Italian Buffet Fridays, Saturdays and all Casino show nights. $21.99ea with reservation, $26.99ea walk-in.
Great dinner and great price! Several different items to choose from. We will definitely be back.
The food was dried out, the lettuce in the cesar salad was wilted and soggy. The only thing that was worth the money was the desert. Our server was very nice.
Pretty poor experience for a Saturday night, given the buffet setup. 6pm reservation, and everyone waited in same line. Hostess was waiting tables and cleaning up in addition to ocassionally seating guests. We sat right at entrance. Buffet food was room temperature. Waiter needed to be reminded twice to fetch drink from bar. Did most employees call out sick??? Casino restaurant should be packed given the limited choices, but not here. Wonder why... Price was good at $21.95. Service Service Service. Visit a Texas Roadhouse restaurant and see what I mean.
Italian buffet for a good price and a good selection. Salads, soup, mussels, and bread sticks were highlights.
My wife and I had a nice time. The place is very nice and clean. We had the buffet and we liked the food, are waitress was very nice. We have read mixed reviews about the place so we decided to give it a try and I’m glad we did.
The food was fantastic . They were short staff but the waiter we had was very good. We will surely go back again
Their buffet is fresh and delicious. Their desserts, especially the tiramisu was amazing
The only negative was this employee, a BIG guy, who kept checking the food kept reaching in front of me or very close to me opening the lids. It was so rude and inconsiderate. He would never say excuse me or even acknowledge my presence. I was getting ready to say something to him but decided against it because it wouldn't have been nice.
Great selection. Excellent service. Highly recommend.
The buffet is a great value
Worst meal I have had at a casino property bad food tasteless several item I cold not identify Fish fry lamb ? So poor
The buffet was amazing. The staff was so attentive. Wonderful night.
Garlic fiery wings are phenomenal and rice balls. The dessert options are great as well! However, the rest of the food is okay needs seasoning like garlic. Nothing to be excited for but at least you have options. Wait staff makes this restaurant and enjoyable experience.
I took my mother and girlfriend to their a Friday Night Buffet at Parx Casino. The selection and quality of the food was excellent. The service was awesome. The staff was friendly and accommodating and very helpful with describing Buffet entrees. And the dessert was plentiful and delicious. I look forward to returning. This was a great value with a great assortment of quality food
We ate there on New Year's Eve and they were serving buffet food. I wasn't aware it was going to be buffet. But everything was delicious !!! For $48 and a complimentary glass of champagne, it was worth it. There was a large selection of food and they kept the food replenished. I only gave 4 stars for ambience because it was in a casino and we were seated right at the front. But I made reservations and we were seated right away.
We went on New Years Eve and they only had the buffet. Nowhere did it indicate the price so we assumed it would be the typical weekend price of $21.99 since we had a reservation. The food was not hot and mediocre, we couldn't find anything we truly liked. The pizza was over cooked, meatballs too dense, etc.
Then to our surprise they charged us $48 a person. This was our second time and neither were worth the visit. Quality is poor.
Surprised that the food was set up on the bar. Those that are somewhat short or handicapped will have issues getting their food without assistance
Yes it was ok, expensive for a pasta buffet but it was ok
The buffet was not good. The menu looked great with all the food that I love. The chicken piccata was thin and dry. I am native New Yorker and that was not New York style pizza. I guess you should not buy a philly cheese steak in New York and New York style pizza in Philly.
The food was really good for a buffet the veal Park and rice balls are delicious
We were at Oliveto a couple of weeks ago and it was fabulous. This time the hot food was barely warm however it had good flavor. They have also changed the buffet to no longer offer a spring mix salad and a fresh fruit option for dessert.
I did speak to our server about the temperature of our food. We will certainly give Oliveto another chance. Perhaps it was just a poor evening for them.
Very nice experience. I would suggest adding some vegetable side dishes...Italian zucchini, broccoli rabe, green beans, etc.
