We enjoyed our early evening dinner on the outdoor patio, cooled by the beautiful oak canopy and lightly misting fans. The cocktails, appetizers and pasta dishes were all well presented and delicious, efficiently brought to our table by various staff. Thank you for a relaxed evening out! Melissa & Jim
Food was pretty tasty. Unfortunately, the service was subpar. Not nearly attentive or friendly enough. Waiting too long to be greeted and checked on. The lower deck patio looked really poor compared to the rest of the restaurant and unfortunately that’s where we sat. Drinks were also good.
The service was great but the food was beyond terrible. Neither of our dishes were edible. I’ve informed the manager.
Beautiful atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food!
Delicious Italian fare, professional waitstaff.
Wonderful service. He recommended 2 wines we all loved. Food was amazing!
It was a very cute spot! Great for date night. Will defiantly be coming back to try more of the menu.
Service was meh and awkward.
Food was good, but felt like something was missing. Although, the ricotta cheesecake was the best dessert I’ve had in a long time.
Ambiance needs some work. It was too quiet in the dining room and just needed a few extra candles to make it more of a romantic atmosphere. I would rate 6/10 in overall dining experiences.
Server insisted we give her our full order so she could time it appropriately then proceeded to bring salads while still eating appetizers! Then she made a mistake with the salads and they had to be redone. Sat on first floor patio and was grungy and not impressive at all. Servers attitude was less than pleasant. Too many great restaurants to deal with her arrogance and mistakes.
Always the best service , cocktails, ambiance and food is AMAZING. Calamari is one of the best we've ever had. Homemade pasta is incredible.
Great service, ambience, and food. Such a wonderful neighborhood spot that is a welcome oasis in a cute neighborhood where the staff is happy you’ve joined them for a respite! Be sure to say hello to Alex behind the bar of he’s working—he’ll make you a fine cocktail on the menu or off. I would heartily recommend the wonderful pastas, cooked to a fluffy yet al dente consistency that will make you change your cooking technique for spaghetti night. Make a reservation and go!
Terrible experience. They sat us outside since our reservation was for the patio. A storm hit the area and they made us stay under the tent untill is started to literally blow away over our heads. They told us we were not aloud in the restaurant. A server literally blocked the door! We were soaking wet. Food was soaking wet. They finally let us in once the tent lifted form the ground and landed back down. Food was okay. Had to have it all re made. Didn’t even get a discount. To top it off the server when asked what we should do with our food that was ruined said I just lost all my tables. They could have moved us inside to the open tables when the storm started!
No thank you
My birthday and it was a scrumptious meal and lovely time!!
Weekly date night. Everything was fresh and tasty. Will definitely return.
Food was great. Service was good. They took a long time to bring dessert and we didn’t say anything. But they apologized and took it off the bill. That was very nice of them.
We recently dined at Olive & June to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We chose to dine outside and were seated in the downstairs outside patio. The food and service were excellent, however, the patio was very noisy, both from large dinner parties near us and booming bass from a speaker system. Also, the table and chairs didn't match the fine level of cuisine and service.
Had a reservation for an Anniversary early dinner, front greeter placed us in a terrible table, so I asked for a better one as I had made the reservation with comments about the dining was for our anniversary, she said the better tables were got those who requested them, I told her I did, nothing from her, so I said we would be leaving then. She immediately gave us the nicer table a floor up, place was almost empty. Need better people for seating. After that food came out way too fast, felt rushed, even after the waiter new it was our anniversary, because he brought out a bottle of bubbles for us our kids bought. Food was good, but everything was just a little off.
Our first time at Olive & June and we were very impressed. The service was amazing, food was amazing from start to finish, great drinks and a very helpful and knowledgeable staff. We will definitely be back!
The food was fantastic and the service was great. Fresh made pasta and sauces were perfect. The asparagus was the best I’ve had anywhere ever
Overall very nice evening. We sat on covered patio. Service was excellent. Food inconsistent (some things great; others meh...) but definitely worth coming back.
