Oliver & Bonacini Café Grill in Oakville offers private dining and events in the Trafalgar Room, accommodating up to 24 guests for a seated event, or 35 guests for a standing cocktail reception. The Leighland Room is perfect for larger groups of up to 60 guests for seated events, or 80 guests for standing receptions. Combining the two rooms, we can accommodate 74 guests for a seated event, or 135 guests for a standing reception. The lounge is also available as a semi-private space for standing receptions of up to 45 guests.

I have been to this O&B several times hoping it will improve (I have been to all of the O &B owned restaurants in GTA and while I love Canoe, Jump is only a bit above mediocre) and this one has been consistently just mediocre. Went on Valentine's Day - Roast Pork was bland, my steak was thin, pear tiramisu dessert was frozen etc... Experience was like you would expect from a Kelsey's or a Caseys roadhouse - bland unimaginative stuff. Oakville needs more diverse restaurant offerings.

Oliver and Bonacini restaurants such as Canoe and Jump in Toronto's downtown core are well-known for a spectacular, but pricey menu and service that make for A great dining experience. The Oakville café provides similar O and B ambiance, but without the price of its more expensive cousins. The lunch menu provided options that were more reflective of a typical lower-cost restaurant: namely, any featured pizza, burgers and fish and chips. There was no daily special offered. The service was efficient (we had lunch in one hour), but lacked warmth. The mushroom soup appetizer was warm and hearty while the Asian Caesar salad was also hearty. My wife's pasta was hot and in a suitable lunch serving. Yet, despite this, the absence of an offer of ground pepper or grated Parmesan cheese for the tomato pasta seemed out of keeping for O&B's usual level of service. Given the size of the crowd for a Friday, it did not seem like the patrons minded.

This was the third time we had eaten at this restaurant at Oakville Place and the service and the food lack something The menu seems to be very limited as to choice. I ordered the hamburger and the bun was too small for the hamburger and trapping and it constantly fell out of the bun onto the plate. My wife had fish and chips and there was more batter than fish The service was good when we first arrived buy halfway through dinner our waitress dissapeared as there was a group to look after and we sat for quite a while after we had eaten to get someone to let us pay our bill A disappointment from previous visits

This is the second O&B Restaurant i have been to where food was mediocre and/or one meal had to be sent back. Service was poor for a Monday night. We were not offered Coffee, tea etc at the end of the meal

We have been here many times. Thoroughly enjoy the food. There was a special 3 course menu offered for $18.00 which was a good deal.

The overall experience was not bad but the waitress was not that great. She was judgmental and even ignored one of our requests. I don't know if I would go back to that location again, but the food was good. I wish they had more options though. Try one of the other locations.

We often go to O & B for lunch, especially during Winterlicious. The food and service are always great and we enjoy the ambiance of the restaurant, as well.
