Old Lady Gang
This was definitely one of the best parts of my trip to Atlanta. The food was amazing and the server (I think her name was Lindsay) was amazing. We enjoyed talking with her. I ordered the rib tips with mac and cheese, candies yams, and collard greens as sides. Would definitely visit this place again.
MY EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT FROM THE FOOD, TO THE SERVICE, TO THE DRINKS. THE WAITRESS WA ON POINT AND VERY MUCH TO THE POINT & ON TIME WITH EVERYTHING.
The food was cold not fresh, mac n cheese was old. Yams were not cooked all the way. I have never been to a restaurant this bad before. Will never go back or recommend anyone.
Enjoyed my first time there celebrating my Founders Day
We went to OLG as a get together and because none of us had been before and had heard to was a good place. Upon arrival there was nowhere to park on the street without a good walk and we didn’t want to pay to park in the restaurant parking lot. The inside was very small, I expected something larger. The music was way too loud to have decent conversation without yelling. The food was just okay, not at all worth the hype that it has been given.
The food was very good. I really liked the chicken and fried deviled eggs.
Food was great! Will come back! Highly recommend! I had the turkey greens, Mac & Cheese, and Chicken. Husband had Steak, Mac & Cheese, and mashed potatoes..
The service and food was great. Definitely going back soon.
I wasn’t crazy about the yams or collard greens but the macaroni and cheese was amazing as well as the fried chicken. We also tried the fried salmon which was delicious! Definitely would go back to try other dishes.
After making reservations a week in advance, we’re still stuck downstairs at the high top bar and a very noisy section
Very bad! From the time we arrived and up until asking for check after deciding no to eat dried and not cooked all the way food.
We must have came on a bad day. We had rib tips as an appetizer which very good. I had chicken Mac n cheese and greens. I did NOT enjoy the greens at all (taste like they were burnt) and had to send them back which is something I don’t normally good. They were replaced with yams which decent. My Mac n cheese was okay. It wasn’t cheesy through out. Finally, the chicken was very greasy and had an unfamiliar seasoning that my pallet didn’t quite like. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The ambience was nice. The location is not good due to the limited parking available...even in the lot.
The food was cold and salty. The decor was not the best. Not sure why a picture of her husband is in ladies restroom. Bartender was loud and found it necessary to vocalize her disdain about my order to the point that several sitting at bar turned to my table. The tables were close. Also, we had to pay $10 to park. D-
The food was not good!!! I was part of a large group and had a taste of pretty much everything on the menu. Nothing was fresh. Everything seemed heated to order. The hype is only due to the owner but the food was nothing to return for.
Everything was AMAZING from the food to the great customer service we received from a waitress by the name of Caroline. Caroline was very nice and attentive to everyone at my table. The only thing that was a tad bit bothersome was how small the place actually was; I felt like we were practically sitting on top of the group of people that were sitting behind us. With everything else being so great, I honestly overlooked that minor detail. I’m sure the size of the restaurant will expand in the future. Other than that, everything else was truly awesome...keep up the good work!
Everything was AMAZING! From the strong drinks to the great service! I love this place!
I really enjoyed the restaurant. I live in Alabama but was there in Atlanta due to reconstruction after my breast cancer surgery . I wanted to enjoy it with friends and I did. Kandi and Todd , Great Resturant
We throughly enjoyed this restaurant. It was a pre-concert dinner for us. Rarely can my husband and I both say every item we ordered was excellent. I had the salmon with green beans and mashed sweet potatoes. If I could make green beans like that I’d eat more veggies. The salmon was great and the sweet potatoes were just right. My husband had the ribeye with spinach and fries. The steak was super tender and well seasoned, no steak sauce needed. The spinach was awesome!! I seriously considered asking if I could ask the chef how he cooked his veggies. The finally was the banana pudding. OMGOODNESS, I don’t know what they did but it was phenomenal. I should’ve had that first because I was too full to each as much of it as I wanted. All in all, it was a great dinner. I’m glad this place isn’t close to me because I would pack on the pounds.
We had a party of 8 from Alabama and we were in ATL for the Justin Timberlake concert. I chose this location because I watch Real Housewives of ATL. The food was amazing. We all ordered different menu items and they were all delicious. The cocktails were delicious and definitely worth it. We were so lucky Aunt Nora was there and came over to our table and spoke with us. AND made our night by posing in a few photos with us. If you’re in ATL you must go!
Opentable made it super easy to make reservations.
