As always, The Old Vinnings Inn was nothing less than we expected. Awesome!
Another great evening at the Old Vinings Inn. Food was wonderful!
Menu is outdated, serving fall type menu items. Waiter could not describe menu items, valet parking was not professional.
Great place for a special occasion. It was our two year anniversary. We had the shrimp and andouille fritters which were delicious. The salmon was cooked perfectly for my wife. I had the beef stroganoff which was amazing.
Old Vinings Inn is one of my faves! Good food & great service! I would totally recommend it.
Food was amazing, came fast and delicious. The cocktails we ordered were the best]]]]. But the cherry on top was the service, having our waiter speaking Spanish to my Colombian friend and French to my swiss girlfriend, was amazing, he made everybody feel at home, answered every question about the menu and recommended the Porkchop that was delicious!
Love old vinings. Food and service always excellent!!
We came early for brunch on Saturday and it was actually really a treat. The French toast tasted great and the ambiance and atmosphere are much to be desired. Our server got a little weeded at the end but he was still a very excellent server. The manager even stopped by to make sure we were enjoying everything.
The patio was completely dirty and both the windows and doors are broken. Having a reservation made absolutely no difference in seating.
This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is always amazing and the service and ambience are great.
My wife and I had a great time. The food was great. Our server could not have been better. She was just terrific. The manager we met took care of us. The Valet Parking was spot on. Our table and spot was just perfect. Very quiet! We just had a great evening. We could not recommend the Old Vinings Inn enough. Libby and I have nothing but great experiences every time we have come.
The food as always the best and the services
Víctor was once again “ the Best “
I would recommend due to the quality of the food and service!!!....however, the place needs some TLC....I was really disappointed in the appearance of the attic bar. I have not been here in several years, but I am not sure I would go back. It was sad to see the lack of attention to the building itself....
I went in for brunch and it was just ok for me. I will try the dinner menu at some point in the future.
This place was a suggestion via the local tv show “Atlanta Eats”. Food was not what I expected. Food came to the table Luke warm and the presentation of the food didn’t match the great atmosphere. Kudos for the ambiance and atmosphere at the upstairs at. Just not what I expected. I would still recommend this place to others but mostly for the atmosphere and the ambience not the food.
Old Vinings Inn is a quaint, charming restaurant with delicious food. Their fried chicken is the best and so are their fried green tomatoes. We had excellent service and a small room to ourselves which was great for a party of 8. The price was reasonable and valet parking a plus. We will be back!
Fri. Evening at 600 pm was a bad choice. Normally the food is great, but I was not impressed this evening. It was early, we were the only customers, perhaps the chef wasn't warmed up yet.
Haven’t been here is years and my meal was excellent! Will be coming back for the salmon soon!
Ask for the Bear Room! Fried chicken was a little dry, but the collard greens, fried green tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, salmon, meatloaf, filet mignon, and bread pudding were all excellent.
They were out of a number of entrees which is abnormal, usually a great dining experience, wonderful service at the attic bar and everyone on the main dining floor.
Very nice place. Food was very good!
Food was good. Just seem to need a greeter at the door.
Great service and the food was excellent. Everyone in my party loved their entree. My steak wasn’t cooked correctly but everything else was great.
We came in for a business dinner and everyone absolutely loved the restaurant, everything from our servers Victor and Taylor, to the food, the ambience, etc. Such a wonderful place! We will be back, whether for business again or private dinner.
Lisa waited on us in the Attic Bar and she was fantastic
Food, ambiance and service were great. We started with drinks in the attic bar and then dinner on the porch, which was very enjoyable. After dinner a band was playing in the attic so we were able to go back for some great entertainment. Highly recommend.
I had organized a birthday brunch for myself & it was the best weather to have been on the patio with girlfriends while we enjoyed the amazing food & mimosas!
Food was delicious, Victor is a great server, very knowledgeable about the wine and food they sell. We will be back soon
My sister and I came to celebrate my birthday. Easily made a reservation thru OpenTable and even modified it day of with ease. Lisa was our amazing server and was very helpful and personable. She gave great suggestions and even sang happy birthday to me while bringing out the dessert. Looking forward to coming back.
Visitors from Baltimore. They enjoyed their experience.
Very lovely experience in the heart of the Vinings. Great meal and excellent service.
The ambience was wonderful & the noise level was low and conducive to talk without shouting. The food was wonderful and our waitress was very friendly and helpful
Great overall experience. Started in the attic bar, then dinner in the restaurant. Back to the bar to listen to a great band.
We were so grateful to celebrate my mother’s birthday here. The food was absolutely lovely. The service was attentive and personal. We all had such a lovely time and look forward to our next visit!
This was a cute place and the staff was obviously proud of it. My only complaint was that when we went for the Valentine's dinner on Sunday night, they were out of a lot of specials even though it wasn't late. What I got instead was the lobster dinner, which everything was really good, so I'm not too upset about it. Also, the staff was very accommodating. Would like to go back again.
I arrive at the V Inn before my reservation time, and they took us early. Great! However, that’s where the experience ended. We waited 15 minutes to be greeted, and additional 5 or more to get water. We ordered our apps and food.... and the apps cam out with our food. Some of which was cold. Although my experience wasn’t great, I’m willing to try again, because the staff apologizes and that turkey sausage was amazing.
Thank you CaCa for dining with us and sharing the details of your experience. We are very sorry that our timing and food quality fell short on your last visit. Please reach out to me or our General Manager Ryan before your next visit so that we may ensure your next visit is perfect. Warm Regards, Lee Schulman, Proprietor
The waitress was awful, she mumbled and totally forgot about us leaving the room for over 20 minutes twice. She took orders from two tables that came in after us, leaving us over 35 minutes before taking it. Took 10 minutes to get our drinks. The eggs Benedict’s were actually cold when we received them and while we were comped the beignets 5 were hot the 6th was cold and hard so obviously left from a previous order.
Since other tables were being tended too regularly I must surmise all of this was the waitresses failure at her job. She appeared to be half asleep when she was there so maybe she had a very late night.
I hope for the restaurants sake this was an anomaly and they are better than this normally.
We won’t be back though
Thank you Christine G for reaching out. We are very sorry for our missteps with your food and service. We have shared this information with our culinary and service teams to improve our performance. Also, our General Manager has now reached out to you directly to invite you back. We hope that you will give us the opportunity to put our best foot forward. Please contact Ryan or me so that we may personally see to your next visit. Warm Regards, Lee Schulman, Proprietor
We had an excellent experience at the Old Vinings Inn. We had our pre-teen (foodie) kids with us and they loved it too. Our server was Bryan and he was fantastic. The valet was equally as kind. We will be back.
Had an amazing dinner here for Valentines day. Our waitress, Lisa, was great. She was friendly, funny, welcoming, and made us feel as if we were regulars, even though it was our first time ever here.
