While I hesitated because of the existing mixed reviews, I'm so glad we finally decided to give it a try. There was no address or map on open table and we had some trouble finding the restaurant because it's a big property and we turned right instead of left on entering. We were seated on the lovely patio, which on a Monday night was empty, yet had prompt service and our server, Jamie, checked in with us frequently. She was a big part of making our experience a good one. We asked for a substitution on the artichoke pizza, requested a taste of the only cabernet before ordering and sparkling wine from an unopened bottle ... all were delivered promptly and cheerfully. The wine menu was sparse (I was hoping for at least one choice of champagne by the glass). The pizza was perfection and the wine pours were generous. We will be back.

I think I had really high expectations since the ratings were really good. Food was good, it wasn’t anything too outrageous. Our pastas were just ok. We loved our appetizers much more. What really did it for us was the service, we felt that our server didn’t provide all the attention. We waited about an hour until we received our main courses. We ended being at the dinner table for 3 hours which would’ve been ok under any circumstance but not the service we expected for it being our 1 year wedding anniversary. Another thing to note is that when I made the reservation 2 months ago I made sure to specify it was our wedding anniversary and nothing was really done for that. They kept asking what the special occasion was which was annoying after I specified on the reservation. I was expecting a nice dessert plate in honor of our anniversary and that didn’t happen so what’s the point of asking if there’s a special occasion if there’s no acknowledgment ? Anyway, I never really write reviews but had to for this one because I feel like I owe it to the other costumers to be transparent. Not the worst but not the absolute best. Perhaps we just came on a bad night.

While my steak was delicious it did take us over 1.5 hours to get our food. I’ve never waited that long for food. My friends pizza came out cold bc it had been sitting for so long but the waiter made sure to get it remade. I would probably never go back.

Our dinner was absolutely delicious--in fact, we will be back in a couple of days and have the exact same thing!! Have eaten there before while staying at Vino Bella and will definitely decide to do so again.

We sat down at our table and it took about 20 minutes for our server to come to the table. We ordered some appetizers which came out quickly. The server did not return to take our order for a long time and only did so after we had to call him over. The service overall was horrible. The food quality was average at best and definitely not worth the price. It took about 40 minutes for our entree to come out which was a simple pasta dish. I would not recommend this restaurant. The dining experience was not pleasant, the service was bad and it’s not worth the price.

We loved our dining experience here. We ordered the Florentine Steak, a special during NYE, and it was delicious. We recently just came back from Florence and we have been missing the Chianina Steak, so this was a real treat for all of us. Service was also great, as our waitress was kind and efficient. Looking forward to coming back for the brussel sprouts as well!

Great ambience, clean, modern decor. Had the American Wagyu NY Strip steak- cooked medium. It was well seasoned and they did a wonderful hasselback potato. Also ordered the Big Italian salad, fresh & up level take on an Italian salad. Summer drink menu had great options and the dessert donuts were amazing- loved the dipping sauce. Service was excellent!

Very average but expected exclusive as price implies. 15 min for cocktail delivery. Salty bread. Teens rated pizza margarita less than average, pasta well, nothing special. Wife’s fish was dry. My “American Wagu” medium rare strip was medium at best and well, pretty tough. Safeway NY Strip “on special” quality maybe. Didn’t send it back because it embarrasses my kids. Finale, long wait for an Irish coffee without whipped cream…..Jeez…….I don’t mind paying well for good food and service. Did not find it at Olive and Hay.

We had a lovely evening. Our waitstaff was wonderful. It got a little chilly outside but there heat lamps and a fire pit which was very nice We started with the burrata and polenta bites. Both ridiculously yummy. My husband had the chicken cacciatore which was super hearty and flavorful. I had the steak and it was incredible. 12 Oz so very big and a side of potatoes. Finished with the Italian donuts which was a bit too sweet for me but my husband ate them all and loved them

Big Italian salad good & shareable. Crusted halibut & rigatoni were perfectly prepared. My favorite Chardonnay was available by the glass - Duckhorn. Server (Emily) was informative & friendly, manager came by to check in on us.

Food is ok. Mimosa are expensive and you only get a small glass for $16, not worth it: Service was slow, every time we needed something we had to call a different employee over to help us.

It's lovely place to enjoy and evening meal on the Meritage property. Our server, Andrew was knowledgeable, attentive but not intrusive. Their bruschetta with stone fruit was amazing! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his seafood pasta but sadly my porchetta was over cooked and dry, but the sauces were delicious. The atmosphere is understated which I enjoy. It was lovely to enjoy a nice meal and then stroll back to our room.

Outstanding authentic Italian meal and service!! Try the burrata appetizer, so delicious! Our server, Wilbert, was one of the very best servers we’ve ever had! He knew the menu intimately and guided us expertly! We chose woodfired pizzas for our entrees.

Beautiful restaurant. Lovely staff. Presentation of the food lovely. Enjoyed the coffee! Lemon ricotta pancakes and sausage were delicious as was the vegetable bowl with sweet potatoes, brussel sprouts and eggs! We always love this place!

My friend and I decided to do an all appetizer dinner and we had the crispy polenta, rustic bread, big Italian salad, and the buttata. The only thing that wasn’t a home run was the salad, there was too much dressing and the garbanzo beans add a strange texture to the salad. Our server Jamie she was amazing!

So impressed! The burrata was delicious and unlike any I’ve had, the American waygu steak was delicious, and the house made bucatini was perfect. Can’t speak to the wine/cocktails - we were running a half marathon the next morning, so didn’t want to overdo it on alcohol! Friendly staff, and beautiful dining area. It has an open kitchen, which isn’t everyone’s aesthetic.
