Ometeo is bringing an elevated version of classic, comforting, & nostalgic Tex Mex cuisine to Capital One Center in Tysons, VA. Brought to you by Long Shot Hospitality, the group behind DC's hit restaurants The Salt Line and Dauphine's. Inspired by the ingredients, techniques, and heritage from West Texas down to the Gulf Coast, Ometeo's foundation is firmly rooted in Tex Mex tradition all served up in a fun and dynamic environment. The restaurant consists of multiple carefully curated dining spaces and three different bars- Main Bar, Outdoor Bar, and Cadillac Lounge Bar. Reservations are available for four distinct areas : Main Dining, Outdoor Dining, Main Bar Booths, and Cadillac Lounge. We accept Open Table reservations for groups of up to 8 people. Great convenience to Capital One Hall as a pre-show/Post show place. I plan to return possibly when not attending a show. A bit pricey for Tex-Mex, but worth a go!

We have been to Ometeo many times and this was the first time we walked away with a feeling. The food and drinks were good but the gluten free menu is frustrating because it shows a lot of gluten free options but they require modifications and that isn’t obvious. These modifications fundamentally change the meal, this is disappointing. Then when I questioned the waiter and asked for a moment the manager came over with an aura of handling a difficult customer. This was off putting and soured our whole experience.

Sorry this last visit didn't meet expectation. We take allergy and dietary restrictions very seriously and with our allergy menus and server and manager guidance we are always looking to make the dining experience as comfortable and stress free as possible in those situations. I'm sure that was manager intention here as well, but clearly it didn't come off that way so valuable coaching moment for the manager and our team. Any further specifics on the interaction as well as suggestions on how you feel we could improve our gluten free offerings would be appreciated. Thanks again for sharing your feedback

The food was excellent as always—never disappoints! We had the Guacamole and Vuelve a la Vida as appetizers, followed by the Torta de Chilaquiles, Steak and Huevos, and Huevos Divorciados. For dessert, we enjoyed the Flan and Tres Leches. Everything was absolutely delicious. The only downside was the service. Our waitress seemed distracted and wasn’t very attentive, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time (around 2:15 PM). We didn’t receive the chips and salsa we usually get, and it was the manager who noticed and took care of it after the appetizers had already been served. We understand everyone can have an off day, and we’ll definitely come back because the food truly speaks for itself.

While I like this restaurant, my server did not have the friendliest demeanor. We have 2 young kids, and I know it is not the easiest, but we take notice when our servers show compassion and tenderness. The food was fair, my fajita was a bit chewy, perhaps it was the cut.

Went there for brunch. The food was very good and the waitstaff was very attentive. I would like to visit during a happy hour or evening to see if the ambiance matches what I believe would be a great time.

The food was amazing and proportional to ensure you ate everything and didn’t feel “stuffed”. The happy hour drink menu is worth the trip all by itself. The customer service from the hostess to the server to the manager is top tier. Will definitely be back.
