Olive and June
In celebration of both the cuisine and culture of Southern Italy, all pastas are made in-house and every dish focuses on locally-sourced vegetables and meats. Olive and June's beverage program features Italian-inspired cocktails and also includes a diverse selection of Italian wine, Amari, and Grappa.
** Reservations are highly recommended. We kindly ask guests conclude their meal within two hours. Due to a industry-wide phenomenon of late cancellations and no-shows we now require a credit card to hold a table. No shows and day of reservations will be charged $10 per person. The restaurant stops taking food orders at 9:30pm and drink orders at 9:45pm.**

Fantastic food, drinks, and service! Must go for any occasion
Here for Happy hour / bday celebration and it was great . Would have loved outdoor seating better ( looked empty at top level but prob not open for staffing purpose ). Free valet parking is nice .
The food was incredible. Our server seemed unhappy to be there and wasn’t terribly kind or helpful. Everyone else seemed to be great so maybe he was just having a bad day. The pumpkin ravioli was exceptional and the patio is beautiful.
We haven't been to Olive and June's in years, so we were hoping for a fun return visit. The restaurant did not disappoint. We enjoyed happy hour drinks and shared two fabulous dishes.
Have the mushroom bruschetta. Unique and so good. Pappardelle was a little overcooked - make sure to ask for it al dente.
First time here and we had a great time and amazing dinner. Food was delicious and service top notch. Thanks.
Loved it! Great birthday celebration with my partner. Only wish they'd bring the farm egg back to the menu!
Individual dishes were under and over cooked. The lasagna was over salted and overcooked. The broccoli was undercooked and had not caramelized. The tomato sauce on the other pasta dish was overcooked and had a tomato paste consistency. None of the dishes were seasoned well. The prices were well above the quality of the dishes served. The service was excellent, with several servers in supervised training.
I think it's a common concern across Austin right now but it seems that Olive and June is severely understaffed. We were sat for an 8:00 pm reservation and waited 40 minutes to be acknowledged by our server beyond having waters dropped off. I made eye contact and flagged her down multiple times and she saw me and then turned to walk away, directly ignoring me. Right as we were about to leave she finally came up and apologized saying she had been slammed which makes the wait understandable but not her persistent avoidance of our table. She gave us a complementary cheese board which was underwhelming at best (literally only had one small portion of brie). While she was very nice and attentive moving forward and I can understand how being busy can really set you behind, I would not return. No one in the restaurant seemed to think we should be acknowledged and multiple other staff could have come over to explain the situation. The food was good but overpriced and the fact that our experience made it so poor makes me really not want to go back ever again, especially when Austin has an overflow of subpar overly priced Italian restaurants.
Wonderful food, service was excellent!
Great ambiance. The atmosphere is beautiful. Unfortunately the appetizers were quite heavy - fritto misto, and arancini very heavy and cheesy/doughy. The papardelle was soggy - expect more of an al dente style, this was overcooked... Very good wine and lovely scenery. Appreciate complimentary valet.
Recommend for a one-time visit for the ambiance, but if you love italian food, this is more of an american italian style place - and inquire about size/preparation style for orders.
Outstanding, as always. First time back since the onset of the pandemic for restaurant week supporting the Food Bank. So, its been well over a year. Olive and June never disappoints! Our favorite restaurant in Central Texas.
Service, food, atmosphere. All of it- Amazing!
I think our expectations were too high. That, and the fact that our go to Italian restaurant is Red Ash. Food was fine, ambiance was fine, service was great. Glad we tried it, but wouldn’t come back.
The food was decent. Not my favorite. The gelato was terrible.
It was great service our waitress was very helpful with the menu and wine selection.
The Sicilian appetizer was unexpected, fried cheese, mixto Frito and wine excellent
The people are very nice - there was no valet so finding parking was really hard and super inconvenient-the restaurant looks a bit out dated especially if you get sat upstairs. The food is good but not special - I could have an equally as good a meal at North.
Our server Jarvis was wonderful and even walked us out with umbrellas in the rain!
Thanks for a great meal!
Enjoyed an early dinner on the nice patio. Impressive shady area.
The best Italian I’ve had in a very long time. I wish we could have sat outside.
Loved the food / drinks and the ambient! Will definitely be back :)
The menu is not extensive but I think that's what makes it great. Restaurant focuses on a few items and executes them incredibly well.
They leave the doors open so the air conditioning doesn’t cool it down. It was burning hot. Our waitress barely came by, we ended up taking the check to the bar to close out. The food wasn’t good at all. The bartenders were very nice, and drinks were good.
A lovely meal at O&J. Particularly enjoyed the pork meatballs app and the squash risotto. Also the ravioli was a big hit. Good drinks good food good time!
Great experience! Patio is beautiful, the food is amazing and we felt super safe. Will go again for sure!
Our table was outside on their lovely patio. We enjoyed the balmy weather and the delicious food. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant paid attention to dietary restrictions. The menu offers fewer choices but has good variety.
Had a wonderful covid safe dining experience here. Every single member of staff that we interacted with were extremely friendly. Alex F was our server, they gave us great recommendations and made us feel at ease instantly. We will absolutely be back.
Amazing food! Our server was great. The only thing I would suggest is improving on the food time. We waited over 30 minutes for our entrees.
Recommend 10/10. We ordered the beef pasta, the ravioli and the linguini for our entrees and each dish was different yet packed with flavor. HIGHLY recommend the ravioli.
Amazing. Will definitely be back!
Table next to us was really loud. Couldn’t hear each other. Food and service were great, but the restaurant was also a little blandly decorated
We love olive and june! We come often for special occasions and always have the best time. The food is always amazing, we love the Caesar salad, arancini, meatballs and bucatini pasta. We order them every time we go. Our waitress April was so sweet and helpful!
We’ve always loved the outdoor patio at Olive and June with that amazing tree. So, it was disappointing to visit this weekend and see they had put up a plastic tent that destroys te view of the tree. I understand if it’s raining, or maybe cold, but not on a warm dry summer night. The food was amazing as always but I don’t think we’ll be returning. I miss the tree:..not worth the price to eat in a plastic tent. :(
The atmosphere is delightful. Great for a special occasion. The food was made with fresh ingredients. Every item we ordered was prepared with care. The server was accessible and attentive.
Went for a celebratory dinner for my husbands new job and we picked the perfect place. Wine was a perfect pairing for our dinner.
Great experience, server could not have been more accommodating. Complimentary valet was a great touch.
Food was fresh and flavorful. Portions were very fair for the prices. Service was attentive; waiter was knowledgeable about the menu items and very friendly and attentive. Great ambience.
Our server, Jarvis, was fantastic.
