Founded by sibling duo Chef Philip Pretty and Lauren Pretty, Olive & Rose is a culinary destination born from their shared passion for exceptional food and genuine hospitality. We'v reimagined the dining experience as a neo-bistro, where classic French techniques with a twist meet vibrant flavors that are unmistakably Californian. Each dish tells a story of flavor, texture, and creativity—a reflection of Chef Philip Pretty’s entire culinary career.
From sourcing local, seasonal ingredients to minimizing food waste and reducing our environmental footprint, we’re proud to continue the sustainable dining legacy of our sister restaurant, Heritage, by incorporating green certified and green Michelin star practices into our operations.

Our dining area is a covered patio, please dress accordingly.

Our first visit and it was lovely . Calm, hospitable , friendly and delicious clean fresh yummy food ! The staff are kind and knowledgeable and sent a little champagne as it was our anniversary :) We’re ready to come back and want to try all the small plates !

It was amazing! It was my first time ‘! It was my Besties Birthday celebration and it was perfection! The service (Gianna) was wonderful! The cocktails were delicious. The food was mind blowing and our desserts were the perfect ending to a perfect experience!

The service was professional, timely and extremely courteous and personable. The menu selections exciting and interesting. The cocktails were so creative, wonderfully named and delicious. We hope to return and work our way through the entire list of offerings. The taste of our food selections outstanding. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant as well as the surrounding view of the motel, very mid century vibes! This restaurant is such a comfortable environment to meet with good friends, relax and enjoy great food, great wines, great cocktails, and be taken care of by a superb waitstaff.

The staff is very good. The ambiance, it's ok - - very clean looking and fairly plain. As for the food - - the halibut was replaced with cod. The cod was good although very salty.

Always love our experience at both Heritage and Olive and Rose! Enjoyed the chef counter this time and had a fantastic experience!

We loved every moment! Staff was great and patient as we were about 10 mins late for our reservation, however we did not feel rushed to leave for the next reservation coming in. Food was shareable and delicious. We definitely want to come back with friends!
