Ometeo is bringing an elevated version of classic, comforting, & nostalgic Tex Mex cuisine to Capital One Center in Tysons, VA. Brought to you by Long Shot Hospitality, the group behind DC's hit restaurants The Salt Line and Dauphine's. Inspired by the ingredients, techniques, and heritage from West Texas down to the Gulf Coast, Ometeo's foundation is firmly rooted in Tex Mex tradition all served up in a fun and dynamic environment. The restaurant consists of multiple carefully curated dining spaces and three different bars- Main Bar, Outdoor Bar, and Cadillac Lounge Bar. Reservations are available for four distinct areas : Main Dining, Outdoor Dining, Main Bar Booths, and Cadillac Lounge. We accept Open Table reservations for groups of up to 8 people. Reserve your lounge seating and enjoy Ometeo's signature cocktails and a delicious Cadillac Lounge menu of our signature appeteasers, tacos, and quesadillas. Starting at 9pm we turn it up a notch with "Ometeo After Dark" featuring a live DJ 9pm to midnight. (*Cadillac Lounge 21 and over only).

Food was very good, but it took two hours to get two appetizers, four entrees, four drinks, and one dessert to go for four people. The restaurant is beautiful, but also loud.

Did not appreciate the credit card hold on a party of 4 with a same-day reservation within 4 hours of booking and with a threat of a $25 charge per person for a no show. Hostess was friendly and sat us 15 minutes before our seating. We had to wait long periods of time for any type of service and it was all transactional. Only one person in our dining party enjoyed their meal.

there is no information about the parking situation which is not available in more than couple of blocks. When we were seated we waited and looked for server for more than 15 minutes. Finally I had to get up and go to the hostess desk and ask for a server. The manager showed up and said there was a mixup in the schedule but he never apologized. Their fajitas tasted good but it was not sizzling like most places. The staff did not seem to be happy working there.

The food is very good. It seemed under staffed in that our waiter wasn’t present very often. Our main dishes came out before our appetizers did, which isn’t ideal. The restaurant is very nice and staff does seem very pleasant.

Went for brunch around 2 pm on a Saturday and it was very relaxing and peaceful and not too crowded or noisy. The staff were very friendly and the unique and colorful southwest interior design of the restaurant is stunning. Make sure to check out the lounge upstairs as well as the bar outside. All beautiful spaces and the food and drink were equally good.