The food was cold and horrible, we will never eat there again.
Have been here several times before and it has been great. I was very surprised this last Saturday. They had a buffet which was NOT good. We tried several items but the wings were cold, the meatballs dry and some kind of mystery sauce. Needless to say, we stopped there. The ambiance was less than inviting and I overheard the table next to me saying that this would be their last time there. We left without having dessert. I did, however, ask the manager if we could take it home since it was portioned out and looked edible and she said "No" without hesitation. For the price we could have gone to Applebees in the immediate area and had better food and service. Olivetto you disappointed us!!! Never again.
1st: I didn't realize it was a buffet until I got there. I don't remember seeing that during my reservation process.
2nd they tried to seat four adults at a small table, one big enough for four kids. I made it known it was too small and they corrected it but I don't appreciate that they tried to make us sit there.
3rd the food was just ok. I guess for a buffet, it that's good.
4th they made a mistake on our check. Really hard to do since they only provided service for coffee for two and one tea. They slipped another coffee on the check. We identified and they corrected.
We had the pre-show buffet, which was very reasonable at $22. Food was good quality for a buffet and a nice variety, though I would have preferred eggplant or chicken parm to veal, because I don't eat veal. But again, plenty to choose from. Caesar salad, pasta with shrimp, chicken wings, meatballs, manicotti, pork cutlets, etc. were all tasty and hot. I ordered a cocktail, which was very nice. My husband ordered his usual Absolut up, ice on the side, and they delivered what literally looked like a thimble-ful in a large glass, kind of ridiculous for $9, but he just ordered a second one to make up for the chintzy pour. Service was pleasant, not too attentive, but it was a busy night and there seemed to be very few servers working a large room. Hard surfaces (tile floor) make it noisy. As others have said, walking through the VERY smokey casino to reach the restaurants and the theatre is really unpleasant.
They don’t tell you until you arrive that it’s a buffet. And not a very good one.
Preshow buffet, food was mostly ok, nothing special. Pizza was awful
Fantastic Value, very attentive service, and the buffet is constantly being refreshed!
Food is very good
The buffet selection far exceeded what I was expecting.
Hello my name is Giovanni. I ate with Natalie Patty Jay and Steve. Just wanted to thank you for adding my friend Steve to our table. You girls went out of your way to make everyone happy for Natalie's birthday my fiance Natalie had a great time at your restaurant thanks again for all your help and support. Giovanni from Philly 😎
Wow this a place is awful. Food was old and cold, except the deserts which were all completely frozen. Service was slow and unfriendly. No refills on water or soda. They even ran out of plates at one point and no one could eat until they found more. Super awful.
The service was horrible! I made a reservation and still had to wait 15-20 min when I was looking at empty tables. The waitress did not come over to ask us if we wanted a drink until we were done eating our dinner and starting our desert. Then to get the check was another long process. Would I eat there again probably not due to lack of service. Food was on the cold side but tasted good.
Good variety of food choices. Everything prepared well and staff kept buffet well refilled. Wait staff very attentive. Very good dinner for the price.
There was a great assortment of dishes at the buffet. Everything I tried was delicious. Great value too
Between the seating, which they forced four of us into a very small table, to the drink menu having only 4 mixed drinks despite having a bar with 30 bottles or so, no soft drink refills till we waived them down, 25 minutes between asking for a check and getting it, the entire experience was well below par.
The buffet was excellent but the food could have been a bit warmer.
Food was excellent although I was surprised at the soup selection of “lobster bisque”. I was expecting an Italian one like pasta fagoli or chicken pastina.
Also Caesar salad?
The entree selections were not all Italian.
Fish was tilapia! No sausage and peppers? No spaghetti!
No cannoli etc. and no extra red sauce or even parm cheese or crushed pepper flakes?
Don’t get me wrong ,
The food was excellent for the most part .
I would go again. It just seems strange that in a restaurant that only serves Italian wines the buffet lacked some classic choices!
