Beautiful restaurant with great food. We enjoyed everything - appetizers, main courses and desserts.
This is a chef who deserves to be famous.
This chef serves love on every plate.
The absolute best octopus I've ever been served; tender and tasty with smallish potatoes the size of large marbles with slivered asparagus and large dots of liquid condiments in just the right proportion of spicy and hot to complement the generous portions.
It is worth mentioning our wonderful server, Jorge, who gently guided us through this lovely meal with the surety of an experienced captain guiding a ship.
Our second course was the fillet of beef with mashed potatoes and asparagus.
The plating was artistic and delicious and the china serving pieces were gorgeous.
The restaurant is spare and modern with carefully chosen art and plants that enhance the space.
Dessert was a whipped tropical fruit combined with dark chocolate that was so good.
I love this restaurant! There was plenty of parking, the ambiance was beautiful and quiet. The food and the service was wonderful.
Excellent food and service. Perfectly cooked Jalea mixta. Portions quite generous. Amazing Pisco Sours. Perk: free street parking after 6PM.
The food and service were both amazing. We were craving ceviche, and it was awesome...highly recommend this place for some authentic Peruvian cuisine.
Agradable momento con un ambiente calmo y acogedor.
Mu husband’s drink (chica morada) had a toothpick that came out through the straw while drinking. It just made our experience a bad one, due we avoid to think to much if the drink was a recicle one.
Excellent service and cuisine!
Restaurant was fantastic! food was amazing and the menu was so unique...
Will definitely recommend to all...
A foodie paradise!
Excellent food and service!!
Very nice dinner. Food was fantastic. Very surprised it wasn’t busier. It’s a great place for a quiet dinner.
Our food was quite good but the kitchen could not get any food out. There was a full restaurant not eating at all. THe staff was not gracious, did not go around assuring people that there food would be out some time or another and when we asked for the manager he never appeared. When the food finally arrived it was good but not good enough for the wait time.
They did comp desserts but didn't even do that graciously.
I would not return.
Absolute worst meal I've had in a very long time. Nikkei ceviche could have been mistaken for soy sauce soup it was so heavily oversauced, although the tuna was fresh so still had good flavor. Pisco sours were also spot on and the highlight of the meal. Then came the mains where things went totally south. We had the chicken Saltados, Lomo Cucho, and Seabass Pescado a Lo Macho. The saltados at $22 was the least offensive. Chunked chicken with vegetables and white rice and strangely fries. The seabass $36 was clearly frozen for a while and completely flavorless despite being drenched in "mediterranean" sauce. The rest of the seafood in that dish was passable. The lomo cucho $42 was the low point. Basically 2 desiccated filet steaks about 1/2 inch think being passed off as filet mignon sandwiched between a concoction of rice and the chickpeas drenched in a brown sauce. To top it off it was served with waffle fries. I'm not kidding. This felt like someone was pranking us given it was recommended by the Ritz concierge. The very nice waiter at least comped a round of drinks. Despite the reviews and our concierge word has gotten out as we were the only people in the restaurant for the entire meal at 6 on a Thursday. It's also been that way for a while given there were 2 wait staff in the whole restaurant so not expecting a big crowd and I can absolutely see why. Avoid at all costs.
The food was excellent and fresh and well prepared. The portions were substantial. We shared the classic mixed seafood cerviche, I had the grilled chicken stir fry with vegetable and frites and my husband had the rice and seafood (similar to paella). Our wait staff was great, both friendly and knowledgeable. The wine list and cocktails were great.
We came across O'Lima by accident and we were so glad to find this gem. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and very tasty. Portions were good sized but not huge. We shared one of the scallop appetizers and the artichoke salad and then each had an entree, one fish and one meat.
Nos recomendaron unos platillos muy sabrosos muy buena presentación y calidad muy rico
A visit to Miami wouldn’t be complete without dinner at O’Lima. We love this restaurant! Chef German will make accommodations to suit your dietary needs. Delicious!
Dinner went amazing. Only criticism was that outburst food took forever to come even though we were the second table to arrive for the night. However, worth the wait. It was delicious and the service was fabulous as well.
Amazing food and service. Cant wait to go back.
Went on Valentine’s day with friends , the resturant had great reviews and the pictures looked great. The food was mediocre , we had the grilled ceviche which was recommended by the waiter it was covered by ranch dressing could not see the seafood. everything we ordered was drenched in heavy sauces , maybe we ordered all the wrong things but it was all recommended by the waiter. I would not recommend that restaurant for seafood lovers .
The service wasn’t great .
Horrible service, we waited 30 min to just get a glass of water after we had to stop a random person to get anyone attentions. We spent 2 hours there just because we spent all the time waiting for our food and beverages. No one paid attention to us was horrible.
Continues to be a consistently high quality, high touch, fine dining experience. Ceviche appetizers are amazing. Try the tropical fruit version for a real surprise. The entrees are imaginative, brilliantly prepared by German and his staff, and beautifully plated.
Very poor service, very noisy.
Food and service was great!
All around excellent experience!
Excellent service and delicious food
Excellent ceviche, probably one of the best tunas in town. Not crazy about the grilled octopus, was only ok, especially compared with the rest of our dishes that where amazing!
Absolutely amazing food every time.
Service and food were both excellent. Would highly recommend!
We always enjoy O’Lima and it’s excellent cuisine. Great environment for meeting friends. Decent wine. Excellent food!
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like to provide a five-star meal for guests, even for a classically-trained chef from NY who is a foodie elitist. Order a variety of
things to enjoy among you, and sample a bit from each, and I am sure your guests, as do mine
(including that chef) will want to visit this restaurant whenever they are in Florida.
We were a party of six. We all thought the food was Fabulous, the service and ambience also very good and very conducive for a special evening out with good company. Thank you O'Lima for a memirable evening.
They charge 20percent service
Wonderful! Great service and quality ingredients Perfectly cooked. It is a very special restaurant. The service is fabulous.
Delicious and well-sized dishes.
I tried and recommend: braised ceviche, scallops au gratin, octopus and duck fried rice.
The chef came to each table to introduce himself and to ask how was the food - very nice touch!
We all loved our meals. Great evening.
Delicious!! Highly recommend ❤️
Amazing food, great ambience, and excellent service!
