Highly recommend... great food, fun atmosphere. Only complaint is the space and the small overflow room where guests are asked to wait. Otherwise.. it was an awesome experience.

We all wanted to try OLG due to the hype. Reservations were always difficult to achieve on a Friday and Saturday. Our family from DC were going to be visiting and wanted to try it. We made the reservations in July for September. Parking is horrible, the seats were hard, tables to small and close together (this was downstairs). Food was ok, definitely did not live up to the hype. Our server however was great thank goodness. Overall we were very disappointed and will not be returning.

My buddies and I had a great time. We ordered the Fried Eggs which were uniquely awesome. We also all orders fried chicken and some extra sides and it was tasty. Server was friendly, however, just a bit slow. He forgot to order a couple of our items and there seemed to be a mix up of food in the kitchen but overall a good time.

Tables are too close which made it difficult for other patrons to move from their seat when exiting. Specifically, patrons butts or fronts were in your space.

Chef was heavy with the salt on the catfish and crabcakes were half cooked.

The chicken and French toast was delicious.

Went to this restaurant having to much expectation. First they charge $10 to park and their is free parking on street. Secondly their is almost no room for anyone to stand once in restaurant awaiting to be seated. The tables are close with barely enough room to get through with folding chairs that are hard. The waitress wear a different jean shirt with no uniform to it. As for menu it’s nothing there. You can’t get fried chicken without French toast and you can’t get fish without grits. Our table ordered lamp chops which came out as little lollipop lamb chops which had no taste to them, the mac&cheese taste sour and sweets weren’t sweet. The ribs were tough as can be and string beans had no flavor. It was as a total let down. Don’t waste your time! Not to mention none of Old Lady Gang was there and it’s too many pictures of Kandi and family. Do yourself a favor and go the Puff and Petals there food and decor is amazing.

Went to OLG with my sister and her husband visiting from out of town and it was a great experience. We were sat immediately. The food was amazing especially the Fried Deviled Eggs. The drinks are awesome...you only need one. Plus my waitress was great. I will be back again.

I have been waiting a year to be able to eat at this restaurant and it was definitely worth the wait. To top it off I got to meet Mamma Joyce and Aunt Nora! How cool is that? They were VERY down to earth and had no problems taking pics with us. We literally ordered just about everything on the menu so that we could have the full experience and there wasn't one thing we didn't like. I will definitely be eating there again.

Sadly, I must say the place is overrated...the wait staff were friendly, the proprietors were very engaging and friendly....BUT the food was not good...ordered the fried chicken, 1 of the 3 pieces of chicken was over cooked beyond recognition ....order fried devil eggs as appetizers....they didn’t arrive until the meal was almost over....the spinach was overly salty .....the Mac & cheese was good though.

My cousin was in town from Kansas City and I recently just moved to Atlanta myself so I really wanted to show her a good time and OLG did the job! This was both of our first time dining here and we love RHOA so we had high expections! Everything was great! My server was very kind, wish I could remember her name.. she was training someone and even the trainee was very suficant. We had the deep fried deviled eggs! OMG! So good! The chicken was good too! Next time I come though i May have something different. Living here in Atlanta all chicken just seems to taste the same to me now & days.. lol but everything else was great. I would have liked to see maybe a little bit more variety in the menu. But that could just be because I’m greedy. I could literally eat everything off that menu in one week! Lol the sides were superb! Taste like I was back at home with my aunts whipping it up in the kitchen! Speaking of aunts they were all so nice! Literally sat down and talked to my cousin for 10 mins! Made it feel like we were apart of the family! It literally made the whole experience! Very proud! Watched Kandi & Tod start it from the bottom and I loved it! Only thing I would suggest are maybe cushions on the chairs, at least where I was sitting.. we stayed for maybe about 2hrs and by the end of my stay my behind was hurtING. Not gone lie! Lol but I loved it! Sorry so long! But I will def be back! Great job!

The service was a bit slow but once I told the waiter that we were on our lunch break, he hoped to it. The fried deviled eggs were interesting. Not sure if I'll order them again, but the shrimp and grits was divine. It was a huge portion so I had leftovers, as well. I'll definitely go again.

OMG!!! This restaurant was great I told our waiters that it is rare that you get good food and good service all in the same visit. I picked this place for my retirement lunch so it was a mix crowd and they all really like everything that we ordered. I will be back and I have ALREADY TOLD MY FRIENDS. I really wish I could remember the ladies that waited on us. It was on Sept 18 at 1:00 pm one of the ladies was in training but you could not tell both of them were great. I also talk to the manager and told him the same thing. I will also post on yelp and travelocity. Thank you for making me proud!!! I live and work downtown so I make it my job to get people to come downtown.

The restaurant was nicely laid out. The food had mixed reviews the fish was great, the chicken tasted like it was cooked in old fish grease I couldn't eat it the taste of old oil was too overwhelming for my pallet. The greens were great, Kandied yams wow factor, green beans great, mac and cheese a little too dry. Not a place I would frequent but I would return with a group who wanted to experience this place at least once

Everything was great, really loved the food and ambiance. The wine I had (Riesling) was really good! I never had soul food before so this was a great introduction. The chicken was a little salty but not too much. I wish the seasoning was also under the skin to have some on the meat but over all I loved it. I will be back soon, never realized how close you all were.
