The Omaha Steakhouse, in Altamonte Springs, strives to use over 90 years of experience to offer up some of the greatest steaks around. With an atmosphere that is comfortable and classy, Omaha Steakhouse delivers an authentic and delicious experience to the table.
Every steak at the Omaha steakhouse is aged naturally, coming from Midwestern corn-fed beef for a distinct and superior flavor. You can't go wrong with the filet mignon, top sirloin or New York strip steak. And if you're in the mood for something else, other entrées on the menu include roasted Maryland crab cakes, grilled wild salmon filet and much more.
This was a great find. The steaks were perfectly cooked. My husband had the bacon wrapped rib eye. I enjoyed a bluecheese crusted filetmignon. Our waitress was knowledgeable about the food and steered my husband to the onion soup. Try this restaurant located in the embassy suites
I have eaten here many times over the past 6 years, so I have the experience to comment. I've been there for lunch and dinner, indoors and outside, with a date and with a group. I have to confess I've never had anything but steak. But it is inherently the best steak I've had in Orlando. Christener's, et al, have great steaks, but part of the reason is they slather them with butter and salt. Omaha steaks, without all the enhancements, I believe are the best quality steaks. In fact, adding a lot of butter and salt would mask the taste of the steak. If I could go to only one steakhouse in Orlando, this would be it. The Yukon gild mashed potatoes are unequaled as well.
It is a small, low key hotel restaurant inside Embassy Suites in Altamonte Springs. If you want pomp and panache, go somewhere else. But the servers, I believe this last time mine was Sarah(and she was great), are experienced, friendly, casual, and unpretentious. The ambience is comfortable, lower lighting, and intimate if you want, depending on the table.
Try it out!
Very good service
The NY Strip and filet were superb. I ordered an off the menu salad which was graciously prepared and delicious. Bonny our server was efficient and very welcoming. We had a fabulous evening. Thank you!
I was quite disappointed. We had not been there in some time. It had always been good. This time it failed on many counts. We all had filets. The filet came on a huge plate with nothing else.Looked totally lost. I had ordered my steak with the blue cheese crusting. It came without and had to be sent back. They served mashed potatoes or baked potato on separate plates. The mashed potatoes were enough to feed 3 or 4 people, and the presentation was quite frankly lousy. The baked potato likewise was huge and presentation poor. We had ordered three medium well and one medium rare. They all came out medium well. The service was slow. The iced tea was bitter/stale...almost not fit to drink. The final disappointment was a creme brulee. It's one of my favorite deserts. To quote one in my party..."it was the worst creme brulee I've ever eaten". To sum it up, the tab was very large. This place needs to get its act together, There are other less expensive steak houses where I've had far better food and service.
Server was the best ever !!!
I was staggered to book something like this through Opentable! Is there no quality control?
We were expecting a restaurant, so to be next to a table with a large TV over it, on full, and a bar behind us with other TVs was not good at all.
Service was relatively slow, and vegetarian options were laughable.
It was expensive for what you had, so not good value.
Never again, and unless you want an expensive sports bar, give it a miss.
Food was good. A bit pricey but food was good
Usually go here for lunch since it's never crowded. Dinner time was the same. Crowd started arriving after we all finished eating. Food was good.
Wow where do I begin, made reservations for Valentine Day starting with the waitress it was absolutely horrible, we noticed other couples had planned their event as well. The bar in the restaurant was so noisy my wife and I could barely hear each other talk. After ordering we received no less than 6 apologies from our waitress about the delay of the food. We counted three other couples experiencing the exact same excuses. I wouldn't go back to this restaurant for any occasion. Disgrace to the Omaha Steak name.
The food was absolutely amazing. Definitely worth every penny. We went on Valentine's Day and while it was a little hectic it was worth it as soon as the food hit our mouths.
Food was bland, mediocre and overpriced. We felt like we were at a restaurant in a dated old casino.
We were notified the morning of our reservation that the Omaha Steakhouse was closed and that the hotel would move our party to the Mothers day Brunch buffet. Did not have much of a choice. Food was fair.
We were in town attending a conference and decided to meet my brother and his wife at the Omaha Steakhouse for dinner. My brother has lived in Orlando for 30 years and he suggested we go to the "best steakhouse in Orlando" for dinner. Really didn't need a reservation on a Thursday evening at 6 PM. There were plenty of tables available and we were seated immediately. Our server was courteous and efficient and made good suggestions when we asked what she would recommend. Our food was delivered to our table within 15 minutes and all the dishes were steaming hot. The food was very tasty and the steaks were tender and cooked to our requests. We had a very enjoyable dinner and would return to the Omaha Steak House the next time in Orlando.
Normally this is a great place to dine. The food is delicious and well priced. This time whoever two of four orders were wrong and one of those dining did not get their redone entre until the other three had finished eating. No consideration was offered from management for this. As I had a guest from another country with us it made it especially disappointing.
