   Despite being an Atlanta native, this was my first time at OVI and we were blown away by the food, the service (Stacy is FANTASTIC) and the ambiance. While the menu is limited, that makes your choices easy and each single dish is prepared to it's best taste. Smart!!

   Great place - only thing was they were out of crab cakes & that is the only reason we came. Our service was good, but somewhat slow. We had to ask other servers for assistance because we couldn't find ours. Outdoor seating was great!! Will still come back.

   Great service. I had left a note through Open Table when I placed my reservation advising that I would need to be out the door by a certain time, as my party had tickets to a concert that night and wanted to get to the arena at a certain time. The minute I walked through the door of Old Vinings Inn, they acknowledged that the would make sure our dinning experience was enjoyable and timely so we could make it to the concert on time. They did just that and it was highly appreciated!

   We went out to dinner with friends that we hadn't socialized with in a while. Our server, Maurice, was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some great suggestions. The food was excellent, and we had a very enjoyable time! My husband and I always love dining at Old Vinings Inn.

   This is one of my favorite places to eat. Food is always excellent and service great. Atmosphere wonderful. Crab cakes are especially good and the omletes are delicious.

   The service at Old Vinings Inn was excellent from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious with just an issue that the butternut squash risotto was too salty. It was rectified promptly. Everyone was professionally attentive. I would recommend sitting outside on a beautiful day. Highly recommend Old Vinings Inn. It is a quaint restaurant and fine food.

    EDITED: The owner did call me to address our concerns and make sure he understood what went wrong and what could have been done better. He was very sincere. We came for Mother’s Day brunch so I understand that it was a busy day. We had to wait in the crowded lobby 20 minutes past our reservation time. It took over 20 minutes just to get our drinks. Only half of the table of six received their appetizers. Eventually the other apps came out. Then we were able to order our entrees. Again, only three out of six guests were served. One entree had an issue. The owner did come pick it up and had it remade. The owner thanked us for our patience but the lack of value and the hair have turned us off of what used to be a favorite.

    The upstairs bar and live music were amazing! The bartender was fantastic!! The lady serving was a little sketchy looking and also couldn’t figure out how to split our bill so it took forever to checkout and she never did figure it out so we just split it among us.

    We thoroughly enjoy our dinners. As always,the ceasar salad is the best available in this area; and the “sweets and beets” salad a unique treat. Service was exceptional. Our experiences here for many years were nothing to write home about. But this now a thoroughly upgraded establishment and well worth frequenting.

    It has been 25 years sense my last visit and I can honestly say, it will be another 25 before I go back! Was not at all as good as the first visit. Food was average, they sat us on the enclosed porch( was a chilly gloomy day). Zero ambiance, not a place in my opinion to go to celebrate any occasion. The Old Vinjngs Inn charm was just a cover up for old and tired!
