I was really excited to try this place. Tasting menu was delicious and I found it to be a good value. However the service really soured our whole experience. We booked a 9:15 reservation and immediately felt rushed. The first thing the server told us was that last call was in 5 minutes and if we were ready to order. No explanation of the menu, not helpful when I asked for suggestions, and overall out server with the glasses and nose piercing was so rude. We submitted our whole order at once and was given a hard time when I wanted to order another drink. I understand the kitchen closing but never heard of a restaurant not being able to pour a glass of wine or a beer once the kitchen had closed? Our server told us she’d make an exception only because we were celebrating a birthday. On the birthday: we saw a couple desserts come out with a candle but they detail was missed on ours. Overall such a disappointing experience but the food was delicious so shoutout to the kitchen I guess. My advice would be to maybe not offer 9:15 reservations if it’s going be an inconvenience to provide us a good experience.

Fabulous tasting menu at Omai. Each and every dish was delicious and the service was friendly and personal. Uni toast was a highlight!

We loved the meal and experience of the tasting menu. Service was great. Music was too loud, it was difficult to talk, and to hear the server.

Simple menu, all dishes done to perfection. The house sake was excellent. A little pricy for the portion size but great quality ingredients. Friendly service and cool vibes. Would highly recommend!

A memorable experience at Omai! Enjoyed the preset menu - the uni toast and tataki especially stood out. Overall, each dish on this menu was delicious, presented beautifully, and we enjoyed the variety of flavors and textures. The service was excellent and we look forward to dining again soon!

This isn’t stated clearly on their website, but if you’re a party of 5+, you have to do the tasting menu. They were willing to accommodate us doing the a la carte option but we ended up going with the tasting menu anyways - all the food was delicious and fresh. We loved everything. Service was great - they were very accommodating and attentive!

Overall the tasting menu was very good and surprisingly diverse. It featured a nice mix of Japanese sashimi along with some non-traditional plates. The highlights include the Sea Urchin on toast, Seabream sashimi and Scallop risotto. And don't for the get the ice cream dessert, it was really good. Sake paring is a must.

The worst uni I have ever had!!!!!!! Not worth the money at all! Paying the money for Yuzuk, got something even worse than T&T
