Excellent food, fantastic service. Best meal on scilly so far.
Very impressed with how efficient and friendly the staff were, the food was delicious and reasonably priced, would thoroughly recommend.
The food and service was very good and we really enjoyed the visit .The staff were very positive, attentive and helpful .I would certainly welcome the chance to return but the restaurant is fully booked .We would like to return for a pudding as we could not fit one in .
Lunch time menu- so tapas type food
Fantastic location and the small plate lunch menu is amazing
Friendly and efficient staff. Very good service and we had a very enjoyable evening.
First time we had been here and we will certainly re-visit when we can. Can’t fault anything, food was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.
We were delighted with the whole experience, lovely food, skilfully cooked and presented with superb friendly service. We ate here once before when On The Quay first opened and were very disappointed. 150% improvement - we’ll be back!
This was the second time we ate at On the Quay in week and the whole experience was fantastic. Amazing food and excellent attentive staff. By far the best place to eat on the islands. Well done On the Quay
Great atmosphere, friendly attentive staff.
Well worth a visit !
Brilliant food. Langoustines and potted prawns for starters then the sharing whole fish for two - a delicious grey mullet with chips and salad. Perfectly cooked and accompanied by a very tasty organic white Rioja.
Shame no local beers despite still being a main item on the drinks menu and so they should have been crossed off. Requested chips only with the fish of the day but plate arrived smothered in veg. Great friendly staff and loved the overall setup.
Overall a good experience.
Food a little expensive for portion size.
Didn’t feel rushed and had the table for the whole night.
Megrim main course awful...completely tasteless...and vegetables iwth it stringy...spoilt the evening
This is the best place we have eaten during our week in the Scillies. An excellent meal. Good food served with flair! Thank you
Fantastic food cooked to a very high standard, great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Absolutely fantastic meal. They really have got this very right it’s absolutely lovely.
Great restaurant, lovely ambiance with extensive menu & great quality of food. Staff were so friendly & attentive. We’ll be back.

Excellent food combinations, lots of interesting things without being pretentious.
We had fabulous service and food, great value for money and a thoroughly enjoyable evening at the Quay.
Excellent service, good food in pleasant surroundings.
Great location on the quay at St Mary’s. Lovely terrace overlooking the harbour (though we didn’t use it as weather not goo enough). Great choice of food - we had lobster/prawn platter with extras thrown in - delicious. Would go again and recommend.
Excellent dinner, chef very accommodating to dietary requirements. Great service and buzzy feel. We ate here 3 times this week. All the food was great.
Fabulous! Especially the dessert cocktails! Staff great too.
Dined out each night of our 7 day break on St Mary's, On The Quay was our favourite!
Amazing food! Well worth the money. Very friendly staff! ☺️
Bistro style, very tasty, spacious and friendly, efficient service
Staff were great, lovely meal, good covid precautions
Fabulous food, atmosphere attentive staff overall a great experience
Amazing food and lovely setting with spectacular views. Staff were very accommodating to our two young children.
First time visit, we really enjoyed it, staff very attentive. Food portions, plentiful. Would recommend and would have booked again if we could have got in.
Very nice meal , good service , no complaints.
Lovely meal. Friendly staff. Maybe see if you can reserve half a lobster as ran out quite early
Well cooked simple food. Large portions. Fish dishes need larger napkins and a central plate for bones. Good wine. A very satisfactory meal overall.
We very much enjoyed our meal of lobster. Staff most pleasant and attentive. Will be returning next Monday, hopefully with a window table
First visit and enjoyed it immensely. Fish was perfect and wine (Picpoul) was excellent. Nice to have a Bath Ales beer too.
Excellent food - seafood risotto and lobster were delicious. Very good atmosphere. The kitchen is open to the restaurant so some tables have a good view of the busy kitchen. Very attentive and welcoming serving staff. A great night out.
Good food choices and the meals were really tasty and good quality. The restaurant is interestingly decorated with some lovely paintings and art and has a really good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We have dined here before and would recommend. We will be back.
Table by the kitchen was interesting. Might not be for everybody. Food was well cooked and presented. Perhaps add something simpler for those bringing teenage children. Not cheap but a level higher than I’ve seen on the islands until now.
