We ate outside. Accommodated with heater. Tables a bit apart very comfortable. The panzanella salad was so delicious. I really wanted to ask for recipe for the vinaigrette. Our waitress was very informative and pointed out that one dish was spicy due to sausage but that meatballs could be substituted. Smaller wine list.
5 stars all around. The food was delicious!
Wait staff was above and beyond amazing and food was fabulous 10/10 for sure!
I had asked for my wagyu steak to be cooked medium and it came out medium well almost well done. Steak was ruined for $46. The scallops in my seafood linguine was very salty and my sausage pizza had a very sweet heavy drizzle on it. Big fat flies was an issue and nuisance during the entire outdoor dining experience. I’m sorry to say that this would be my first and last visit.
Food was delicious and service was great!
Family brunch during BottleRock weekend. Very loud acoustics so hard to talk. Very slow service, then the waitress left and never came back. One entree didn’t get made and another made wrong. Two drinks never arrived. The manager did come to apologize and gave a 30% discount. Just super disappointed after such a great brunch the day before in downtown Napa. We drove farther to eat here and it was a lot lower quality food and service.
Waitress was outstanding!! A pleasure!!
LOVED JENNA!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️ Beautiful space and awesome food.
Excellent experience in a lovely setting!
For the price point I felt like I was at a take our spot. Lightning was harsh and noise level like a cafeteria.
The Maitre De was awesome. He spent time at our table and poured great wine.
Celebrated our anniversary here. Sam took great care of us. It was convenient to have this restaurant onsite where we stayed. We had the veggie pasta which was good. Also had the eggplant parmigiana. It was a bit salty for my taste but the sauce made for good dipping with the bread. Not sure I would pay $7 for bread next time. I wish it was complimentary or at least more reasonably priced. Overall I’d come back given the convenience factor.
Enjoy the menu. Staff was attentive. I’d dine there again.
We were given a choice to dine inside or outside and chose the later. Very comfortable setting with excellent service provided by Sara. My headband had the seafood with linguine and I chose the veal. Both were excellent and would highly recommend this restaurant
Take Italian classics and add their own twists to make it unique. Both fried dishes (eggplant Parm and veal Milanese) were perfect - crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Rigatoni w lamb ragù and donuts for desert were great too.
Was absolutely amazing!!! I would recommend Olive and Hay to everyone! Everything was fantastic.
Fiona was amazing!
Absolutely amazing dishes, drinks, and ambiance. Would recommend this to everyone traveling to Napa
Great place for breakfast, good ambiance and attentive wait staff. Best lemon ricotta pancake!
We made a reservation via Open Table, which was super easy. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server who suggested an appetizer. Our server put in the order and the appetizer, Italian bread arrived within a few minutes. Our server never came back to take our order or
1 - when making reservation, there was ONLY 5:30 PM slot left. when there, it was almost empty!
2- Food was VERY SALTY. we ordered a salad (Italian,) and it was very salty. She brought xtra lettuce and sauce on the side. we added lettuce only, still salty! it was NOT the dressing, they just added salt. Same as the chibatta bread. too salty.
I ordered lamb rigatoni, it was good. I was told it is shredded lamb, but it was ground. it was OK.
The inside ambiance was almost like food court.
Service was great tho!
Our waiter Carlos was extremely attentive and friendly. We were seated promptly and the food was divine. Very pleased with the service and quality here. Will be coming again soon.
Anniversary trip to Napa and we found this gem of a place! I made the reservations based on the decor and ambiance and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food is. The linguini with seafood was perfectly cooked and pasta reminded me of homemade pasta in Italy. I would definitely dine here again when we visit Napa again in the future.
Breakfast was really good! I had the avocado toast which also had smoked salmon on it. Will definitely be back!
I went for brunch with friends. The patio was full so we sat indoors. Luckily, not many people inside. I had the Power Bowl, which was a nice mix of sweet potatoes, brussels sprouts, chicken apple sausage and eggs (which you can have however you prefer). Also tried a bit of the lemon ricotta pancakes, which were tasty with the berries they came with. And the vanilla filled Italian donuts with chocolate sauce were addicting. Great service, friendly staff...so overall a nice dining experience.
Food was great. Service was good but not great. They seemed at bit short staffed, but that is how the economy is right now. Atmosphere was great. Definitely would return.
The Yelp reviews we saw are very misleading. This is a typical hotel type restaurant. Very average food, mediocre nonprofessional service and Olive Garden atmosphere. Overall, other than a couple good points, I’d say this is actually on par with chain Italian restaurants such as Olive Garden, but they are charging Napa boutique prices. Will not return.
Experience was just ok. Food and drinks were not as good as expected or for the price. There was also an ultra religious, anti abortion convention happening in the lobby. I am disgusted that this hotel would promote this kind of harmful, closed minded rhetoric in 2021. No thanks.
We enjoyed our meal at Olive and Hay. The chicken was very tender and flavorful, the pasta dish served hot, salads satisfying. The waiter was very helpful and friendly. We were tired after a long drive and were happy to be taken care of in a friendly environment.
The entire resort seemed like it was built just to be a convention center. It’s in a very random, industrial space. Photos online are deceiving.
Food was a bit below par. Appetizer was strange (burrata with strawberry jam…) and food itself was nothing special.
Service was not good but it was because there was another large party present.
Overall, won’t return.
Food was amazing. Portions were surprisingly large. Ambiance was relax.
The atmosphere is pleasant, but the food is over-priced and lacked flavor. I sent one dish back because the Brussel Sprouts were charred. The second dish included overly salty bacon and bland eggs. Olive & Hay might be relying on the ambiance to make up for the food.
The food was so good we ate here four nights in a row
Staff was very accommodating and service was excellent. Sorry. This place lost its way during COVID. Food was disappointing even for a hotel restaurant. The resort is lovely but recommend traveling to downtown Napa for meals.
It is a beautiful setting with delicious food. We sat outside and it's lovely. Great, friendly and attentive service.
Our server Nick was fabulous and made some great suggestions. Will for sure return.
Just went for breakfast
A lot of HARD surfaces
I'm sure dining there for dinner would be very nosey if the morning crowd was any indication.
BUT it's the only game close to the the complex we were staying at.
Service was outstanding — our server Carlos was funny, warm, and attentive. We dined outdoors, and the ambiance was sophisticated but not fussy. The food was beautifully plated and delicious. I would definitely dine here again. Highly recommend!
I returned two nights later with my husband, and the experience was outstanding again. We dined indoors this time. The seating was intimate and comfortable. Our server Sarah was funny, engaging, and really talked through the menu with us. Everything was delicious, pizza, meatballs, beans. The beignets are magical.
Lovely Calabria pizza. Great Italian salad. Very mediocre Burger. The best part was the wonderful service by the lovely Fiona. Thank you!
Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere! The service was great
