   the oysters, ceviche, and and special tuna appetizer were all really good...... the wine also was perfect..... oysters compared favorably with ones we've had straight out of the sea on whisky island

   First time there for our friends and they love it as much as we do. A fresh menu from our last visit, without our favorite shredded phyllo covered baked oyster but other good options. Always a great selection of fresh oyster varieties, wine selections and cocktails.

   The food was not bad, but the place was highly pretentious for such a mediocre establishment. The prices were absurdly inflated -- the bottle of wine highly recommended by the staff was priced to $45 and retails for $19.99. Oysters were $3 apiece. The pretense to greatness was exaggerated and laughable.

   Top notch experience! Of course the oysters were fresh but the accoutrements were also fantastic- especially the marinated olives, smoked goat butter and artisan bread. We will definitely be back!!

   Went for Portland Dining Month. Food was great - the oysters were delicious. The communal rockfish cerviche was unexpected (3 of us got one big bowl to share) but in the end it turned out to drive discussion and enjoy our food at a different level. We decided people all around the world use community plates and family style. It was great.

    Hella fresh oysters, great wine list, and friendly service. The clams in broth were delicious, and the bread and goat butter was a fine accompaniment.