As always, an absolutely exquisite experience from the food, service, knowledge of staff and atmosphere
The food was excellent. The service was mediocre. I didn't catch the waiter's name as he mumbled it to us. We ordered all courses to be shared. When the second course was brought, including a $50 steak, the waiter forgot to bring plates and steak knives. Our waiter disappeared behind a door marked "employees only" and did not come back. I was hoping our waiter would reappear to ask for plates and knives to eat my rapidly cooling steak. I even went looking for wait staff inside the restaurant, hoping to find someone who could provide plates and sharp knives, and the dining areas were devoid of wait staff. Perhaps there was a meeting before the dinner rush? It seems like a bad management decision to pull all the waitstaff off the floor simultaneously. I finally had to ask the hostess for plates and steak knives. When our waiter finally did re-appear, he seemed surprised that we had plates and knives. Our waiter was polite but totally unconcerned about the service he delivered. At best, the demeanor of our waiter was passive-aggressive. I don't expect a personal relationship with the waitstaff, but I expect the staff to care about the service they deliver. They did sign-up to do a job, after all. I still recommend Olive and Junes as the food is excellent and this the first time the service has been anything but exceptional.
They had a fox Mother’s Day menu. It was expensive and not what we where hoping for in terms of the dishes. Certainly the regular dining experience there should be better. The place is very nice .
I was very disappointed. It was a recommendation based on what I could find available during a very busy Mother's Day weekend. The drink was great, but the food was mediocre at best and that no longer works for me. If I'm going to eat out, I want great food. The entre was good (shrimp with polenta), good flavor, but that was it. There were several courses included with the meal, but if each dish isn't great, they should be saved. The cake was beautiful, but very dry. Everything just lacked good flavor. The setting was nice, and the service was great.
We all loved our pastas. The ravioli is outstanding. The waiter accommodated my children's wishes and they loved the Shirley Temples. We will return.
Delicious food and drinks as always!
Todd was great server.
Once an elevated experience, this upscale option in Clarksville needs a refresh. Service was only so-so, while the prices are still high. The interior space is noisy and not a great place for an intimate dinner. Tiny Boxwoods is a better choice if you're looking for something in the neighborhood.
First, I was told FOUR times that I would be expected to vacate the table in two hours. I had no problem with the policy, but I felt hammered by the repetition of the policy, as if I were stupid.
The cocktail was delicious, and I enjoyed my beet citrus salad.
The wine list was ridiculous. Nothing in a moderate price range was offered. I settled for $18 a glass and took tiny sips. But my entrée--chicken cacciatore--was just awful. Measly little leg and tiny thigh, tasteless polenta, and the sauce needed salt. I asked for salt and got a tiny little portion in a bowl. Excuse me?! When our waitress asked hiow it was, I replied, Well, okay, I guess, and she said Great! And whisked away.
I shall not return.
I brought my dad and stepmom here and they can be hard to impress but they LOVED this place and our waitress was so nice and made great recommendations
Everything was wonderful! We enjoyed every minute from the time we got there til the time we left. Food was great, service (Cameron) was great, and enjoyed our time thoroughly.
the entrees were subpar, but the appetizer and dessert were delicious. highly recommend the calamari and the apple donuts.
I don’t recommend the shrimp pasta dish. the ravioli was decent.
Server was very good. Wine list is high priced, our bottle of Sangiovese was very tasty. The Arancini appetizer was excellent, especially the Romesco sauce but it didn’t come with much of it. We asked for more and got it. The fish entree was fabulous, well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We had two pasta dishes, Cacio Pepe and Bucatini Amatriciana. Both of them were uninspired and were not well seasoned. Very disappointing pastas.
So wonderful - great food & lovely garden. The 2 hour limit on dining time is awkward. Hopefully that will be able to
go away as things get more close to normal!
Birthday dinner for myself and twin and our server Alex was amazing! First time there and we’ll definitely be back! Amazing food and service
Interior needs updated. The patio is probably the way to go. Salads were great but the pasta just so-so. Server was super; she was attentive, but not overly, & very nice.
Such a great place for a nice date night! We loved sitting outside, the food and wine was amazing and our service was really great as well! Will definitely be coming back!
