Dinner for our 30th year anniversary. Fantastic food and service!
Love the comedy nights and $6 bar snack menu
Wonderful evening! Great service, drinks and food. Teally enjoyed dinner and the time after in the upstairs bar listening to music, and getting to know the staff. Highly recommended!
Excellent food, excellent service. Great dining experience
At dinner in the attic far. Great live music!
Last minute get together with business colleagues. Great food and service. Great place for a business dinner.
Blackened red Fish was great as was the fried chicken and Trout. The Peach salad was really flavorful and seasonal with fresh peaches.
excellent and attentive service start to finish
The food and service was outstanding. With a visit for brunch if ever in the Vikings area.
Food was very good, just not exceptional. Ordered beignets as an appetizer that were cut very thin thus making them very tough. The waiter admitted that they weren’t up to par when he brought them to the table. They charged us for them anyway. I would advise them not to bring them out in the future. All in all, very pleasant atmosphere, good service, and the food was good.
This is a great restaurant that keeps getting better. Food and service are consistent and excellent.
The service was substandard; disappointing. Servers were "MIA." Never were we offered refills on cocktails, iced tea or water - had to ask every time. No offer for bread (and that is a charge item - you would think servers would want one to order...). I am a business person, and I must say the servers are leaving money on the table plus leaving a poor customer service experience. BTW, there weren't that many people at the restaurants when we were there.
Wonderful food, wonderful service and a beautiful venue!
We had a delightful server! She was fun and passionate about the food and loved making suggestions!
We had a great time!
Will definitely go back!!
Really enjoyed our dining experience!
Great menu! One of us is vegetarian and they had a nice offering of vegetables and salads.
Love the new menu items!
Wonderful food good service!
Nice service and very tasty food. The collard greens and grits were the best!!!
Great food and service. Love the new items and cocktails!
Our waiter was outstanding! The food was excellent and super quiet tonight. A great time for two long-time friends to catch up!
Enjoy this restaurant every time we visit. Great ambiance and tremendous service.
I was the only one upstairs in the bar and Rick chatted with me periodically and remained incredibly attentive all the while he was taking care of other things. Had the fried chicken with collards and grits and it was outstanding.
It was delicious and great atmosphere
Non-plussed, reservation was noted that it was our anniversary, staff wad cordial but indifferent. Really nothing special about the evening. The Attic Bar was way too crowded for the space, band was awesome though.
Really great menu. Been many times and everything I’ve tried has been excellent. Portions are very generous and usually have enough to take home. Great wine list with many selections at reasonable prices. Service always very nice.
The food was good. But we were made to sit on your hot porch which was unpleasant. People next to us created a stir when two of the three wanted to eat off the third one ‘s plate thereby avoiding payment. It was an uncomfortable encounter with thugs.
Unfortunately, I don't think they were prepared to handle a buffet. We had to wait on everything (which is crazy because it's a buffet - what are the servers doing) 2. We had to continue to tell them they were out of items on the buffet and that some of the food was cold. Very cute place and maybe we'll try again when it's just a regular meal and not a special occasion at 45.00 per person........
Food portions were way to small for the money. At that price and with that quantity it should have come with a salad or soup or something.
Delicious food and great service. Really good value and love the new ice cream pie!
Some of the food came out cold. The manager was informed, but waitress never came to check. Obviously, manager did not tell waitress. Only paid for properly prepared food and drinks. Will not go back.
Thank you for providing this feedback and we are very sorry the food wasn't hot when it arrived. I am glad we removed the items from your check and we have shared this information with the kitchen and service teams to improve our execution. Again, thank you for sharing this information.
Dined here many times and the food and service are consistently wonderful. I loved the new bar snacks and specials!
I don’t know what happened to this place. It used to have great food and great service. The last two times I’ve been there it’s been a plethora of issues. This time, they were out of all their signature items by noon and then on top of that, the fritters that are Another brunch staple of there’s had been changed out for “crab fritters” which were just mini crab cakes and double the price. No beignets, no candies bacon, they didn’t even have sausage. The waiter was getting tired of having to come back and tell us what he didn’t have and even started to make a joke out of it. I took a friend from out of town there, kind of unfortunate this will be his last memory of brunch in Atlanta when I could have easily gone to canoe or south city or some other place with consistent brunch. I won’t be going back.
Thank you very for sharing your experience with us. We are sorry your recent visit fell short and shared this information with our team. When we are out of an item it is often because we check each item daily and remove it from the menu if it is not up to our standards for any reason. While that isn't desirable or an excuse, we believe that is a better alternative. Please call me directly if you wish to return so that I may personally see to your next visit.
THE TROUT WAS EXCELLENT,THE BLODDY MARY WAS ON POINT, OUR SERVER WAS AWESOME, THE ATMOSPHERE WAS PERFECT.
Delicious brunch! Really great food and service.
Awesome food. Really great service.
My husband and I loved dining at the Old Vinings Inn when we lived in Atlanta in 1996. We recently visited our granddaughter who moved to Atlanta in January and recreated our dining experience with her. It did not disappoint! We even had our favorite table.
It was great be able to share a wonderful moment from our life with our granddaughter 23 years later.
Great food, great atmosphere. The waiter was very informative with a great sense of humor.
We went to Old Vinings Inn for Mothers Day Brunch and we were not disappointed. Our table for 8 was well appointed and they were very accommodating for my elderly and handicap mother-in-law. For the price you got a large selection of amazing food. Our reservation was at 3:45pm and some of the food was low in quantity and the only downside was the lamb was very tough. Other than those two items, we had a wonderful time and have always had an amazing experience.
