Came in to have few drinks and watch college football. They were busy and I feel like they were short staff, however the service were very good. I saw the manager was helping out everywhere. Wings were the best. I like the smokie flavor.
We went for brunch, had a reservation. Our server was very nice, personable, but they were apparently really short staffed so everything took forever, even though they weren't (seemingly) that busy. Bar drinks were served literally when the food came (at least 30 mins after we ordered). Food was mostly ok, enjoyable enough, maybe a bit overpriced for the quality. The bar mixed up the drinks, and one of our meals was not right so they made a new one and it was comped, since it came out when we were ready to leave.
The drinks menu was very very limited than what it usually is
I love it that we can make reservations and they normally reserve a tablet for you
Very good food service not great. The waitress must’ve been new
It was good but the service could be improved. The waiters took long time to serve beer/food.
Water was never refilled.
Our favorite Brunch spot! Open on Saturday and Sunday at 10:00 for Brunch.
Great menu and everything we have tried is wonderful. Nice outdoor seating gets the early morning sun. Lots of seating , no wait and the service and food is always prompt
Arrived at my reservation time. Guest and I were seated and sat for ten minutes. Someone finally brought over water and sprinted away. Waited another 5 minutes and got up to leave. As we were reaching the door the hostess said “where were you guys sitting? I didn’t even see you.” Wtf?
Lovely late summer evening on the patio. Not crowded. Food was good. Lots of choices on the menu. Stayed and chatted with an old high school friend until closing time. Waitress was very cheerful and attentive.
Another wonderful mean at the Old Town Pour House!
I rarely write reviews. I’ve never written a negative review, but this story needs to be told. The Old Town Pour House offered the absolute worst service I've ever experienced and they weren't even particularly busy. My friend and I got a table on their patio. The setting is nice enough. We ordered. I asked for a garden salad and the tuna tacos. When our food arrived they brought me a garden salad and a tuna salad, and no dressing for the garden salad. I explained the entrée was wrong and asked about dressing. The server replied, “Oh, did you order dressing.” No apology for the mix up on the entrée. This was my first indication of where we were headed. So my friend has his food. I only have a salad and no dressing. I could see my friend wasn’t sure if he should eat or wait. I told him to go ahead and eat. About 10-15 minutes later, the server finally brings dressing. It’s the wrong dressing. Also, the server explains the tuna tacos actually aren’t available. “Okay, please bring me the dressing I ordered as soon as possible and I’ll take a bacon cheeseburger.” About 10 mins later the correct dressing finally arrives, but still no cheeseburger. My friend is nearly finished eating by now. Another 15 minutes pass and my entrée finally arrives with little more than a passing apology. The food was fine, I’d even say pretty okay for what it was. At the end of the night we asked for the bill to be split. Nobody offered to comp us anything, nobody in management ever came to check on us. The bill arrives, they had charged us both the full amount of the bill. We were in a bit of a hurry at that point and didn’t realize the error. I called the next day to explain the billing error. The person I spoke to was helpful and quite apologetic, but still no offers to comp anything. I still have not seen my credit card refunded. It’s been 2 days, so I’m thinking tomorrow? Quite simply, I will never ever dine at the Old Town Pour House again.
Service was on the mark, our server was super nice and took care of us well. 5 star on service. Food was ok nothing too fancy… ambience was more like sports bar.
Beer lovers would be very happy here! My husband really liked his fillet sliders and I thought the tuna in the ahi tuna salad wasn't very fresh and the salad was on the small side for a salad meant for a meal.
Table was being cleared by busboy while we were still at the table. There was no waiting line visable
Come for the Drinks, Stay for the Service.
Only restaurant in Crown Farm/Rio area that was willing to pre-book an outside table (everyone else first come, first served). Spacious balcony with full-coverage table umbrellas.
Food is "bar good." Kids enjoyed the hamburger sliders, and grown-ups enjoyed the Filet Mignon sliders and Fish Tacos. Server was extremely friendly, efficient, and brought drink refills without being asked. She was also really patient with the kids, which we appreciated. Overall, a good experience!
The outdoor patio, food, and service were wonderful and a great way to end the weekend.
Good location, very helpful that tables could be reserved and ready when you arrive
The server came by too frequently. We felt rushed. I was disappointed by my fish & chips. The coleslaw recipe changed and it tasted like rough chopped grocery store slaw. The Texas Mule was tasty.
I was not impressed with the service or our meals. Our server would disappear for long periods of time. It took at least 20 minutes until we could actually place out order. The meals came out before the appetizer and it took forever to get the check. We ordered the buffalo chicken appetizer which was quite tasty with big chunks of chicken. It as the best thing we had, even if it arrived after our meals. We had the ribs which weren't very tender but the marscapone creamed corn on the side was yummy. The fish and chips were okay. The pieces of fish were on the small side and covered in soggy batter. The fish itself was fine. I would go back for beer but not for a full meal.
