Olivia Restaurant and Bar
Service is excellent. The food is very good. May be a bit overpriced for Hollywood, but it was a good evening.
We have been to Olivia several times but Sunday night was the best yet!!! Alfredo created a tableside pasta dish that we have not stopped talking about since we left the restaurant. Juan's great and personable as our lead waiter and the whole team was an extra benefit to the meal. The Fresh Burrata w/Prosciutto, Branzino and the Pasta finished cooking table side with the Parmigiano Wheel is AMAZING!!! See you all very soon - Regards Philip and Ronn
One of the best service that I have received at a restaurant. Every single staff was nice, attentive, and smiled through out the entire process. The management at this place really knows who to hire.
Went to Olivia’s for my birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and the rooftop dining has a fantastic view of downtown Hollywood. I had the lobster ravioli and it was just okay, but my husband and daughter loved their meals. The desserts were great, the service was great and I would definitely go again and try something else on the menu.
We love Olivia, we are regulars there. We go at least 2 times a month. The food is always delicious and consistent. The service is always 5 star. The cannoli is the best cannoli ever!!
From start to finish the whole experience was impeccable. We were greeted instantly and seated within seconds. The food was amazing. Definitely try the mozzarella bar, it was unlike anything else! Every employee was polite and very attentive. Loved this classy place and will definitely be recommending to anyone and everyone in the Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale area.
Always amazing 😉
Consistently great food and service. Love it and will be back.
Went here on a Friday night, was not too busy. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. Food was outstanding.
Good selection great food reasonable prices
The eggplant appetizer was “WOW”, thin slices of eggplant in a light but flavorful marinara sauce which was divine! We also tried the homemade mozzarella with tomato, pesto and basil appetizer from the “Mozzarella Bar”which was superb!
My husband had the veal shank and the smell of true authentic Italian spices filled the air, he claims the dish was delicious! I had the grilled swordfish which lacked flavor, not my favorite. However , the spinach , broccoli and sliced potato side dish was cooked perfectly and tasted very fresh. I also tried my husbands risotto which came with the veal shank dinner and, Oh my goodness, the risotto was amazing, so flavorful. Overall the meal was very good. We will definitely be back!
- très bon accueil malgré la foule bruyante autour du bar
- service parfait (notre serveur Juan) attentif et drôle
- choix du menu bien . Plat copieux
- Bon rapport qualité/prix
- une experience a recommander
We were charged for their Birthday offering even though they were out of what we wanted and out of what they offered us as an alternative.
The food was excellent and service started out very good but after the restaurant got busy, our waitress worked two larger tables and we got very little attention. It then took a while to get refills on drinks or to get our check.
I had the veal parmigiana, which was good but too much sauce frowns out the taste
One of the best resturants in Hollywood. If you like italian food you must try Olivias.
Food was delicious. Service fair. No one was in the restaurant for lunch except us and two other people. Waiter when he finally came over actually said I forgot you were here. Besides the service the restaurant doesn’t validate valet so if you are there 2 hrs it’s $10.00 which is a bit pricey for a lunch. Would think twice about coming back . At least they should validate half and it would cost $5.00 which is reasonable. Service needs to improve. Can’t imagine what they do if busy.
Excellent food, try the mozzarella bar....
We have been to the restaurant a few times. It was exceptional, as always.
We really enjoy dining there and will return
Très bien c’est ma deuxième fois
fresh well prepared food. nice size portions. Service was a up and down as the restaurant got busier. also, can get very loud.
The food and experience was amazing! Went with a group of ten ladies and we were so impressed
The food was amazing. Great service. Beautiful atmosphere.
Food was good, price reasonable, nice ambiance! service was terribly, took long for order to be taken, long for bringing the food, worst to pick up plates and ask if we wanted desert!
Each of our meals were outstanding.
Cooked to perfection, extremely flavorful.
The service above par...
Modern decor and open space makes it a very inviting place to gather.
Unfortunately this was a poor experience. The food was terrible and tasteless and the bread was so hard you could not eat it. We have been there many times for large family celebrations and quiet dinners with delicious entrees but not this past Saturday night. The prices went way up and definitely not worth the cost anymore. The only bright spot was Esteban our waiter, he was very good and attentive. We will not be going back to Olivia's sorry to say.
One of my new go to spots in Hollywood. Finally an Italian restaurant close to NY cooking.
We had a really nice time there. The food was very good.
Delicious food from start to finish. Large portions. The veal parmigiana was a huge portion enough for two plus. The gnocchi was amazing as an appetizer. There were 6 in our party. The wine selection is outstanding. I wish I could remember our waitress name. She was amazing! A little older, dark hair and not tall. She was “on it”. We will definitely be back.
The food was excellent! My only negative is that it took 4 hours for a group of nine.
Pleasantly surprised by the dinner, my wife and I both had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was exceptional. Our waitress Alex was also great.
Nice atmosphere, food & service was ok once they got to our table after seating us... waited at least 10 min. before anyone stopped at our table... not even a “be with you in a minute type thing” as we saw 3-4 other waitresses (??) standing by a divider wall. We were there before the Valentine crowds, too (early 6pm seating not 7 or 8pm). We do like the food though & vibe & have followed the owner/ managers for years from one restaurant to another. Ask to sit in main room to feel like your part of the crowd & by a window to look out if you want to look out at traffic or sidewalk walkers.
As a local resident I probably should have been here sooner, but there are many great choices in the South Broward dining scene. I expected a little more than I received this first visit. As part of a group of excellent Italian restaurants headed up by Carpaccio's in Bal Harbour, the menu selection was very similiar. Many choices ,large portions, great wine list, and very attractive venue. A few negatives that you tend to remember were a cracked water glass and $ 10.00 plus tip to park your car. Many, if not most, fine restaurants offer complimentary valet parking .
Never the less ,the experience was enjoyable, the food was presented well and was good and you didn't max out your credit card to pay the bill.
We will return for another visit but probably walk.
Food was very good. Restaurant is beautiful. Service very bad. Order was wrong and waitress took forever for everything!
Managers were very attentive and gave us a wonderful desert
Love this place . Food is outstanding.
Excellent food and service but could do without the loud music coming from the bar.
No soda! Missing service. Never seen it happening before but was not a good experience
Food: The food is good. The mozzarella bar is amazing. To be fair I always order meat or fish not pasta. What I don’t like is that the sides are all the same on every plate, which gives me an assembly line feeling. This time I had the lamb. It was ok. My socks weren’t knocked off. The sauce they serve on the side of it was not worth it. It lacked flavor and was watery. My husband had the veal montebianco which was good. He liked it and I tasted it. On other occasions we’ve had the salmon (ok) and the steaks (good).
Ambience: Very nice which is probably why we keep coming. It’s a nice date night place.
Enthusiastic waiter, delicious food, great wine, bread
We were disappointed in the mozzarella with prosciutto appetizer because the cheese was chewy. The waiter gave us a big build up about how the cheese was made and how tender it was.
The dinners were excellent!
