Seasoning. That's what this meal lacked. The food wasn't bad. It just lacked punch, flare, flavor or uniqueness. To give you a few examples ... The special beef & kimchi dumpling was completely bland. The short rib mac & cheese lacked short rib and was overly loose & wet. The rack of lamb, although cooked perfectly, needed salt & spice. The truffle fries were undercooked & got soggy when served on the same plate. Overall, this could have been an exceptional meal as the menu looked amazing. Perhaps this was an off night for the chef.
