Olives- Atlantis Paradise Island
Filet mignon was very dry. It tasted more like prime rib then filet. Potatoes were soupy. Calamari for appetizer was EXTREMELY SALTY!!
Olives in Las Vegas is my very favorite restaurant of all time so I was excited to try Olives in the Bahamas. It was not the Vegas experience nor was the food up to par. My daughters filet mignon arrived to the table rare and we sent it back to cook a little more. They returned with another steam but it was a sirloin folded in half and not a filet at all. My husband’s dish was cold and my salmon was just okay. Service was slow and we had to continually ask for water, napkins, an additional place setting etc. it may have just been an off night for them given how busy it was but I canceled the reservation we had there later in the week.
First night at Atlantis . Very disappointed In the risotto. It was like paste.
Way overpriced and underwhelming food. Billed as a fine dining experience, it’s really a fine fleecing experience. Leave the Atlantis resort and support the locals in Nassau.
Best homemade ravioli I’ve had. Ever. And excellent capers salad. Good cocktails. Great service.
If you are expecting the quality to be like the Olives that was in Las Vegas then prepare to be disappointed. The food was mediocre at best, the server came to take our food order before we even had drink menus or ordered a drink, we ordered our apps which came out before our drinks and immediately after the bread and wanted us to place our dinner order at the time but we decided not to so we could actually have a meal spaced out properly and not be rushed out and our food came before we even got napkins. Would not recommend.
Loved original Olives in Charlestown. This Olives was beyond disappointing. The chicken was so heavily salted I could only eat a couple of bites. Returned my daughter's mac and cheese because it was floating in butter and, coincidentally, I saw a table diagonally from us return their childs mac and cheese as well. Wine was good (out of a bottle) and server was polite. However, please train your servers NOT to stack plates. Especially in front of a patron. Rude!
Subpar food, quite tasteless. Disappointed we ate a meal here— for a celebrity chef restaurant they need to learn how to season their food. If you’re thinking of dining here, definitely skip it
I had a great time at Olive's with my only complaint being that although I reserved through Open Table, when I arrived I was told that there was no reservation for me. Furthermore, either I could wait an hour or be seated outside. Luckily it was a cool evening so I had no problem being seated outside. Besides that, the experience was lovely and the staff helpful.
Wrong cocktail served. Crab cake was dry and definitely cooked from frozen. Chicken was decent but on the dry side. Service was pleasant.
Delicious. Service was prompt and very respectful.
Great food, beautiful space. Ask to be seated away from the casino—the cigarette and cigar smoke was pretty strong where we were seated.
It was my wife's birthday dinner. We were seated outside on the terrace with an amazing view of the Marina. The food was terrific!
This is a tough one. I'd recommend it if I knew someone who was stuck on Paradise Island. We had a house in Nassau and went to Atlantis for an afternoon and dinner just to check it out. It was pretty gross. If you like Las Vegas, Atlantis is the place for you. It's really crowded, really glitzy and feels really fake. After an hour there, we all said we were glad we weren't staying there, even our 12 year-old who we thought would be enthralled by the much ballyhooed (and super-crowded) water park. She said she felt sorry for the fish in the resort aquarium. So Olives was a pleasant surprise. When we saw that it was connected to the casino, we thought, "Yuk," but once inside and seated in the back of the restaurant it was pleasant, the service was great and the food was good. The appetizer salads were a bit lacking in flavor and creativity but the entrees and desserts were all very tasty. It's expensive, though ($35-75 entrees), and not worth the price. I don't know any people to whom I would recommend the Atlantis, but if you find yourself there, Olives is a pretty good choice for dinner.
Food was mediocre. In the middle of the casino....loud and could smell smoke. Service was rushed with multiple servers.
Service was extremely slow. Staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. 2.5 hours for dinner for two! I wanted to leave so badly at the end of that time, but the check took another 40 minutes. The main plates were very good, small and way over priced, but the sides had literally no flavor and were sent back, which I have never done before.
Pasta was very cold, steak taste burnt. Wasn't pleased with the food at all. Service was great but food was awful.
The food was cold twice. Never got to eat.
Wife loved it, I didn’t .
We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food and service were. We kept it simple - calamari, salad and flatbread - and all were quite good. Also, we found the wine list to be - for the resort - extensive and rather reasonable.
The food and service was below par for the price.
Style over substance. Filet fish full of bones and had to be sent back. The waiter had an attitude about it and did not apologize. Service slow and inattentive. Extremely high prices. Not worth it.
Requested a birthday plate for my husband's birthday. They did not just bring out the plate, they also sang very enthusiastically!
We booked through Open Table & they didn't 'see' our reservation but we were seated without a problem, but that meant they also didn't 'see' my special request for a small bday cake to celebrate a special bday. Luckily the waitstaff is amazing and took care of it.
The service and the food were excellent!
Love this place and could eat there every night!
Rushed, cocktails came after entreo
They try their best with service. Definitely better hen the other spots in the area. The food is ok. The mozzarella tomatoes were too overripe and not fresh. The coconut sea bass was decent; the cauliflower rice that came with it could be better. Bread was cold. Did go there before and it was a lot better.
Food was brought out promptly. Have to instruct them on every aspect. They are not used to high end hospitality on most of the island.
We got set at the smallest table. My boyfriend was expecting something nice and romantic but it wasn’t. He was going to propose to me but changed his mind because where they sat us. The hostesses had trouble finding our reservation. I don’t think they ever found it. We ordered a warm cookie desert that was ice cold and nasty. Spent $350 not slightly worth the money. The local food was 10 times better at the fish fry and cheaper.
Located with in the casino so there is a lot more noise than expected. Attention of the server was good. The meal was well prepared and nice. The cost of the meal was more reasonable than other establishments on the property, but the cost is still higher than the costs should be.
Great food and beautiful venue, just was disappointed to get seated RIGTH next to the hostess calling out names when we did make a reservation. I think a nicer location would have been appropriate.
The prices are absolutely ridiculous for the quality of the food. We had a wonderful server but there was nothing memorable about our meal except for the bill. We were told Olives was one of the better restaurants of the entire Atlantis property...not terrible just not worth it.
Food was good. Service at times was below average.
Nice wine list. Great food.
Good energy in the restaurant.
Overall very good, comparable to Las Vegas and New York.
Olives had great atmosphere, service and food. The Calamari was crispy and delicious! The Sea Bass was tasty. The price was
Very expensive, but everything in the hotel is expensive. Overall I would recommend!
Over priced for mediocre food and very loud restaurant!
I had the opportunity to dine upon the Lion Fish. Awesome meal- expertly prepared and elegantly presented to the table. Awesome Job Fish @Atlantis!
Front receptionists have TOO GO! Has management not seen the reviews !! They are surly, roll the eyes, totally unprofessional! Servers as well! Only reason the restaurant is still in business is because you are a captive audience at this the Atlantis. Food just okay....
Service was excellent!!
