Dear Friends, Welcome in our Italian authentic Trattoria Pizzeria Olive & Capperi. Traditionally, the Trattoria was the family business, and the mum (always the one in the kitchen) was passing on the grandma’s recipes (always present and checking on everyone and everything) to friends and customers... This routine would rigorously keep intact the recipes’ originality, the passion in preparing the food and make sure that everything was fresh on a daily basis! The bread, the pasta, the sauces, the meats, the pastries were prepared daily … like a magical ritual. Rochester is the place we have chosen for its distinctive style, also reminding us of the characteristic small Italian villages, where people get to know each other and become friends. We have eaten here several times and always been excellent. So for we treated a relative for his birthday, unfortunately we were not informed about live music ,although good ,we would not have booked had we known .The food was excellent apart from the rosemary potatoes, that were very burnt that they looked like pieces of black cole and no way could they be eaten or should have been on our plate ,the waitress said sorry yes I know I will take them off the bill .This was unacceptable

Excellent meal comprising of starters, main course and desert. Recomend you try the bruchetta, salmon and king prawns in brandy sauce followed by tiramissu. 6 people 2 bottles el vino plus soft drinks . Good value at 195. Btw on the sat night excellent vocalist called Louise I think, nice range of songs and didn't drown conversation. Will he going back. Only negative? Get credit card machine working... please.

I have visited this authentic Italian restaurant on a few occasions now and I must say the serve the best pizza I’ve ever tried,freshly baked in front of you and tasted like heaven..service is excellent as well

My husband & I came here in 2018 for our anniversary & we could not fault the restaurant. So we took friends with us & was extremely disappointed. Food came out burnt, small portions on large plates, food description wrong as we had a vegetarian in our party. The service was not very welcoming either. Not sure if I would go back to restaurant in future?
