The menu at Olón features Chef Garces’ family recipes, with a modern twist, as well as unique takes on time-honored favorites. Traditional features include steamed clams, crab cakes, jumbo fried shrimp, and surf & turf. More contemporary options include wood-fired Wagyu skirt steak, roasted chicken, jumbo gulf prawns, whole grilled seasonal fish and two pound lobsters.
Bar Olón serves as the foundation of Olón’s extensive beverage programming, including: a custom, double-sided tap with 16 draft beer selections; 35 beers by-the-bottle; 20 wines by-the-glass; 75+ wines by the bottle and 6 hand-crafted specialty cocktails. A light food menu will also be available featuring ceviche, sandwiches and shareable small plates.

We have been to Olon for dinner, first time for brunch. It was an amazing value and the food was delicious.
We had octopus that was fork tender, calamari that had a very light batter. The bread and spread were great. Bronzino and scallops were very nicely done. Great job! We are people who ran restaraunts for 40 years.
Amazing food. This was our first time in Atlantic City and the Olan restaurant at the Tropicana Resort was great. We came to celebrate my hubby's birthday after the seeing the Alice Cooper show and the food and experience was amazing. The surprise birthday cake was just amazing. Our waitress was super attentive and friendly.
Went with girlfriends..great margaritas, great food..worth checking it out.

Came here many times and never had an issue, this time all of our shrimps were not cleaned and the manager told me that is how they are served, such laziness in the kitchen , my scallops tasted rubbery and fishy
The Wagyu beef empanadas were excellent, and the Scallops with sauteed spinach and fingerling potatoes were out of this world. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and the view from the private booths is unparalleled. Our server, Marisol, was delightful. Extremely attentive and accommodating to our every request, she made sure that our experience would be one to remember. We surely miss dining at Wellington's, but can't think of any better replacement.

Well worth the price. Try the Chia pudding! Minimum selection at raw bar but still better than average in AC.
Wanted to try something different to celebrate my mothers birthday. Ok selection of food other than seafood. Way overpriced for what you get portion wise, compared to other restaurants. Service was terrible, waited close to 12 minutes before our server came over to take our drink order- mind you there were only about 4/5 tables of customers at the time. Our waiter was very nice, polite and quickly answered questions about the different food items on the menu. Had I known what we were going to get service/food wise for being an upscale restaurant, I would have chosen a different option for dinner. For the amount of the $215 bill before tip, for four of us to eat, I really was hoping for all of us to be full and not have to go to hooters afterwards to fill up our bellies. There is a first for everything, but this will definitely be the first and last for eating at this restaurant.

Great meal yet again. Crispy chicken was a new try and really enjoyed it. Shrimp were wonderful and grilled cauliflower was excellent
This was an anniversary celebration and no place better than Olon to have it. The ambiance, the service and the food is wonderful. We have been here many times and always ask for Liz to be our waitress. She welcomes us as friends into her home and makes sure we have a happy and satisfying time. The beef was not up to par this night and she did everything she could to make it better. Everything else was perfect as always. Food aside, we had a great anniversary because of Liz and the conversation with her. Looking forward to returning many more times.
I’ve been to this restaurant a number of times now. Service seemed lacking this time around. Menu items were still on point. The ambience is what you’ll go there for.
Lovely decor and airy feeling. It was a Wednesday night at 9pm so the restaurant was not crowded our noisy. Staff were extremely friendly and explained each dish as they were brought out. We went with the Chef’s $85 tasting. Not disappointed. Got to sample many delicious dishes which included desserts. The flan and parfait were a nice light finish to a great meal. Thank you to our server Katy. We are not from the area but will certainly be back soon.
Flavor did not live up to the "hype." Way over priced for average quality.

We had the chef’s choice tasting menu. Excellent. Great way to try their various dishes. Price is very reasonable considering the amount of food and quality. This has become a regular stop when we come to AC.
other than the Wagyu beef empanadas the food was very underwhelming. This was the first night me and my wife have had out together in a very long time due to having an 18 month old at home. For the price I’d rather go to a Steven Starr restaurant and know I Will be getting a good meal
Great restaurant. This was our second visit to Olon this month. Waitress was somewhat distracted, so not as wonderful as the first time. We ordered drinks when we sat down. We didn't see them until I asked again, which was after the first course had been served. Server was anxious to clear our plates from the table before we were finished. My husband ordered a refill on his Sangria, which never showed up. Place not that busy, so we couldn't figure why we had service problems. Very eclectic menu, which we love. Food was fabulous, as usual.

Lovely dinner. Delicious food. The steak skewers and guacamole with lump crabmeat delicious. The coconut parfait was the perfect ending to the meal. Would definitely return for dinner.
We had the filet and it was cooked perfectly. Our waiter was excellent Enjoyed the view and our time in restaurant.
Our waitress Marisol was fabulous! The service at Olons is exceptional. However my husband ordered the Pork Flank Steak which was very difficult to chew. Our waitress was quick to replace it with the stuffed Flounder which was delicious.
Beautiful, light and airy seaside interior makes Olon very comfortable and inviting. Service was pleasant and our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and specials. The beef and cheese empanadas were flavorful and a great way to start the meal. Wagya Skirt Steak had a great seasoning and was perfectly tender. Sides of creamed spinach, asparagus (served Cold/room temp) and the rice and beans were all tasty and fresh. Would definitely go back to this Jose Garces restaurant.
Olongapo was very good! Steak was cooked perfectly and the staff was very nice.
Great service and food
Service slow but freindly. Food was unimpressive at best. Tapas/raw bar brunch buffet was a joke - tiny, limp thawed frozen shrimp, puny oysters and tiny clams on the half shell. Little cups of civiche were the only standout with a nice sparkling lime flavor. Chicken and waffles were poorly prepared -dry chicken served over burnt waffles. Crab Benedict was OK but not great. Nice atmosphere and gorgeous view. Come for drinks to soak up the atmosphere - skip the food.

Excellent choice in fresh Oysters. Nice too choose from light fare (tapas style) or more if you like. Nice drinks and wine & beer menu. Service was great. Atmosphere nice with views of ocean. Outside seating looked nice but it was too hot that day.
Need to give sides with enteees. Prices are a little high. Lower them. If people come early for dinner and have a reservation they should be allowed to sit anywhere. Not be told tables are reservef.
This was our second time at Olon and we loved it even more! The first time was last year and we had brunch. Wow. This time we had dinner. Amazing. Everything was delicious. Service was great. View perfect. It is definitely a new favorite.

The atmosphere and view are great. You have the option between doing a tapas meal or traditional courses, all of which are great. The chicken skewers and fish fry were both phenomenal. Will be back.
Olon was a wonderful surprise and introduction to Equadorian cuisine. We took advantage of the Twilight Tasting menu available between 4-6 and could not have been more pleased. We were able to sample yucca chips, homemade guacamole and a delightful heart of palm salad with dates and almonds! That was for starters! Entrees were flavorful and service was delivered with a smile. Dessert was amazing too. Very different and refreshing. We can’t wait to go back!
Our server Cindy was very nice and quite helpful with our questions and requests. The wait staff was exceptional. This all made for an evening of good food and a gorgeous view. The dessert was to die for!! Coconut pudding, mango and pistachio sponge cake. Yum!!
Amazing food - appetizer and dinner. Desert, however was forgotten by the server and was brought out cold. :( Nice atmosphere - ocean view and overhead music (good sound level).
