless. Once again, thank goodness for the fries and sauce you always serve!
One 20 is one of our all time favorites. Chef Dan and Jose make dining a wonderful experience whether it's a quick dinner or a special event. Love One 20!!
My warm spinach salad was not warm, so that was disappointing. It was also freezing cold in the restaurant, something I despise. There is nothing worse than trying to enjoy a meal while you are shivering. I really think this restaurant could do better and I was not impressed. Our service was fine, but overall I will not be coming back.
Extremely disappointed in this establishment. Made a reservation several weeks ago for the day after Thanksgiving. Showed up at our reservation time and the restaurant was closed. There was nothing on their website, nothing when you call not even a voicemail, and no note on the door indicating that they were closing. We ended up having to eat at a not so good chain restaurant and they ruined our special evening!
My favorite restaurant in the panhandle. Food us exceptional and service sets them apart from other restaurants in the area.
Absolutely fabulous food and staff! We will be back soon.
When my husband wanted a beer that wasn’t available, they went next door and opened the brewer to get it. Amazing service.
Excellent food and service, very cool serving fries instead of bread!! Will return!
Chef Dan was so attentive to everyone's needs. The food is always local if possible. Jose' was an outstanding waiter. I brought someone who is gluten free and there was no problem for them helping her.
Very fine restaurant for casual date and fine food. The service was excellent, and the owner came out to say hello and visit with other customers.
Always good food. Great local spot. Chef Dan does a great job with the special menu.
Food and service great. Special soup request honored and delicious.
The food was wonderful. Great value for the price. They have a great beer and wine selection. Substitutions for side items was no problem. I will be going back.
Definitely a locals favorite spot to dine. Chef Dan comes up with amazing culinary creations that pair flavors and textures for a meal that you'll remember long after you leave. It'll keep you coming back...
The servers are friendly and efficient which further enhances the dining experience.
Instead of a basket of bread, you are brought a bowl of the most perfectly cooked French fries. Seriously... perfectly done, perfectly salted. It's paired with a truly amazing dipping sauce, which is highly addictive. It's a very real dilemma one faces... stuff yourself on this heavenly starter, or save some room for dinner and dessert. But please try, because the entrees are all amazing. Also, the appetizers are definitely worth your time and tastebuds attention. Oh my!
When dessert time rolls around, the selection of tasty temptations has something for everyone. I favor the bread pudding, but the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies with a glass of cold milk brings back fond memories of childhood. But then the pie and cheesecake selections are nothing to sneeze at either.
This is a perfect place for a quick lunch, a lazy Sunday brunch, or a tasty dinner with family and/or friends.
Awesome, as usual! Service missed 5th star because I had to go ask waitress for our French fries to be brought out. She was surprised that hadn't been done yet...wondering just who was supposed to besides her. Anyway, she made up for that by bringing extra. Attention to detail...still a delicious experience!
Excellent restaurant with excellent food
