Ole Red Gatlinburg
Had an enjoyable time, good food, wait staff was prompt and friendly and entertainment was excellent. We will differently put this on our to do list next time we are in Gatlinburg.
It was a great atmosphere, highly recommend the Redneck Nachos. Make sure you make reservations if going in the evening.
Travel to Gatlinburg and a Friends birthday !
Awesome place to listen to live country music and the food was really good. We all enjoyed our visit. Blake did good.
Even though the food was good, I was disappointed that they did not offer side salads or vegetables for those of us that want a lighter menu option.
We had the best waiter I’ve ever had the pleasure being served by.
The funnel cake was delicious and could easily serve a large table.
Enjoyed evening everything good except reserved high top table and was told couldn't have one
Amazing food! Great atmosphere and good service. I have already recommended Ole Red to family friends visiting Gatlinburg in a couple weeks.
Food was great and wait staff so awesome. I use a walker and they made an extra effort to get us a great table!!
Food was over priced. Got the Champagne of Chicken and it was over cooked. It only came with a burnt brisket, no sides....waitress was great though.
Not a fan of the food. Or at least what I got. I got the bacon wrapped meatloaf and I was so excited to try it. But when I got it I was very disappointed. You could hardly tell there was bacon on it and it was more like a thin piece of Salisbury steak. It honestly tasted like a frozen dinner, it was awful. The bbq sauce on it was horrible too, way too sweet, left an awful after taste and gave me a stomach ache. They also drenched it in bbq which made it worse. Two others that were with me thought the same thing. We all loved the atmosphere which is why it was so disappointing that the food was so bad. We also got the bacon pickle deviled eggs and they were not good either, again you could not taste the bacon.
The food was delicious and the country act was great!
Food was awful! Over priced & drinks were ridiculously overpriced with no alcohol content! Super disappointed will not return.
I looked up ole red before booking a reservation a couple days before we were planning to visit. I was mainly excited for live music and the atmosphere. I looked up who would be performing the 8pm to midnight slot (which is when our reservation was set for) and it said "to be announced" .. I took that to mean someone would be performing, they just wernt sure who yet. So after a day spent exploring the smokey mtns we showered got dressed nice and went to a nice meal where we expected some live entertainment. To my supprise noone was performing which was weird bc I even mentioned to the waitress seating us that I wanted a good view and they never said anything. So that was a bummer. The food was ok overall. My husband's steak was overcooked and bland. My chicken was really good. The beer cheese mac n cheese tasted like cheese from a can. Not our preference. Overall I felt it would have been a better experince if we got what we were expecting with the live music.
We had a wonderful time at Ole Red Gatlinburg. The entertainment was fantastic, food very awesome and our waiter was sensational. Thanks for a great night out.
Fried chicken and okra were amazing!!
Service and atmosphere was great as well!
Loved it and will frequently come back. It was a great way to spend our 32nd wedding anniversary.
It was great food and had an awesome time and my wife loved it she said she was very happy it was her birthday
We were very excited to visit Ole Red in Gatlinburg, however, we were disappointed in the limited menu. Our food was warm and served seemed to disappear. We did however enjoyed the live music and atmosphere.
We were in for lunch and the nachos were outstanding along with the beer. We went back for dinner and had great seats, but our waitress didn’t know what they had for beer. We all ordered hot chicken and biscuits but it came plain and not hot. We had to wait for new chicken which was dried out and our tots were burnt. Nothing was taken off our bill, not even a free drink. So disappointed after a great lunch.
Hostess station was very unorganized. We had a reservation for 6:30pm on 8/21/19 for 2 people at a high top table and were never seated after waiting for 1 hour past our reservation time. We arrived at the restaurant at least 15 minutes early before our reservation time. The hostess said we would receive a text message when our table was ready and we never received such a text. We were sitting at the bar not even 10-15 feet away from the hostess station and never received a text message or an update on our reservation. After waiting for 1 hour to be seated we left the restaurant without being seated. We mentioned the long wait and the hostess said she tried texting us 3 times (which I don't Believe for one minute). The hostess was calling out verbally other guest parties by name when their reservation was up and we never heard our name called. Upon leaving we voiced our displeasure with the hostess and were not even offered to be seated soon even after our long wait. We ended up patronizing another establishment that had much better service than we received at Ole Red...VERY DISAPPOINTED, WILL NEVER RETURN!!
Very disappointed in my steak 16oz Ribeye half fat. Told waiter he did tell manager tell chef came to table saw my dinner took it back made s new steak but that one was not much better. Plus chef had to bring my soda for my dinner waiter never brought it to me. But they did try to make things better by comping my steak. Any another probably made reservations for August21 for up top patio for 2 people it was my birthday but they said they ended up renting whole up top for banquet and put us at regular table. All round my experience there was very disappointing had came all the way from Nashville to celebrate in new Ole Reds. And the help was very short and very annoyed with me. That's my review Sorry Blake Shelton but a very unhappy customer and will not return.. Thanks for your time..Becky S
Great restaurant with live music. Any fan of country music will have a good time.
Great place, great service, great food. Best birthday ever
The food was very good and our waitress was great! Conversation could be a little difficult at times due to the live music being a bit loud, but if you're there for the entertainment, it's fine.
The 1st night was so wonderful we had a great steak dinner and decided to come back the 2nd night for more fun after they treated my wife And I to a great evening. The 2nd night head wonderful entertainment they remembered us as we walked in the door and gave us great seating and the staff was very friendly
3 stars. The website changed it to four and I can’t fix it. Music was too loud can’t hear conversation. Food was average. Band was excellent.
Even though I can’t remember her name, our waitress was excellent. We only had poutine appetizer and drinks. Poutine was tasty and Black Bear and screwdrivers were very good.
Food was good as expected. Our server was not on spot. We ended up asking another server for our refills after our second request and still not receiving them. Our appetizer came 15 min after our meal and we had asked that it be canceled when our our meal was being served and the appetizers had not come out. Over all just a poor server. Won’t stop us from going back. This was s repeat visit.
WT was our waiter. He made our experience great! We would come again because of his hospitality. Michael Roberts was playing and he was wonderful also.
Thank you 😊
Absolutely enjoyed our server and our food was hot, came out in a timely manner and delish
We called a week in advance and requested balcony seating We were seated in the balcony but could not see the singer, It was extremely loud and could not ta;k to each other. The catfish wasn't fully cooked. over all it did not compare to Old Red in Nashville,
The champagne chicken crust was so hard you could barely bite it. With the half chickenn ($14.99), all you get is 2 biscuits (very good) and a small plastic ramekin of sawdust gravy (good). No sides were included; you had to order them separately, and they were around $7 each.
We was disappointed it was too pricey an didn't have a good taste , the people ,music an atmosphere were great
The steak was the worst piece of meat you could have served. 14 oz ribeye cut 1/2 thick and was as tough as a nail.
Very limited menu.. chicken and smashed potatoes were excellent. Burgers were nothing to brag about...
Great live entertainment but food is a little better than fast food.
We had such a blast!! Took my 10 month old and he loved the live music! Food was also great... We will for sure come back next time we are in town
We were so excited about the place because we love Blake Shelton. Anyway, it’s what I expected and that is a great thing. Our server, Tyler, was very down to earth and made us feel comfortable. He shared his news of eventually being a Father. Food was unique and delicious. Perfect portions. Music was great too! Enjoyed what he played. Thanks for a great time!
