   Asked for steak pie mash received what looked like a pukka pie with meat in it I wouldn’t feed to my dog also got chips instead of mash , the macaroni was very runny lacked flavour the brownie was very dry with the smallest scoop of ice cream , we witnessed a waiter use a cloth to wipe tables that he had picked up off the floor , had to ask twice for condiments just very unorganised & compared to what food was like few years ago it’s went downhill won’t be rushing back sorry

   Excellent, as always. It was the first time for one member of our party and she was very impressed. The Smiddy doesn’t disappoint when we want to eat out locally.

   The Old Smiddy is one of the best pubs in the Southside of Glasgow. It serves superb pub grub, the atmosphere is pleasant and the staff helpful and friendly. Highly recommended,
