OMG Burger & Brew
The hamburger was excellent. It was cooked perfectly. The fries were outstanding! Comfortable seating. Quick and very attentive service.
It was fine. Nothing terrible, nothing great. The building is beautiful - but it was loud. Would I go back - maybe.... but not rushing back for anything spectacular.
Second time I have been. Over priced and burgers are thin. Both Tims food has come out cold.
Good Burger but the fries were soaked with grease and not good. Fried pickle was gross. Service was terrible, place was half full and it took us forever to get out of there.
Our server was fantastic. Appetizers were excellent. The burgers themselves are dry and flavorless. There were four different burgers at our table and not one person was completely satisfied with their choice. For a restaurant with the name OMG burger, a little more attention should be given to their burgers.
This is our third dining visit. We tried for lunch, went back with our son and his wife for dinner and recently invited two friends for dinner before going to Centenary Stage production. I love the crabcakes (no bun) and Jack over eats on wings. We are on too much medicine to drink much but I enjoyed a glass of rose'. Did not like our table, lots of server traffic, but our server was very nice and helpful. In all, we will return. Judy Killion, Long Valley
Good service and decent selection of beers. Specialty burgers are pricey and tasted good, although I think the make your own burgers may be a better selection.
Prices abit high. Limiting how many times I could afford to visit. Other than that everything was excellent
I don't ever write reviews but this place was pretty horrible service wise. We had a 4PM reservation on NYE the place was empty, but we still had to wait for our table to be "prepped" and when we got to our table they had forgotten the high chairs we requested (twice). (4 adults 2 kids in our party). The waitress was of zero use in locating/moving highchairs. The waitress looked like she hated the world, not smile or kindness at all. We ordered beers/wine and apps first. The beer and wine took 20 minutes to arrive and arrived before our appetizers! The waitress just completely disappeared and we had nothing to drink FOREVER. We had to ask for napkins... ask for Ketchup... everything... Then when we ordered she looked disgustedly at our 1 & 2 year old kids and said "um they're good right?" NO! I asked for a hamburger and fries and pizza from the kids menu for them. The kids menu CLEARLY stated kids menu items came with milk or juice. She never asked their drink order, and didn't offer. Meanwhile another table with children was seated next to us and their kids were brought crayons and coloring pages and drinks with tops/straws right away. I had to ask repeatedly for the drinks that were to accompany my daughter and her cousin's meals. The food order came out incorrectly as well and we were super nice and understanding and trying to trade items with each other first, and the waitress didn't even apologize, complete hassle. Go elsewhere.
Our burgers were cooked unevenly (well done one half rare in the other for two at our table, the carmelized onions were ice cold and while the burger was warm the plate it was served on was dangerously hot. There was almost not OMG
Sauce on the burger either. The mixed drink cocktails were either watered down on barely filled the glass and the table water had an awful taste, which was brought to the attention of the servers by multiple tables but they seemed to not care.
Didn’t have a great experience with their confusing menu and the food took forever.
Burgers are very good!! They seem to be still working out the service issues.
I really liked this place! Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and great food! My only complaints were that the burgers were a bit smaller then I expected for the price and they took a little while to come out even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. But I would definitely suggest this place to friends and I will be going back.
Great addition to Long Valley restaurants. This was our second time and thought that they are getting the gist of it. We loved the Impossible Burgers-still our fave. The platter and cawliflower wings are great apoetizers-huge portions with great prices. We recomnend the restaurant for family or group gatherings.
Food was very good and the menu offered good "burger" options for the vegetarians in the group. Price point a bit high when you swap out the fries for a side salad. Will go back.
Tasty burger, but too dry. I think the pretzel bun soaked up the juices. The burger was cooked perfect, the flavor was very good, OMG burger, fries we good, beer was excellent, water was weird,
Attractive space. Very bad negroni, burger overcooked
Things are a little chaotic because they just opened but the food and drinks are all spot on! Would definitely eat there again. Wishing this new restaurant the best of luck :)
We loved the food. Delicious burgers and salads. The inside of the restaurant is very beautiful!
Food, drinks and service was great! Wish they had a fireplace, it was a little chilly in there. The open space is beautiful though.
They had only been open a couple of days so I knew the wait and the service might be shaky. They still have some kinks to work out but over a period of time, I’m sure they will get things moving faster.
We made reservations but got there 45 mins early. We figured we could get drinks at the bar. They had a nice beer selection available. I ordered one while my boyfriend ordered a double captain and coke. If they are going to charge for something double, they should at least fill up the glass all the way.
We ordered our burgers only to find out that the fries are not included. So we ordered the $6 fries to share. They give a side of coleslaw that you can finish in two bites.
When we finally got our burgers, they were delicious and cooked the way we liked. But unfortunately the fries were not worth the price. I don’t think we even finished half of them, they were so disappointing.
The service was pretty decent especially since it’s only their first week. The staff was friendly enough. But our overall experience, because of the pricing of 2 burgers and an order of overpriced mediocre fries, I’m not sure if we will return.
Overall the meals were good, atmosphere was fun, it was a bit loud and we never heard any music even though we used the cool new app. A few kinks to work out, but we’ll be back!
No parking. No food. No service. Reservations didn't matter.
The waitress was great once someone finally came over to us. A lot of employees were just standing around and no one came over to us for a good 10-15 mins. We placed the order and they forgot the French fries. I was told it would be a couple mins and it actually took longer. After we got everything the food was great and Marie was great!!
Honest opinion: I wouldn’t go back with friends if I wanted to talk to them. Beautiful building, but the enormous ceilings make it so loud you can’t hear yourself think. There was music playing but you couldn’t even make it out because of the noise level in general. I think it would be better at that point to just turn the music off and not add to the echoing.
The service was very slow; we were seated almost an hour after our reservation however I would not count that against a restaurant that just opened. They were totally slammed and every restaurant needs time to work out the bugs.
Drinks at the bar were not any more overpriced than anywhere else nearby, however my husband ordered the Manhattan and got about 2/3 of a glass, so that was definitely overpriced. Fill them up!
We ordered the boneless buffalo wings which were not very good, but the burgers were delicious. I canceled my upcoming reservation with friends so that we can talk to each other, however I would go back to OMG Burger once the dust settles, perhaps on an off night, and sit at the bar and give it another shot. The burgers were worth a trip back.
We spent $100, had 2 drinks each at the bar, boneless buffalo wings and two burgers. Tip to the restaurant, you are charging quite a bit, throw in the fries! We heard a lot of complaints about that while at the bar.
