Excellent food and excellent service
The restaurant was not busy in fact only 3 tables for a Saturday night.
The food was not as good as times we went before. The octopus was tough. It was quite expensive which is fine for great food.
Don’t think we will return
The food was very good, there wasn’t many people there, so the service was great.
Food was excellent! The octopus and the tiraditos were to die for! The service was also excellent, they were very attentive.
Delicious food and terrific service. Very good wine selection. A definite keeper , will be back !!
We tried Miami Spice menu, where we are no able to choose what we would like.
The menu was Ok, the grill Octopus was excellent but my Tuna was a little bit sweet.
The food was ok, but the service was terrible! We ordered drinks that we never got. The server never came to check on us. My water glass was empty. They filled it while I was signing the check. It was hot in the restaurant. My husband ordered a beer that he never got. He want a scotch before his dessert andar came after.
Great food and excellent service. We went for lunch and it started out quiet but when we left it was very busy. Would love to try then for dinner because it seems like it would be popping during dinner. Highly recommended!
Food and service were exceptional- we will be back very soon!
Very good food and personal service. The pisco sour was a great opener drink and the “Cuatro Leches “ a great closer to the evening!
The food and the service (Erik) was very good. Ceviche, octopus and tiradito, excellent!
The food was amazing, we had to get samplers of everything because there were just so many options.
Best food I had in a long time
Food is absolutely delicious but the cost of the drinks were unbelievably expensive. My drink bill was more expensive than the meal. With drinks, plan on paying $250.00 ++. By the way, they include the tip so no real incentive for staff to be more attentive. It's too bad really because I did enjoy the food and ambience.
Great place in Miami!! Read bad reviews so we were concerned. Turns out the place was great! Def will be back
Lovely service, fantastic cooking with a huge number of options - we tried four dishes across the menu and were very impressed by every single one. This is a true gem in Miami.
Food is always delicious!
It’s sad when the service kills an experience to a point of no return. My son had to wait over an hour for his food to be told it’ll be more time. They messed up and didn’t react to trained damage control. I demanded the check to pay and they had the audacity to charge me for food that never came out. He said he’d call the cops. I said do it!
If you want despicable service, go there!
Very bad experience. The food is regular. The service awfull. We went last week 9 pm and the lady told us was closed, when the restaurant is open until 10pm. Today I make a reservation 9.15pm they were taking the tables away 10:01 they bring the bill and didn’t even ask us for coffee or dessert. The lady was very disrespectfull. You have better restaurants for that money and with much much much more better service.
I’m a proud Peruvian but was left so disappointed with the lack of attention and service I received last night. We had reservations but stood at the hostess booth for over 6 minutes without as much as an acknowledgement or hello. I had to flag down a waiter to be directed as to what table I could take (there were around 3 empty spots available). I then waited another 10 minutes to flag down another waiter to ask for menus. 10 more minutes passed and I finally was able to flag down someone else for a drink order. Once we got our appetizers, the waiter asked if we wanted dessert and had forgotten our entrees. The only saving grace here was their food. Overall good cuisine, which is not a hard thing to accomplish when eating any kind of Peruvian food. I’d like to say I’d be back but I’d much rather take my business elsewhere, where common courtesies exist.
I was very pleased with the appetizers as well as the main dishes. Great sauces with the Tuna Sashimi. I recommended the restaurant already to friends and family.
We swill be bback
Food was good. The service was not. Charged extra for vegetables to replace French fries in the dish without telling. Charged 20% automatic tip on the bill which was not deserved. Would not go back.
Ridiculously overpriced for the quality of food and service. Will not come back.
Muy rico. Buen servicio.
We dined at O’Lima on a Saturday night outside. As previous customers, we were familiar with the high quality of the food and authentic Peruvian cuisine. On this occasion we were introducing friends visiting from Peru to the restaurant. We were a table of 6. Unfortunately, the service was virtually nonexistent. Besides long delays in having a server take or bring our orders, numerous requests for water refills or requests for additional drinks were ignored. The server, seemed well aware of our dissatisfaction and when he brought the bill he said he would comp our desserts (that he assumed we already had, but in fact had been ordered earlier and had still not been served). To add insult to injury, our check already included an 18% tip amount. With the strains that the pandemic has placed upon many restaurants and hospitality businesses in general, I understand that service levels have declined, however if a business can’t deliver an enjoyable dinner experience or recognizes that it cannot properly staff its full table count, it should make those adjustments necessary to avoid situations like we experienced at O’Lima.
Food was excellent but service was below average. I didn’t feel I was welcome.
Service was horrible. Manager is non professional. Doesn’t trained to how to speak with the customers. Was very rude.
2hrs to bring the food they forward to place the order on apologies .,the comment was I hope you like the food celebration my wife birthday no comments. We asked for water refill to a 3 different waiter 45 minutes.
The food and service were good, but at the end, they charged a 25% tip in advance and with the credit card they ask you if you want to give additional tip!!! it's a disgrace how they try to make money!!! We WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THAT PLACE
Muy buena comida y atención, el lugar no condice con el precio muy alto
Too expensive for the food and ambiance. The food is good but overpriced.
Great restaurant, best passion margaritas!
the service was not friendly, we had a reservation and when we arrived we were waiting for the table while 4 tables were avilable. When I asked to sit us to the particular table, the guy sad it is only for 4. after 15 min the couple came without the reservation and they seat them to the table for 4. We were waiting for the water about 15min
Bad experience, the food was ok but the setting outside was not well thought and the experience for a $$$ is simply deficient.
We were also forced to pay 18% gratuity even though we were a party of two.
I do not recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food, excellent service, tres yummy all the way around!
Excellent for refined Peruvian cuisine. Been there before and will be there again!
The service is horrible.....will not go back again
I’m an American married to a Peruvian. I’ve eaten at several Peruvian restaurants in the USA, Europe and of course Perú. O’Lima has some of the best Peruvian food I’ve ever eaten. Will make this a place to eat each time we are in Miami.
