   We live in Vallarta and this was our first time dining at Olive....and there will be many more! The food is Greek based but prepared with the freshness, taste and presentation style of Mexico. We ordered a sampling of many dishes and all were outstanding. The Tepanade, Zuflacki, Humus were first, then the Greek and the Beet salads - both excellent. Then a Vegetarian Moussaka and the Chicken Brochette, also excellent. For postres, the fig with ice cream option, I cannot recall the name. Again, excellent. Our waiter was very attentive. The spaces up and downstairs were quiet. The building is lovely and has a swimming pool which suggests that the structure initially was a large home. Ruben was on vacation, hope to meet him when we return.

   The roasted tomato cream soup was fantastic. We also enjoyed a huge portion of chamorro. The wait staff was very friendly and professional.

   I recently enjoyed a Thursday night meal at Olive by Rubén. Our Airbnb was only 4 blocks away, and the restaurant was participating in the annual Restaurant Week event. We were even able to convince a couple of friends with a place in the Zona Romántica to join us, and they hardly ever eat outside of their neighborhood. We were all pleasantly surprised. The service was amazing, and the food and drinks exceptional. We highly recommend this place, and look forward to visiting again on a future trip to Puerto Vallarta.

   First time at Olive. The scallops with mushroom and cream salsa was delicious, as was the salmon and Tarta de queso. Service was pretty good but a little slack as the restaurant became busier. Definitely will return,

   Everything was fabulous and cooked to perfection. The staff was attentive and very pleasant. Will definitely go back.

   Buen descubrimiento. Fuimos con amigos y a todos nos gustó la comida. Creo que en pleno verano puede hacer mucho calor en la terraza.

   Excellent food and service like what we have come to expect from Ruben. The setting is very comfortable, and located in the nice Versailles neighborhood. We will definitely return.

   One of the chiefs hadn't turned up for work so the remaining staff did a good job in trying to make sure everyone was served. Very nice venue and the food was good quality.

    Breakfast at Olive was absolutely terrific. Three of us had pancakes, eggs Benedict, and am omelette—all were done exactly as described. (The Athena omelette was really, really good)! Ruben is very present in the dining room, making sure everybody is happy and has what they need. Overall, a new breakfast favorite for us—this was our first visit for breakfast (we’ve been for dinner a handful of times) and we’ll return soon.
