Nestled in the heart of Victoria, B.C.’s bustling Chinatown neighbourhood, OLO pays homage to the region’s trade hub roots.
The name ‘Olo’ means ‘hungry’ in Chinook Jargon, a derivative language of English, French, Chinese and Chinook. The Pacific Northwest was once a gathering place for traders from all over the world... French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, First Nations and more; at OLO these influences are integrated into a cuisine that showcases the Cascadian region.
We are lucky to have access to the forest, farms, and ocean here on the West Coast. We are a restaurant that believes in sustainable farming practices, seasonality, and knowing the stories of the growers. Join us to create a unique story of your own!
