                                                                                            The food was so delicious as always! 5 stars The price is very reasonable!! 5 stars The remodel?! Cancels all stars! It would’ve been nice to be notified on the website that a remodel was in progress. These reservations were for a 97-year-old friend of mine and her friends. Expectations for a Sunday Brunch. By the time they were seated, breakfast had just ended. She asked for an exception, which was granted only after much sighing and then was treated as an inconvenience. Sadly, She won’t be back.

                                                                                            Food was very good; we enjoyed our pizza, salmon dishes, Brussels sprouts and wings. I was disappointed that the patio wasn’t open and there was no music (there was music the last time on thursday and the place was under construction).

                                                                                            I should have paid attention to reports of remodeling in February. Mid-April the main part of the lounge, where the view is. is still completely curtained off. They should warn diners BEFORE they are really disappointed and write bad reviews. We were seated ins a weird area between the lobby and the bar. The salmon was over cooked and dry. The banoffee dessert was tough and mostly whipped cream. There were five of us, we probably won't be going back any time soon.

                                                                                            Actual restaurant space was under renovation so open bar in lobby was brighter and louder than I was looking for. I ate at the bar which was under lit to be swanky not comfortable, I suppose. I had the white bean and kale soup which was good except for too salty for my taste. I also ordered the beef short rib dish (Bourgogne perhaps?) with the linguine and it did not smell good to me, so I didn't eat it at all which was a shame, because I needed the protein and just thought all in all, I should have chosen a different place to eat. Service was all good, but the food was not for me. Dissapointing because I prefer AC Marriotts normally. With plenty of other restaurants with river views and ambiance, I would not return here.

                                                                                            It would have been nice to have known that the restaurant was remodeling BEFORE we arrived. No view four our out of town guests was a huge disappointment. We ended up in a temporary location. Food as always is delicious and is attractively presented. Our server was a nice young man but had to cover the bar as well as our table.

                                                                                            I enjoy this place, 2nd time going. Food always good, service outside a little slow, waitress was in charge of the bar, inside & outside. Forgot a few request & had to ask twice. My cod was very fishy smelling but tasted fine? Maybe inside service would have been faster? I still enjoy the atmosphere & the food!

                                                                                            The service staff was very nice. However, we had to ask for water while watching other guests next to us receive water without asking. Our champagne was brought to the table and just sat on the table rather than using a bottle chiller to keep it cold. We had to ask for steak knives for our entrees. The polenta was luke warm and the chicken was so firm it needed effort to cut. The portioning for our dessert was off. Traditionally affogato is heavier with ice cream than espresso. When mixed, we ended up with espresso soup.
