Old Town Pour House - Oak Brook
Guests can expect a vibrant and upbeat atmosphere. The inviting interior lined with custom-milled woodwork harkens back to classic bars of the past, paired with modern amenities like a number of flat screen TVs, including one wall-mounted 103" behemoth. Cozy booths, high-top and communal tables, and a bar that runs the length of the room all add to the charm that is Old Town Pour House - Oak Brook.
Valentines Day with my husband and our two children. It’s a family friendly environment. The food was good. I’d go back again.
Awesome waitress.. patient..funny.. and good service!
My Salmon was best ever with delicious vegetables.
My husband thought burger was ok nothing out of ordinary
The place is great but they didn't have the table reservation setup. We had to wait around 20 mins for a table. Kind of defeats the purpose of a reservation...
We had a group of 10 and they have a separate table in the back that is more private. It was a perfect location. Our server was okay. She did not seem to know how to deal with a large party in terms of taking drink orders as the people came in. Food came out without much issue, except that it was not to temperature for some items. The event was for my fiancé and me to ask our friends to be a part of our wedding party. So it was a special day for us.
Great bar food!
Very vibrant bar, extensive beer list with lots of local breweries as well. Food was good and great for a nice dinner if you don't mind a little bit of noise.
Great food. Great service.
Everything was phenomenal! Not too loud and not too quiet! Thank you for making my birthday so special!
Food was incredible and it was a nice, adult atmosphere. Overall, great experience.
Chili is excellent
Wonderful manager! Made our anniversary dinner super special. Enjoyed the food and service very much.
Service was excellent, but the food portions were skimpy for the high price. I’ve been to fancier restaurants and paid the same price for excellent and unique dishes.
No one confirmed the birthday resquest
Food was very good, but service not so much. Had to look for her for a simple refill on the Iced Tea we had. Couldn't find her for the bill and it wouldn't hurt if she tried to smile and maybe say thank you.
Have had multiple great evenings here. Food is great, service is great and they have great house beers on tap.
Horrible food and terrible service. Used to be an outstanding place to go. Not anymore.
The people I went with were vegans. They enjoyed the food. I am not vegan, food was ok. Needs a steak entree or a steak sandwich. Server was really, really wonderful!
Great good great service great beer!
Great ambiance to grab a couple beers, watch sports. Over 90 beers on tap, service was great
Wonderful place. Great good at a reasonable price.
Great service, very friendly and accommodating, plus the food was outstanding. There were six of us and everyone enjoyed their food
Got a reservation for New Years the day before when plans fell through. Got seated as soon as we arrived, our server was fast and attentive with out being intrusive and food was excellent. Wonderful beer list as well!
Had great service and food early New Year's Eve! I am vegan and they were very accommodating.
Had dinner with the family in New Year’s Eve. Food was great. Atmosphere was good, we went early with kids and fit in well. Coming back for sure.
Excellent service. Timely manner. No pressure to leave. We will be back.
New Years Eve
I always enjoy their extensive beer and ale collections. Definitely a step up from typical pub fair, I've had their full entrees before and it was always prepared well. A great burger also--olive oil, parsley and garlic fries are to die for. Service is always very pleasant and our server this go 'round was very attentive and nice on a busy "bears game" night.
Duck nachos are fabulous!! All four of us enjoyed plates we ordered. I don't drink beer but have a great selection if I did.
Service and food was good but neither the hostess, management or the server acknowledged our Godson's birthday (which I had noted in our reservation). That was a bummer as a lot of restaurants do acknowledge a special occasion.
Vest whiskey selection around. And we both enjoyed our meal.
Every thing was good but there is no healthy appetizers. That is a big negative.
Food was good. Service was slow.
Our reservation was for a Family birthday celebration. We keep coming back, its got a great casual(ish) vibe. Our servers have always been wonderful, and efficient. I'm sure we'll be coming back soon. Thank you
We had a good experience over all, but the kitchen was a bit slow with our group's food. When we got the food it was delicious.
I did arrived at the Pour House on time for my reservation. we gave the info to the person up front and later someone came back to our table from the front desk to confirm our reservation.
We were there for lunch. Wide variety of wine, beer, and other libations. Food ordered from menu was very good.
It was the first time I was there and I enjoyed it very much.
It was some of the best dining that I’ve ever had. Service was great and food was wonderful
We've enjoyed this place in the past, but this time not at all. We had a Sunday lunch there with friends we don't see often and wanted to "catch up" - forget about hearing conversation at your table when they have sports on the TV's. The volume was way too high as is the music they play when the TV goes to commercial break.
I asked for the volume to be turned down and the server asked the manager, who did take it down a bit, but it still interfered with normal conversation. We ended up shouting to be heard 3 feet across our table.
The food was very average and came out cool - a real no-no. I personally had the Lamb Pastrami sandwich that looked great on the menu but when it came it was very well done and very dry. When I asked the server if they all come out so well done she shrugged. I asked if it could be cooked medium rare and she said "probably" - never asked if I wanted to return it for a medium rare sandwich or change my order. Our drinks went dry a few times and where refilled when we finally put them on the edge of the table so she could "catch on".
I rarely give poor reviews but this time I had to warn others to expect a loud atmosphere, food that the chef should never have let out of the kitchen and sub-par attention from staff.
Our server seemed uninterested and did not know the menu. We brought bottles of wine for our own table service and she broke the cork in the bottle and handed it to my husband so he could fix it. Not impressed. Definitely more of a bar, not midscale at all.
