OLO Restaurant

Food and service was absolutely stellar. Everything was done to perfection. Plates were inventive and looked stunning. The deserts had a perfect balance of flavours. Wine suggestion was spot on. Dinner was absolutely worth the price. Table beside us did the tasting menu and it also looked amazing. Top marks, 5 stars, would definitely recommend to anyone and will be returning.

Fantastic food! The duck breast was excellent, and the tuna appetizer was a work of art.

I had the steak - so good and my god. GET THE CHOCOLATE CAKE. One per person, I shared one with my date and we really should’ve gotten two.

One of the most amazing burgers I have ever had! The semolina cubes to start and sneaking bites of my wife’s gnocchi....just made it all the more perfect!

I loved everything. It was so tasty. I could only afford to eat there every couple of years though.

Olo is phenomenal. The food is meticulously thought out and prepared. The service is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. The beverages are worth savouring. Olo is never a poor choice for dinner regardless of the occasion.

We received a GC for your restaurant. As we are an older couple (and simple) we found the menu difficult to sort through as the selections were somewhat unfamiliar. The waitress was great and helped us try to work through it.

I have to say the familiar items were wonderful (house made sourdough bread (!!!!) & grass fed butter were awesome as was the wine and dessert). My partner had the iron steak which he enjoyed. I was disappointed there was not a chicken selection on the menu that day.

All in all the prep and presentation were wonderful and we loved that food items were locally sourced.

Outstanding

First time at OLO, excellent food. The duck and the pork were very nice, and the rutabaga (which I normally just tolerate) was amazing. Noisy place, but it's small and busy - to be expected. Kudos to the kitchen staff and wait staff, they're very good at their work.

The only item in my meal that gave food for thought...was my icecream in the dessert....it melted to fast..I believe it should have stayed more firm to accompany the other ingredients. Otherwise this second visit from a Tourist in your town was Wonderfully Delightful!

We went for the Valentines tasting menu and all of the food as well as the atmosphere was really good. I was a bit disappointed with the service, as we had to wait a while for our server to greet us when we were first seated, and clear our plates between courses. The couple beside us actually finished their last dinner plate after we did but received dessert courses and their bill well before us. Overall it was good food but I’m not sure the service was worth the tasting menu price.

This was a dinner to celebrate my 75th birthday. We were served by Matt, the general manager. Very gracious and attentive service, good knowledge and advice about the wines available on the menu.
The food was delicious, with a focus on local ingredients - for example white truffles newly brought in from Langley to accompany the gnocchi. Noise level was perfect - nice buzz but easy to carry on a conversation.

The Victoria dining scene has a gem in Olo. The team at Olo has built a superb menu from cocktails, to wine and rounded out with food creations sure to please your palate. Don’t walk past this spot. Open the door and walk right in, take a seat. Stay a while. You won’t regret it.

Blown away by the artistry of the courses! By far the most beautiful dishes I have ever eaten. Not to mention absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the mussels! Will be back again, hopefully as soon as possible!

I hesitated to dine at this restaurant during dine around Victoria as I assumed the food and service would not be up to the high standards I would expect. I was wrong the food and service was delightful.

Our second visit to this restaurant, and doesn’t disappoint. Superb food quality, creatively orchestrated and perfectly cooked. Our favourite aspect is the wine pairings that offer unique and regional wines, complementary to the craftsmanship of the food.
