The food was to delicious, our server was a nice and very entreating fellow and all recommendations provided were absolutely amazing. A bit pricey but worth the effort.
The staff is very knowledgeable when it came to the menu. We ordered the cheese board, and it was a hefty delicious spread. The main course items were flavorful and great size portion.

This is a favourite local restaurant. The food is enhanced with the vinegars that are also sold onsite. Servers are always knowledgeable and professional. The accessibility is a real plus for any visitors with mobility issues. Great tapas and good brunch on weekends.
My boyfriend and I loved our dinner at OLiV - we both very much enjoyed our meals (Salmon for me, Lamp Chops for him), our server was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect for a nice night out!
Yes in fact I told a friend about you today and he looked you up on line right away. I was a very enjoyable lunch with my husband. We thought that we might return in the summer or fall.
Pizza of the day was spectacular, wild boar was also unforgettable. It was such a delightful experience; it was like we had the restaurant to ourselves!

First time in Niagara on the lake. Great food experience and loved the olives oil and wine pairing.
The ambiance, service, and cuisine work together to create an amazing dining experience. We started off with the sea food chowder, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. Next came the pistachio covered Atlantic Salmon. My date thought that it was a little drier than she cared for, but still enjoyed it. We paired dinner with a lovely Terroir Cabernet Franc. This restaurant should be on everyone’s must do list!!
Brunch was good but live music was far too loud making it very difficult to enjoy conversation at our table.

This is easily one of my favourite places! I have been here twice for special occasions. I love the ambience - it's quiet, calm, and it has the most beautiful windows overlooking a stream. My favourite appetizer from here is the goat cheese tart - such simple, delicious, and fresh flavours. You can tell everything is freshly made with quality ingredients. We also tried the the pizza and soup of the day, the gnocchi, the Thai fried chicken sandwich, the steak, and thr grand mariner panna cotta. Everything was amazing, except the steak - it was a little burned. I've also had the same server both times and she was so sweet and attentive, and thought of everything. The whole experience amazing... I can't say enough good things about this place and I can't wait to come back for a wine tour - will definitely drive the two hours for it!
I have been enjoying this restaurant for many years. The entire experience while dining there is always, never fails, to be outstanding. This is the one restaurant I know I am able to recommend to anyone with great confidence!!
The olive oil and balsamic was an interesting concept that translated well within the menu. Service and food was fantastic. The ambiance would have been improved with an updated design plan. Very little wall art, inconsistent lighting plan and a dated colour scheme made for a cafeteria feel instead of fine dining.

For our entrees we choose the Lobster Risotto and Chicken Supreme
The Risotto was delicious, with an abundance of lobster cooked to perfection.
Unfortunately the Chicken Supreme lacked flavour and uniqueness. It tasted like plain roasted chicken. Definitely not worth the value.
We also ordered the Carrot Cake to share. That was a mistake. There wasn't even enough for 1 person, 3 small bites and it was gone. We were expecting a substantial piece of cake. Very disappointing and added nothing to our dining experience.
We went here for valentine's day. The service was excellent. The food was fantastic. We had the charcuterie board for appetizer (definitely recommend). It was good portion for two and excellent selection. They also have an amazing selection of Olive oil (should be obvious based on their name), and balsamics. I think I could have just had bowls of it for dinner it was so delicious. I ordered the special (steak with scallops) and my wife got the New Orleans pasta. Everything was delicious and we are planning our next visit already.

I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. And, as usual, the ambiance was excellent, a wonderful place to sit and chat with friends and family. The service, as always, very personable, and professional. I started off with a great white bean soup, and topped that off with a gorgeous omelette. The trio, “Escapade”, provided wonderful, live background music, adding to the pleasure of dining at this restaurant. I can’t wait to enjoy their special Valentine’s dinner.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years! Today is Sunday brunch, with an amazing menu. The food, all of it, is always superlative. The ambiance, with a live jazz trio performing, is heavenly. And, the service super friendly, formal, and efficient. Yes, I definitely will be returning!! That is a no brainer in my books!
The food and service was very good. The pizza crust could have been a bit crispier, but the toppings were great. We split the Cajun pasta and it was exceptional.
This is a favorite spot! The menu is creative and delicious. We loved the fresh focaccia and oil/balsamic. Winter Jazz brunch on Sundays is a treat, but get your reservation in early and request seating at least halfway back from the musicians or it could be too loud to have a normal conversation.
We had another thoroughly enjoyable dining experience at OLiV's this past Friday. Had the New Orleans Pasta and it was cooked to perfection. We also had the Chicken Tetrazzini Gnocchi which was outstanding. Michelle, our server, was a pure delight. She was knowledgeable, professional, and very friendly. Will definitely add OLiV's to our regular rotation of "date night" getaway's.

As I have written on numerous occasions, I think this restaurant is fabulous in every sense of the word! The food is superlative, service outstanding, and ambiance just perfect for me. I have been returning to this restaurant for many, many years. Obviously, I highly recommend it for any occasion.
Excellent food and atmosphere
The food all tasted excellent. This restaurant is a part of a winery so they have a great wine list. The also produce their own olive oil and balsamic vinegars, which all of their dishes incorporate into some ways. They have a variety of tapas, entrees and desserts to choose from. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. The food came out quickly and was reasonably priced for the high quality. The decor and ambiance is beautiful as well.
Our lunch was delicioous, the wine good, the service was wonderful and the atmosphere was modern and warm, with tables well spaced. It allowed for good conversation over a delicious meal.
We will not return. We selected Strewn because it was close to our VRBO only 1.3 miles, and because we had visited a few times in the past,sat at the bar and enjoyed cheese and wine. We also toured the cooking school and figured this was a foodie destination. There was a band playing on arrival which was nice, there was a family celebration and a couple in the dining room. Not crowed at all. We ordered a tuna and salmon app. ,which was fresh and tasty. The mushroom asparagus app.. was a over dressed. Hubby and I ordered the strip loin steaks, which were very disappointing ! Both appeared gray and to be cooked under a broiler, the sides were very blah, The carrot was hard as rock, the one spear of asparagus...? For 45.00 plus for each steak ? Applebee’s could served up better. My daughters seafood pasta dish was asked for with the sauce on the side was drenched in oil. I also did not think the male server who sauntered over and sat down next to my daughter on the bench was helping with the total experience.It was only us at that time, the band had ended and we didn’t need any entertaining. I felt like the entire experience was dialed in from our server to the kitchen. It is a slow
time of the year and we got the “I just want to go on vacation “ hospitality experience.
OLiV is one of our favourite dining spots for our trips to the Niagara region. This chefs addition of olive oils and balsamic vinegars to the recipes on their menu offer a unique dining experience. Peter was our host during our recent visit and his personal approach and attention was very much appreciated.
I have been dining at this restaurant for many months now, both for lunch and dinner. As usual the food is exquisite, service impeccable, and ambiance appropriate for fine dining. This is by far my favourite restaurant in NiagaraOnTheLake!
Went to Niagara On the Lake in early winter so as expected, the area was not too busy. We had lunch and only 2 other tables. The food was tasty and service was great. You might imagine short staffing during low season but we never felt that way. The winery has great whites too.
Every dish was delicious! Service was excellent too.
We've been to Oliv at Strewn Winery 4 of the last 5 Fridays. The food and service are excellent, staff are very friendly and remember us, and the live music on Fridays is a great addition to the ambience of the experience. I highly recommend this location for couples for date night, or for groups looking to have a slow, relaxed dinner with conversation and great entertainment. A hit for sure!