Really fun, great service! Clean fast and accurate! Server was friendly and sweet
The food was great and delicious, the restaurant have great scenery and the chef in charge was present and we spoke to him he was nice. My party also meet the cook chef on duty he was great. But very pricey. But will come again because of the service, our server was Caroline she was very nice and pleasant. Thank you again Caroline
First thing I noticed, I didn’t smell food when I walked through the door which is odd for a spot that sells fried chicken. The fried chicken was pre-made, thus, the food came out in two minutes and the chicken was lukewarm and the grease hasd settled. Basically, the food was cooked early and sat under heat lamps for hours. The liquor selection is also limited. They didn’t have the ingredients to make a simple old-fashioned.
Our waitress GG was amazing and extremely quick with serving a group of 11. She was personable and knowledgeable with giving suggestions.
Food was excellent!!! Ambiance was great very personal to Kandi and family ... which was cool. Restaurant was smaller in person than it looks on person and on TV... wait staff was friendly and relatable. No wait once we arrived seated immediately because we made a reservation.
I would go back next time I’m in ATL
The service was horrible. There were 4 of us - one person ordered the fried chicken, 2 people ordered the shrimp and grits appetizer and a veggie side , and I ordered the salmon
The fried chicken dinner was brought first then the 2 shrimp and grits. My salmon dinner was not brought out until basically everyone else at the table was done eating
Then when the manager stopped by the table to ask how everything was , I told her what happened. She first apologized said it was not the ogl way. Then tried the blame in on the two appetizers that were ordered as main dishes. When the waiter clearly knew those were ordered for dinner
And that was it
Food was excellent. Staff was very friendly. Overall great experience. The fried deviled eggs were soooo good!
The food and staff was great this was my second time visiting this restaurant.
Martini was Awful the chicken was bone dry what's really disappointed
Our server JT was nice and attentive. Did well with recommendations and overall a very pleasant experience. I recommend the lamb chops!
Food was great, nice portion size, and the staff was nice. I am from Chicago and went to OLG during my visit to Atlanta. I truly enjoyed the food and the hospitality from Aunt Nora. She was so sweet and made us feel like we were at home. Service like that will make me continuously return to their restaurant.
Food was great!!! Seated as soon as we walked in. Server went over the entire menu. Would definitely be back
This environment and the food was awesome. I truly enjoyed the experience.
It was my 52 Birthday.. I made Reservations.. Initially my Sisters and I were seated downstairs.. I didn’t like it .. So I requested to be seated upstairs where the atmosphere was more lively & energetic. My 1st Visit
They accommodated my request with no problem.
I will visit again next time at the Campcreek Marketplace Location
I was so disappointed the food was not good at all! I had fried chicken macaroni and yams, the MAC was dry the yams was mushy and they were can sweet potatoes the chicken I didn’t like the flavor and they hot sauce had a nasty taste!! I’m sorry but I wouldn’t go back or even recommend any one to eat there!
Very good food! Wish seating was more comfortable though
First time but worth the wait. We all enjoyed our meal. The fried chicken and mac n cheese were delish. Will be back!!
The food was good but the service was HORRIBLE! It was my birthday so I was doing my very best not to get upset. My sisters food was cold and the lettuce on her burgers was brown her drink was incorrect and it took her 30 minutes to get a different drink, she then asked for ranch and it took 20 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge that she asked for it and then he came back and asked her if she wanted blue cheese. My mother’s food came out and there was plastic in her macaroni. The waiter then picked at the food to see it and then just took it away. No manager or anyone came to speak with us for the inconvenience. When she did come she was very unprofessional then she told my mom she would fix the food and then a kitchen staff came down yelling at the “manager” and telling her the kitchen was closed and my mom couldn’t get anymore food. She then stated she’s the “manager” and she can make it happen. So she came back with the food which was INCORRECT and she stated that the kitchen was closed and that’s all they had. (WHAAAAAT?!) at this point I was over everything I just wanted to leave. then when the checks were bought out they brought my mom a check with a $1 discount. Overall this whole team needs to go through an etiquette training because it was very unprofessional. I was highly disappointed.
This was our first time visiting & we were in Atlanta for our Anniversary, when I tell you the food was AMAZING...it was so good, we both had Aunt Bertha's Fried Chicken w/loaded smashed potatoes & Macaroni...OMG it was so delicious & that Banana Pudding...Jesus!!! The staff was great we had the best server ever & the drinks was well worth it...the only issue I have is what I'm sure you've heard before...the parking...I got a darn ticket, but honestly it was worth it!!! 😁
Food and service was good. I didn’t like paying $10 to park.
The parking situation is horrible! Limited street parking and $11 for a spot in a tight lot with one entrance/exit. Every food item was amazing, but not worth the heavy price. The service was marginal. Long wait for drink refills, and we could hear other servers offering items that were not on the menu.
