The Old Stove Pub is a Hamptons Classic Steakhouse. Originally opened in 1967 as a Pub, then in 1969 The Old Stove Pub transformed into a Greek Restaurant and Steakhouse. The Old Stove Pub has been closed for several years and completed extensive renovations and restoration. The process took over a year to complete, while also keeping much of the original detail and charm. Re-opened in July of 2020, the Old Stove Pub is now considered one of the best restaurants in the Hamptons, not only for the food, but for our friendly and welcoming service.

We offer outdoor dining in our HUGE tent, front patio, dinner inside and a reduced capacity, and Bar Seating. There is TAKE OUT as well.

Food was excellent as always . Beautiful real fire burning in the bar area! Wound up sitting there for dinner due to our table wouldn’t be ready for awhile even though had a reservation. Bar stool not the most comfortable or sturdy if you’re staying for your meal.

A friend recommended that we try this restaurant where they enjoyed a great meal. We had an early bird Pub Style special dinner which was delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was excellent as well as was the ambiance d. We will definitely go back soon !

All (6) of our dinners were very tasty. The tuna tartar, onion soup, branzino, cauliflower, fries and scallops were all great. Only the shrimp dishes were a problem. Maybe freezer burn?

This time we brought friends with us, because our past experiences have been so wonderful. They loved it! The food was cooked to perfection and the owner was there, he was checking to make sure every table was happy. Looking forward to my next meal. This time I tried the onion soup and the chicken, both were delicious and my husband had the filet and his friend had the skirt steak all perfectly seasoned.

We were celebrating our 5th anniversary, and wanted something special. Old Stove Pub did not disappoint. The 40 oz Tomahawk steak for two was outstanding. And the sides were on point. Dessert was delicious- the cold fudge sundae and apple crumb cake. And our server was knowledgeable, friendly and let us just enjoy our night.

I’m going to the old stuff hub for about 35 years and have been to every iteration of this restaurant including the original. The prices were insane $105 for the Sagaponack steak for two that allowed each diner to have four slices it was so small. The rest of the menu was also expensive but within reason the food itself was just OK I do not recommend.

We have been to the OSP several times this summer and many other restaurants in the area,the Old Stove Pub is the best place by far. The food is delicious,service timely and attentive. My husband had the sagaponack steak and it was excellent, I had the most yummy salmon. And the sushi is out of this world good!!!

The food was amazing, we had truffle burrata with roasted peppers it was delicious. My husband had the filet mignon and I had the lamb chops. The quality of the meat was amazing,everything was cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The owner Joe came to our table to see how everything was. He was so nice and really cares about his food and customers. We had to wait a few minutes for our drinks and due to the delay they gave us a piece of homemade apple pie on them. The pie was amazing. We will be back as regulars! I love this restaurant!!!!!

We have finally gotten to Old Stove Pub Unfortunately we were sitting in the only make shift table for 2 under the tent that was amongst all large party tables . Our waitress of course was tied up with these larger parties so that was disappointing and service was just not acceptable for us. We would have preferred a normal setting outside or inside . However the food was very good We will try it again and hopefully get a better experience

This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The food is always fantastic and no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal! Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in the Hamptons.

So overpriced for so little. The food was fair at best. The skirt steak was $43 with a side of salad, no vegetable or fries and the steak was fair at best.

The ambiance was great. Quiet, cool and relaxing. We ordered the steak and shared it. It was so delicious. Melt in your mouth & very flavorful. The cauliflower béchamel was delicious. I refrained from licking the dish even though I wanted to. The creamed spinach was delightful, creamy and savory. The zucchini strings had a light crunch and the perfect amount of salt. I recommend them immensely. The yard area was great to take pictures in.

Amazing family night at the Old Stove Pub. The kids had lots of fun, they can’t wait to go back. The food was amazing, specially the sushi, high quality ingredients. The staff was very nice and helpful! We’ll be back!

I loved my experience at Old Stove, we had a table on Saturday night and we had to come back Sunday night for dinner. Food was amazing, we loved the vibe and the live music. We sat outside in the patio, had a few drinks and ordered the scallops and the skirt steak. I totally recommend the place!

Visiting this place was the best decision ever made. The host was so sweet and nice, everyone was so welcome. As for the food, it was great! I ordered skirt steak and shrimp cocktail. The food was delicious. Everything was on time We were served by a very friendly waitress. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so cozy, live music was great that I’ll definitely come again

Restaurant was clearly overcrowded and waited for 75 minutes for main course and it still didn’t arrive so we left. This is a nice place normally but too many covers post pandemic which leads to poor service.