The food is not great. I had fish tacos which were breaded. It would have been better if it was baked.
A friend and I went for Music Bingo. My only real complaint was that the sound system was bad or poorly controlled, with too much base/background noise, and not enough treble so you had trouble hearing the songs to complete the game. The game was fun, food was good, as well as the drinks and service. No complaints about the restaurant.
Euro cup final and you have one person behind the bar making drinks for a packed restaurant? I had to get up four times to have our sever come to us and take our orders. Every table at the restaurant had empty beer glasses...just terrible management. Coming back after the pandemic, you would expect them to be ready.
Most reservations were made ahead of time understandably since it was the Euro final and they should certainly have been prepared. Not sure if I'm ever going back.
Update the beer menu to reflect what is available. Other than that, it was great!!
They have a pretty good beer selection with more ciders and sours than most places. I got the rigatoni, which is pretty good, but really peppery & spicy. The sausage is really good.
Sarah K is a great server! Beer was great. Appetizers were great. Burger and pulled pork sammich were all great! I've been here many times at it never disappoints!
We’ve been here a number of times but yesterday wasn’t one of the better experiences. Slow service and watered down drinks. Missing utensils, water, and all of the basics.
Great sports bar, very good food, attentive service
It was wonderful to have lunch on the patio - with our dog! The staff was very accommodating - asked us if they could get him water and/or bowl. The food we ordered was delicious and very appealingly presented. The server was very polite and professional. She was still in training and under the supervision of another staff member, but both of them did a great job. Thank you!
I went there for a brunch with a friend. There was nobody there. I was thinking at first that I just happened to go there on a slow Saturday morning. Well, I think now I know why. The food was not that great. I had ordered a steak (medium) with eggs, and potatoes. My friend did the same thing. Both steaks were over overcooked and tough. Also there were persistent flies all around our restaurant and around our food, which, but of course, were a nuisance. Maybe at night that is a better place, but I don't think I would be going there for brunch. Like I wrote above, I know now why the place was empty. The food is not that great.
Disappointed they are still running a limited menu. Wait staff stretched thin as they are fully open but appear to be understaffed. Bar service slow., so beer was a bit warm. Kitchen service slow. Although they are running a limited menu, out of a couple items. Not great!
We went to Pour House last night with some friends. Our service over all was decent. There were a few basic things that our server forgot to bring us such as napkins, silverware and waters. We all got a few drinks which were very good, appetizers and entrees. There was a problem with my friends food. She ordered the ‘Sirloin Sliders’ which sounded really good, but the buns on the sliders were burnt. Also she ordered her sliders medium rare but they came out medium. Overall I would give the experience a 3&1/2 out of 5 stars. I have been to Pour House many times before, but I guess last night just wasn’t one of the better experiences.
Extremely slow service. Mediocre food and small portions and overpriced. Went for music bingo and that was disappointing too, host/dj sounded like a broken record.
Went for brunch on Sunday. It sounded SO good online! It had amazing beer selections and the food sounded great. We decided brunch because it's one of our favorite meals to try new places for. Coffee tasted burnt - no amount of sweetener or cream could help it. The beer came out warm and they only had about half of the selection available. The water tasted dirty and we never got refills, even after we asked. The cauliflower appetizer was drowning in oil and there was no flavor to it (though it was supposed to be spicy). The hash came out as potatoes and a few bite-sized pieces of meat and peppers while covered in oil. Not seasoned well at all. The egg white frittata was dry. I have never been able to get egg whites dry and I'm not sure how they accomplished that feat. There was no moisture left in it whatsoever. Said it had asparagus and veggies in it but there were none. The arugula on top was drenched in oil and there was a single bite of avocado. The goat cheese was melting and oily on top. No seasoning at all. I only took two bites before I stopped. The biscuit tasted like it was half-baked Bisquick mix. Not cheesy or seasoned. We were going to think about going back for dinner but after our experience, we will not. I am so sorry that I had such high hopes for this place when it turned out so bad. If I could give 0/5 stars I would.
Had a great time outdoor dining at the pour house. The booth seats outdoors were a little low for the table but aside from that everything was great. Excellent service food was delicious (Buffalo shrimp is an awesome appetizer!) and the cocktails were great. Perfect relaxing evening with some good people watching. Will be back.
Not the best experience I’ve had dining. It was my second time visiting Pour House & both times have been so-so. I think our reservation was during a shift change so the service was pretty inconsistent & weird. Food quality was just ok but our drinks were good, even though the beers I wanted to order weren’t on tap anymore (update your online menus!).
Yes thank you
we ate outside for Rock N Roll Brunch. It was enjoyable.
The service was phenomenal!
loved the food! the waiter was kinda there. I would go back!
