We ordered 3 beef burgers (2 no cheese and 1 with no bacon) and we got 3 chicken burgers. My young daughter was served a pint of coke and we were charged almost £5 for it.

The staff were quite abrupt & not that helpful. Some meals were fine, others lacked some extra flavours. As we staying in the village & we had planned on eating there again, but decided not to.

Food was expensive for what it was, service poor. One main meal didn't arrive after a 45min wait. They did then give one meal free. Nice setting and staff friendly but not very organised. I wouldn't rush back for food.

The old swan has lovely atmosphere -a proper pub -not big Menu not huge and is an all day menu -no specials as far as could see -we ate in restaurant in evening but in bar for lunch /maybe needs more vegetarian options Only comment -and this is to all or majority of pubs / restaurants etc the lighting makes reading menus v hard to read -I often use my torch

It was a disappointing gloomy restaurant. The main course was lacking in taste and my steak was very gristly. My desert was Eton mess which was a mass of cream with hardly any meringue and very little fruit. All in all, our meal fell far short of expectations.

Had the mothers day lunch which we really enjoyed Staff were lovely & accommodating from starters to deserts - was great and filling! Would definitely go back again

Easy booking. Lovely food very tasty. Great atmosphere and venue. Service could have been better as waiting staff did not know all the information about the Mother’s Day deal.