Worst dining experience we've ever had in the Hamptons/. It took 90 minutes for our entrees to arrive and when they did they were truly horrible. The prawns were like rubber and the steak like leather. It was apparent that they had booked every table when the kitchen was not capable of accommodating that many guests. We will never return.

My husband and I ordered the tomahawk ribeye medium (he prefers medium rare but I won this one!) The ribeye came out precut off the bone and sliced into pieces. Not only was it rare but it was mostly thick white slimy fat. I had one small piece that was actually meat and my husband had two very very rare pieces. The person slicing it had to have seen that the meat was not cooked to order and that the cut was mostly fat. They still served it to us. Our server was very attentive at the beginning but didn’t return to check on us or we would have mentioned it.

My first time back in 4 years and it’s better than ever. The service and servers were gracious and efficient - a very varied menu for 3 adults and a fussy teenager who loved her sushi and sliders. The salmon was delicious and appetizers wonderful. Definitely will be back well before 4 more years.

Came to the Old Stove Pub on a busy Wednesday evening and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We were seated quickly in the outside area for our party of 6 and promptly greeted by our server who went through the menu with us including the “Pub Night Specials” and the sushi menu. We were given wine recommendations and our drinks arrived quickly. To eat we ordered the mussels, and calamari and sushi all on the Pub Menu. Excellent quality and price couldn’t be beaten. Our entrees were delicious- branzino, filet mignon, chicken, salmon and scallops. I tried everything and all the food was superb. Our first time at the Old Stove Pub and the excellent service, food and ambiance will certainly bring us back.

Arrived on time for 7:15 dinner resv. on Mon evening July 3rd, and sat outside on the patio. It was pleasant, quiet, although you could hear the traffic on 27. Server was also pleasant, seemed knowledgeable about their wines and brought our drinks and appetizers quickly. There were several empty tables at the time, so it wasn’t overwhelming for the kitchen. However, seated at 7:15, served drinks and appetizers in a timely manner, we were not served our entrees until almost 9:00!!! Everyone who arrived after us had their dinners. After many inquiries, we were finally told that the kitchen “ lost” our ticket…..WHAT?!?! Nowadays it’s all electronic so, c’mon, what is that?? Well at least the entrees were good enough— I had the ribs; my husband and son had the skirt steak. They comped our bar tab, but in my opinion, they should have comped the dinner—- that kind of error should not happen, and it messed up the rest of our evening plans. By the way, our son’s friends were also there and after half an hour of NO ONE even giving them a menu, they walked out. My 2 star rating is due to the ridiculous delay. I hope they get it together as it’s a nice, low key spot when you don’t want to be part of the usual Hampton dining scene!

We had a terrible experience at the old stove pub. Not only did they get our order completely wrong, the food came out after almost 2 hours and some of the members of our party did not ever get their meal. Rather than talk with us or keep us updated, the waiters refused the come by and we had to get up and walk to the back in order to get any sort of update. We were not the only ones with negative experience, as 5 tables in our vicinity got up and left before their food ever arrived. However, the food that did come was good, and I hope that they can do better in the future.

Food was good, server was very nice, but service was poor. Drinks and food were delivered in shifts . Drinks were delivered in two separate shifts, food in three separate shifts. Everyone was very pleasant, but didn’t seem to know what they were supposed to be doing, or how to do it when they found out. Overpriced for total dining experience

We used to love the Old Stove. The past three summers we dined here frequently because the food, service and laid back vibe were all great. Something has since changed. This year, based on two visits, I am sorry to say the food is not the quality it used to be. Both times, the simple cheeseburgers ordered were both overcooked. The Greek salad, always my favorite, tasted like it was sitting in a refrigerator for days and came to the table limp with mushy, tasteless tomatoes. One of our cocktails - a gin and tonic - was completely flat. It was returned and the new one served again was again completely flat. (???). All this said, the server was delightful and efficient. The manager drifted by and asked how things were and we told him. I really hope the kitchen gets it together.

I am soo sorry for you bad experience and I apologize. I did check in with you. We made you new drinks with a newly open bottle of tonic and you still complained. We server hundreds of great salads, all freshly made to order. I am not sure exactly what happened with your but it should not have happened. We all work very hard and make our best efforts to serve the community and we will continue to do so.
