Oli.Vine - The Mediterranean Project
Great chef! Food was delicious. Highly recommend.
The food was great. Super service by Justin. We had a great lunch today. For sure the best restaurant of Ditmars bvd. Fishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked.
Great food and attentive service. Highly recommend.
Loved the open kitchen, and head chef was interactive with our table. Very nice chef, high quality food.
Wow- was really impressed with the prix fixe and the food quality. High end classy Mediterranean.
Amazing experience. Perfect for a date night/birthday celebration! Food is super fresh and staff is so friendly. Will definitely be back!!
Chef Nicholas Poulmentis has done wonders at this restaurant. I ate here last night and was so amazed at the appetizers, food, and dessert. Also the staff was so kind and friendly (especially our waiter Justin). I highly recommend that you eat here, you will not regret it! Enjoy !
It was four of us, one who is a second generation Greek and kept saying she was intrigued by the menu items and loved what we ordered.
Really delicious Greek food with an inventive twist- we loved everything we tried! We went for our anniversary- great atmosphere and extremely nice chef!
Incredible food and chef
We went on a Sunday at about 5:30pm. It was too warm when we walked in but they sat us in a nice cool area. We must have just missed the Brunch crowd because we had the place to ourselves for a little while. The food was delicious. The portion size was average. If you are looking for a unique, lite meal that will please your taste buds this is the place to go. We were a party of four and ordered a lot of different dishes to try.
Inventive, and wonderful mix of flavors. Unique. Delicious!
I love this place, third time for me and first time for my family. Food and service was amazing!
Stylish space with dedicated servers and cook staff. All were very accommodating, It would be even a better experience for me if they had a full bar. The seafood moussaka and scallop dishes were both very well done.
We love this restaurant. Great service and great atmosphere.
I've been wanting to try Oli.Vine since it opened in the winter and I'm so glad I finally did. The place is so pretty and the service is friendly. I had the Scallops and my Mom had the Rib Eye. Both were delicious!! My Mom is a picky eater so once she said it was the best steak she's ever had - I knew it was a hit! Thank you for the great food and service. Will definitely be back soon!
Followed chef here from Akrotiri and sorry to say the 4 of us were disappointed. Wine by the glass, crusty bread and appetizers were the best part of the meal, especially the dips and the sushi roll with grape leaves. They were out of rose wine and most of the whole fish by 7 pm which means to me they never ordered it. Our whole bronzino was very small with very little meat to me and pricey for what it was. We asked for additional pita to go with the dips and they charged us for it. Going back to Akrotiri....
Thank you for making our birthday celebration a good one with good service & good food!
We had heard good things but were very disappointed. There were literally two other people in the restaurant when we sat down. It still took half an hour for tzatziki to arrive -- which requires no prep time - and another half hour after that was cleared for the meatball appetizer to arrive. We were pretty starving by the time our entree arrived, a good hour after we sat down. Three of us had the tuna, a very skimpy portion but not bad. The food was ok but not so good I'd recommend anyone to go there, with so many other Greek restaurants that are way better. Server was not attentive except for pouring water.
The restaurant is very open, bright, and charming! Everything ordered was beautiful aesthetically as well as delicious. Some recommendations: Black Tarama, and the Seafood pasta--amazing!
It was the first time that my wife and I visited this beautiful restaurant. The decor is really cool and the service as well. The food was exceptional! Chef Nikos is a one of a kind Michelin Chef, and he made our experience very special for our anniversary. Highly recommend you to check out this gem.
A truly unique and special dinning experience in Astoria, Queens. It is one of the newer restaurants on Ditmars and is well worth a try. The decor offers just the right amount of sophistication that allows you to bask in the beauty of the ambiance while still feeling comfortable and relaxed. The service is superb and the staff makes you feel like part of the family. I love the wine selection. The menu is an eclectic mix of contemporary Mediterranean fare that will not disappoint. I've tried most of the dishes on their menu. Some of my personal favorites include: Tomato Keftedes, Meiterranean Pasta, Half Organic Chicken, The Horseradish Crusted Cod and Organic Salmon. Everything is delicious. This is a great choice if you want to try something a little different. I promise it will be a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Food was delicious and service was exceptional, our new Greek Food hot spot.
Wonderful and consistent. Chef Nicholas is gastronomic genius.
Overall mediocre experience. Had to wait 45 minutes for a table after our reservation time, and then the service was very slow and not responsive. I would have hoped for a quick appetizer or even the bread, but everything took long. The food was decent and interesting eclectic mix for a Greek place in Astoria. The back patio is not finished yet but will likely be a nice place for an outdoor drink. Place is small, so not great for large groups.
Service took forever since they were down one chef. However, the food was amazing and the restaurant made up for it by giving us free fries and two free desserts!
Fantastic new addition to the neighborhood. Not your average Greek place. Had the snapper for 2, Greek salad, all was fresh and flavorful. Will definitely be back.
Fantastic restaurant, attention to details and great flavors in the dishes.
Owned an operated by a chef formerly on Chopped. Awesome food and wine list. Food is always spot on and if you are fortunate enough to be seated in the back area of the restaurant you can watch the chef in action in the open kitchen. I loved the fact that the first time I was at the restaurant they did not offer Greek coffee, which I found to be odd. However, returning this time I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had added Greek coffee to their menu. I will be returning to this restaurant whenever I am back in town.
We arrived at 6:30 and clearly just beat the dinner rush. We were out on a double date and enjoyed a round of appetizers and wine for the table. Everything was delicious but the shrimp loukoumades were really surprising. Crispy yet light, slightly spicy... just perfect. Every entree was excellent but mine came out quite a bit later than the others. The chef sent out an additional glass of wine and some grilled veggies as a gesture of goodwill for the delay. My entree—the scallop dish—was fantastic and by the time we left, the place was packed with people. We’ll definitely go back.
Excellent food and service
Second time dining at Oli.Vine was as wonderful as the first. The restaurant is beautiful and provides an inviting ambience to enjoy the delicious food. Service is great, with attentive managers and waiters who check in, answer questions, and provide recommendations. We tend to enjoy making a meal out of a selection of the fantastic appetizers -- with standouts including the dips, meatballs, and octopus (so tender and flavorful!) Wine selection is great and the desserts are excellent. Can't get enough of the apple & fig tart -- and was only disappointed I didn't have room for another taste of the tiramisu!
Great food and service and wine selection. We had the octopus for appetizer and grilled bronzino for main course, perfect.
The food was amazing , the service was very prompt and it was great .value of money worth it . Will definitely go back
The Apple fig Tart was the best ever
Food was really tasty and the dining experience was lovely with the chef and kitchen in full view while the food is being prepared. Amongst the best Spinakopita I have ever had in Astoria and their pancetta pasta with egg and pepper is the best pasta dish I have had in years. Highly recommended.
Oli.Vine was fantastic. The food was delicious and the staff and managers were attentive and kind. I’d definitely recommend the seafood linguine pasta and the branzino! Superb. I’ll most definitely be returning very soon. So happy to have a new great spot on Ditmars!
Wonderfully understated and elegant decor. Food was incredible from appetizer to dessert. Dont miss out on the lambchops! Cooked to perfection and artfully seasoned. Will definitely come back with friends
We have been really wanting to try this new place finally we did . We have been starting to blog about all the restaurants and food we have been eating . The food was outstanding the service was awesome very attentive waiter named GEORGE. We started out with some appetizers each one was more delicious then the last we then were so full couldn't order main course sides or dessert . We are looking forward to going back to try them. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Food and service were amazing! Looking forward to going back
This food is beyond good and the place is a gem. You won’t get better Mediterranean food anywhere in the whole city.
