Brought to you by Angelo Leonforte, Olive & Angelo delivers to Brisbane an authentic signature of traditional Italian cuisine. We have a generous focus on catering to all diners. Therefore we have created a menu of gluten-free, vegan & traditional options. We proudly make all of our own pasta, including our gluten free & vegan pastas.     Best Italian I've eaten hands down. Angelo and the team are awesome, were very accommodating and did an outstanding job. Will definitely be back, and can't wait to eat at Olive and Angelo again!

    An absolutely fabulous restaurant....food... staff....setting...even the skating celebs eat there( Torville and Dean )

    As a repeat customer of olive and Angelo we booked and went there for dinner last night. We ordered gluten free focaccia with olive oil and balsamic vinegar as a starter. When we received our entree it was not bread like at all. It was thinner than paper and crispy like a prawn cracker. I have had many gluten free breads at Italian restaurants and never experienced something this horrible before- when we notified the staff that it wasn’t what we thought it was going to be and it didn’t taste right we were told that the manager whom wouldn’t even come to the table and talk to us would not be refunding us for the entree. We ordered a different entree and upon finishing dinner we paid $25 for this poor quality entree and $300+ for dinner. Very disappointing and expensive experience at a restaurant we usually love going to. The male wait staff we had was lovely but we won’t be back. In the current economy you should be treating customers with respect when they have a valid complaint and not like their money means nothing to you.

    It was a busy Friday night but the service was polite and attentive. The food was excellent & the menu offered a lovely variety. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was lively - similar to being sat at a small cafe in Italy.

    It was lovely to book in this restaurant, unfortunately it was a little noisy and we were seated near the kitchen area which had its own challenges. We were unsettled towards the end of the meal when the chef rather forcefully reminded a staff member that a meal had been waiting for 4 minutes to go to table. The ambience was fairly nice, portion size was a little bit too much for me and I was sadly a little disappointed with my Lasagna. The gnocchi was delicious and I would recommend that as a meal on its own. Unfortunately, my go to meal for any Italian restaurant is a lasagna and I was a little underwhelmed.

    As always, it was excellent. Fine food and service. First time for lunch. It was a bit less hectic, which was not a bad thing.

    Judging by how busy the restaurant was Olive and Angelo must be doing something right. While the ambience was great, the size of the restaurant and frenetic pace required to keep up with the service detracted from our experience. It took over 20 minutes for us to be seen by waitstaff once we were seated. The food (we all had a pasta dish) was overpriced for the quality. It felt like a production line, lacking the finesse and quality expected when paying between $40-$50 for a bowl of pasta. Even a pizza cost over $40. The cocktails were delicious - but at $25 a pop - again, hard to justify. Certainly not value for money, but maybe people are happy to forgo that for the vibrant atmosphere and cheery hospitality. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be enough to sway me to return.
