The pasta was not amazing and the best bit was the starters. The meringue was overwhelmingly salty.

Just ok!! So we were looking forward to eating here for my friend’s birthday, we have tried to book numerous times before and not been able to, so we booked way in advance to secure a table. We had heard amazing things about Onda so we’re hoping for the best pasta we have ever had. The restaurant it’s self is ok, nothing special. We had a nice enough table but I just did not understand the huge bins of flour and industrial fridges in the middle of the restaurant, I don’t know if they were trying to make it look edgy, but it looked like they had ran out of room in the back and just left loads of crap in the middle of the restaurant. So the food. We all ordered a pasta dish and a mozzarella and garlic pizza bread to share. We wee told things would just come out when they were ready, which I feel is just poor management of a kitchen, time them so they come out tougher it’s not edgy and nobody likes pretending to be polite around the table while we wait for the last persons food to come out. So I orders the carbonara and had high hopes, but when it came I was deeply disappointed. The portion size was small and there wasn’t much in terms of presentation. The pasta it’s self was really disappointing, the sauce was very thick and gloopy, the meat was overcooked and the whole thing lacked seasoning. For £15 I would have expected more, considering it is a pasta restaurant. As disappointing as the pasta was, I must say the pizza bread was amazing, full of flavour and really well cooked, I would have happily had 2 of those. We then had dessert which was tiramisu, again it was fine but nothing special. Overall there is nothing inherently wrong with Onda, I have just had far better pasta at other restaurants for a similar price or less. It’s ok, but wouldn’t hurry to go back.

The food was great, some of the portions felt kinda small but I really enjoyed it, the staff was great! The ambiance was great too, it was really modern and upbeat! An enjoyable experience overall!

Best pasta I’ve had in a long time, maybe of all the time. Could tell it was freshly made and each mouthful was full of flavour and cooked amazing. Each server we had were pleasant and happy to be there also extremely helpful and polite. Tiramisu also didn’t disappoint. Sometimes when places have a good online following or catch attention for something it can be overhyped - but this was lovely and light. I’m a big fan of tiramisu and it was the best I’ve had also the pizza … I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was. Wouldn’t fault this place at all.

Absolutely flawless from start to finish. First time here and couldn't recommend it more highly. Came to Manchester from Swansea to see if the restaurant lived up to the online hype and it was well worth the ~5 hour journey as it totally exceeded my expectations. Incredible food (Nduja pasta/pizzetta, and of course the tiramisu), literally the best Italian offerings I've had the pleasure of trying in the UK. Service from the entire team was also amazing, with huge thanks to Saoirse for going above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience.

Wow! We can’t wait to return! From fantastic service, every person we met was so lovely, to a great vibe (brilliant music playing) to the best pasta & focaccia I’ve ever eaten (and I’ve had a lot). Could not recommend highly enough!!

Garlic bread was disappointing - lacked flavour and consistency can only be described as "wet", at least for the 40% of the garlic bread which wasn't crust. The pasta was nice but the garlic linguine was too strong. I am an avid user of garlic but this just burned the roof of my mouth and throat. Not a pleasant experience! The staff were all friendly and attentive and service was quick.

Heard such great things and it went above and beyond expectations. Service from Felicity was personal and welcoming, and the food was some of the best in the North West. Can’t wait to come back!
