Wasn’t very impressed. Gnocchi and burger were good. Octopus was over cooked. Scallops were not good at all. Curry and scallops are just a bad combo overall, so I’m not sure how that made the menu. Excellent service. But I expected more from the food given the price.

The food overall was really quite good. We had chicken and risotto as mains. Both were excellent. We had the farm salad as a starter, which was great but exceeding large for 2 people. The mushrooms were a very good side. We had the bread royale—which was too large a portion for 2 people and way, way too fatty and decadent. We would have much preferred a regular bread service instead with high quality bread and butter/oil instead of the of over-priced, fatty bread. The waitperson made a big deal about how the food was designed to be sharable, but then balked when we asked if the chicken could be plated or cut for two people. What happened to the sharable concept? The two biggest issues we had: First, the main dining room is WAY TOO LOUD. Impossible to hear each other over the noise. It would seem that carpets over the bare concrete floors or some sound deadening would be very beneficial and would make me want to come back. After all…what’s good food without good conversation? Secondly, while I am happy to pay good prices for quality food and great environment, a $300 bill for 2 is a bit much for the value received. Its a great addition to the South Loop, which really doesn't have many fine dining alternatives, but it could be so much more!

OMG still thinking about every bite from last nights dinner! We were sat to a happy anniversary card on the table and a toast to our celebration of love. The food was the real star of the night though every single plate that came to the table was outstanding!!!!!!!!! I am not an oyster girl but they were fantastic so freaking tasty the crudo was delicious the salad so yummy! Our server was so sweet. I can’t wait to go back!!!!!
