Great drinks recommendations & friendly staff & delicious food!
OLLA continues to deliver. This was our 5th time and all the elements of service, atmosphere and great food play together. Loved it once again!
Great food and location
Good Mexican food for everyday or special occasions. Good bar. Central location and good ambiance for a relaxing evening.
Went in the evening with friends looking for "upscale" Mexican dining. The weather was nice and we would have sat outside but for the noise level from the street, but they had their roll-up doors open and the air conditioning on so it was chilly inside. Menu choices are a bit limited for a Mexican restaurant. Guacamole & chips were OK, but the octopus & calamari appetizer, which was recommended, was very strange, odd seasoning, served with spicy chips that tasted like Doritos, not the same as those used with the guacamole. The seafood in the dish was like mush, like it had been cooked and refrozen many times. The entrees were meh, none of our party of four were impressed. We ordered what we thought was a bottle of wine for $50, but it was actually a 1-liter carafe of "barrel wine" as they called. I asked to see a bottle or label, no can do. Waitress was nice enough but we won't be going back.
Service is alway blah. Waiters have no personality
Fabulous! Every dish was perfect and really tasted fresh! Highly recommend, will be back. Only downside is that it's loud inside, but with the food quality, you can overlook that.
Very well thought out menu. Great blend of tastes. Great selections of fresh choices along with smaller portions. Liquor menu was well stocked, even though they didn’t have what we asked for, they had something comparable.
I loved the decor and vibe, but was completely underwhelmed by the food.
Great service and as always, yummy food! We sat right w/the open garage door, inside but the street dining right outside. That area was a bit loud to hear everyone at the table however always a nice dining experience.
Sopas and ceasar salad were great!!!
The duck carnitas tacos were excellent (I much preferred them to the pork carnitas entree I tried last time). I worried that the chicken tamal would be too much food with it, but it was just right. The accompanying mole sauce was a wonderful bonus, which I drizzled over everything! Marina was a delightful server, very friendly and helpful! I've eaten here a few times now, and would say that for the best experience, ignore your usual menu choices and try something unusual here! Most likely, you'll be happily surprised. (Now, if I could just track down a recipe for the amazing lamb-stuffed chile relleno I ate here long ago...)
Delicious food, good quantities, nice selection. Too noisy for table larger than 4 to converse.
My wife and I went there for dinner and we had a very nice experience. Our waitress (I believe it was Corina) was attentive to our needs and placed our food order at the exact right time. The food was delicious and priced moderately.
Slow service, ok to moderately priced, uninspiring menu, too large portions, ok quality, use of too many sauces in dishes. Wouldn't go back. Pozole was good.
It was REALLY loud, and even with our reservation we were placed in what was probably the worst table there. Waited 15 minutes before we were even offered water ... I will not go back.
Great food priced reasonably and excellent service. Will definitely return again.
Ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks which came promptly, but our entrees arrived before one of the appetizers. Drinks were dry for along time before we finally flagged the server down for second round of drinks and to ensure we didn’t get charged for the missing appetizer. Bill was in order, food was good not great and service was not there. Nice enough, just made himself scarce.
Everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was good. Chips and various salsas and Guacamole were served that were very tasty. Two of us have the chicken tostada which was delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the duck tacos. We also shared a very generous portion of shishito peppers. If we are in the area again we would definitely go back.
Good food, margaritas and horchata! We went there on a busy Tuesday evening. When we were seated the hostess mentioned they were short staffed that night. Regardless, our waitress (I can’t remember her name) always had a big smile and was very efficient and engaging. It’s a fun place for a good time.
They accommodated our large group. Service was excellent and was Food was great.
My draft beer did not arrive until end of meal for all 7 guests at my table. I was tempted to ask for a funnel to quickly consume it as the check was coming. Had to ask 5th time for the status of the beer.
I asked for salmon cook medium or moist and it came out like other salmon dishes folks ordered. None of the servers referenced my temp request.
Was second time lunch here but probably won't come back again.
Definitely going back and loved love their signature cocktails, live music, food and ambiance. Had a fun Saturday night 😍
Besides the great service, wonderful food, the margaritas are stellar! I recommend this place to all my family and friends!
Great food and terrific service. Only complaint was the music was too loud at our table. Otherwise wonderful.
returned for the chicken enchiladas and the margarita on the rocks and they were just as excellent as my first visit
The food was very good but small portions for the price. It was very loud and hard to have a conversation. With that said we did enjoy ourselves and would try again when we can afford it.
The food was really delicious, amazing choices. The watermelon margarita with delicious, their version of the mai tai and the MojitoMojito were both excellent. Our server was OK, never around when you try to find him. He might have been new, as he didn’t know a lot of answers to our questions, but did get the answers for us.
This is a restaurant that we really liked when it opened but it seems the menu hasn’t changed much and the same items on the menu I have ordered in the past don’t seem as good. Still above average, but not where I think I will go for occasions.
I love the atmosphere (its very open), and the food was awesome! Chorizo mac and cheese was everything!!
I have just a small complaint... dishes or bowls that have been chipped should not be used. We had 3 items that were chipped. But the food was delicious!
Great location before a concert or Sharks game. Food was ok...not a lot of flavor in the chicken tostada.
Great food, quick service, even on Cinco de Mayo.
The food and service is excellent.
We chose this place due to its close proximity to SAP Center. Very glad we did. Our server was great and we followed his recommendations and we not disappointed! We all left saying we’d come again!
They were super busy as it was a concert night, but our waitress was hustling and attentive. Great experience. Great cocktails. The Paloma was lights out! Will be back.
Staff is very accommodating and very nice. In the past have had to change reservation time and did so without any issues. Servers always very attentive. Good tequila selection and love the brussel sprouts.
I really love how they did the decor, and the attention to detail.
Meal portions are large, and they have a unique variety of menu options.
The only area of improvement is the service. Our server was stretched too thin, and we had empty water glasses and pulled up plates.
Good food and service, the Posole is a must have. Great drinks. A little noisy but we will go back again
Felt like a warehouse. Large, spacious and empty when we went. Service was decent. Food was average. Maybe food for a quick fix but not for fine dining.
