It was a great dinner. The server and ambiance were warm and the southern comfort meals were delicious.
Our visits with daughters and grands usually end with Brunch at Old Vinings Inn. The menu is fantastic, the service impeccable, the food delicious. Special place!

Lovely dinner for our anniversary on a Monday night. food and cocktails wonderful. excellent service
Everything was wonderful - save the food came out cold. That might have been a one-time issue, so would definitely try / recommend the Vinings Inn and give it another try.
WE were disappointed that we could not get a entree serving of the crab cakes. WE had a very special wine that we brought to have with the crab cakes but had to take the appetizer presentation. They were ok but did not seem to have the same amount of lump crab that we remember from our visit a year ago. Plus without the corn chowder it was lacking.
This is a reliable and lovable date night spot! Everything was wonderful!
Food was delish!
Fun date night!
Great as usual!
Everything was cooked and prepared perfectly and our service couldn’t have been better!
Restaurant was not busy for a Friday night, which was unusual for Old Vinings Inn. Restaurant was dirty with stains on walls and in need of repair. The food was sub par, fried green tomatoes were hard, crab cake was chard. Beers were warm but the server went out of her way to try find colder beers. Had floating debris in beer glass. The fried chicken was cold, grits were hard and had no flavor. The pork chop was under cooked, sent back, second was under cooked but not as bad, was very salty, Mac and cheese was very cold. We have dined here many times in the past and this was the worst experience we have ever had! We will never be back. I recommend guess going to any other restaurant in Vinings if they want to have a pleasurable experience.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your dinner with us Friday. I am very sorry your recent experience fell short and shared this information with our culinary and service teams to improve on that. I hope that you will give us another opportunity in the future (since you have dined with us many times before and had great experiences). Please phone me at the restaurant before your next visit so that we may ensure your next visit is perfect. Warm Regards, Lee Schulman, Proprietor
Nothing like an old house and Southern hospitality and charm. Very unique place to take my friend from New Orleans.
Enjoyed our experience!
Loved restaurant week menu!
There was a special event party going on in the room next to where we were dining. The noise was so loud that it was very hard to hold a conversation with the person sitting next to me. They had the door shut but people kept on coming out through the door and the door was not much help of keeping the noise out. The food was great and the pricing was right, however the party going on in the next room disrupted our dinner
The service and food made it special!
First time for brunch and the atmosphere, food, and service were great. It’s a great change from the same old same old.
Loved the menu and food! Service was attentive and not overbearing. We will be back!
Good and service were spot on. Generous portions and tasty!
I was first concerned when my party of 4 walked in and saw only 3 other tables of guests on a Sunday evening at 6:30. I ordered the bone-in pork chop and the waiter came back shortly thereafter to tell me that it had been replaced by a sliced pork loin; very disappointing. I asked for recommendations of other dishes and he was a bit skeptical. I wound up ordering the red fish, a very small portion almost undercooked and fairly tasteless. A dining partner ordered Fried Chicken which she said was quite tasty. Another dining partner ordered beef stroganoff which came out surprisingly atop elbow macaroni. The best part of the meal was dessert,;the brownie with candied bacon was amazing. A Dining partner ordered collard Greens and they were so salty, you could not eat them. Don't know that we will visit this establishment again.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your dining experience Sunday evening. I am very sorry that we fell short with our offerings and presentations. I have shared this information with our chef and manager as well. I hope that you will give us another opportunity to make a positive impression and hope that you will contact me directly at the restaurant so that I may ensure your next visit with us is perfect. Warm Regards, Lee Schulman, Proprietor
We had a wonderful dinner and service but could not understand why we were seated right next to another party of four when there were plenty of the same size tables available throughout our entire time there. It would have been a much more pleasant experience if both tables were able to converse more privately and also have a little more space.
I have eaten at Old Vinings Inn on several occasions. Unfortunately on this visit we brought friends who we wanted to enjoy the same dining experience we had had in the past, and our service was very slow, the food was just mediocre and we ended up having our dessert and appetizers comped with no charge due to the negative feedback we had to communicate. I won't be going back, at least not anytime in the near future. The food has declined and so has the service. A thumbs down for me.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your dining experience. We are very sorry our food and service failed to exceed your expecations. I have shared your feedback with our chef, general manager, and your server. We will use this information to improve and hope that you will give us another opportunity to put our best foot forward. Please reach out to me at the restaurant when you do so I can ensure your next visit is perfect. Warm Regards, Lee Schulman, Proprietor
Great specials and service. Never had to ask for anything and wasn’t rushed.
My husband and I celebrated our 9th anniversary there and it was wonderful! They could not have been nicer or more attentive. Our food was DELICIOUS (we had the flank steak and fried chicken), and I highly recommend the bacon brownie sundae. The only drawback (which is our of their control), is the traffic situation. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get over for dinner reservations. We're looking forward to coming back.
Efficient and professional service. Great menu choices and delicious food.
I had a 7:30 pm reservation and from the minute we sat down, we were being rushed to leave. They didn’t have most of the items on the menu from their signature crab cake to wines. The waiter asked us if we needed anything else bc the chef was leaving. It was only 8:30 pm at night. I’ve been going here for years and will never go back. I was embarrassed as I was taking business friends out and was in charge of booking a restaurant and I made a poor decision in going to Vinings Inn.
Thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. I am very sorry our service didn't exceed your expecations and have shared this feedback with our staff to improve the food and service we deliver. I hope that you will give us another opportunity to put our best foot forward since you have dined with us many times before and please reach out to me directly so I may ensure your next visit is perfect. We went there to celebrate my husband's bday. Great food and ambiance.
Great food, great service, and a great time! My husband and I went here for a date night and had a great time. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Last minute get together with business colleagues. Great food and service. Great place for a business dinner.
Blackened red Fish was great as was the fried chicken and Trout. The Peach salad was really flavorful and seasonal with fresh peaches.
