In the quaint & historic town of Vinings, Old Vinings Inn is steeped in fond memories and heritage. Our house has served many functions in its past - a post office, a general store, a filling station - and for the last 25 years we welcome you into our home celebrating life& milestones or just simply an elegant, gracious, and tasteful Southern dining experience!

We serve classic Southern fare like our famous Buttermilk Fried Chicken and Shrimp & Grits plus amazing modern Southern cuisine prepared with locally sourced ingredients by our Executive Chef. Visit our Attic Bar for live music Thursday through Saturday nights!

    LIVE ENTERTAINMENT IN THE ATTIC BAR - please see schedule on live music page of website for performances! The Attic Bar features unique live entertainment featuring local music, comedy shows, and more! The bar opens at 5 pm Wednesday-Saturday and our full dinner menu is available there during those hours. Seating is limited, so reservations are suggested and walk-ins are accommodated when available. Tickets are $5 per person and a credit card is required to reserve them. Credit cards are charged for reservations post event or upon cancellation the day of the event (walk-ins are charged upon admission based on availability).

    So this is an absolutely beautiful place however, I think the brunch was OK. What was especially upsetting is they overcharged for different items on the menu. They shouldn’t overcharge you should be able to choose three options and that’s that. It definitely was not worth almost $300 for three people.

    Had the same entree twice in the last week. The first time, it was great. Last night, it was mediocre. I have been coming to OVI for over 40 years and always lok forward to it. This was disappointing.

It is most appreciated when our guests alert us to issues while dining with us instead of writing a bad review after you leave. While we strive for a perfect experience for every guest, every day, we own any mistakes or missteps. Allowing us to make it right before you leave can create an even more memorable and excellent experience for you.     We enjoyed an excellent evening at the Old Vinings Inn. Our table in the sunroom was just right for our group! The food is consistently delicious and perfectly prepared. It’s high quality, inventive, but not pretentious. Several in our group had the trout which was outstanding. The salmon and the short rib were also amazing! Service from Oscar was top-notch! We love this place!
