This was a very disappointing experience. Each person in our party except one had the fried chicken with greens and macaroni and cheese. All i have to say is that we each spent about 71.00 per couple with a drink and deviled egg appetizer, but when we left 80% of the food was still on our plate. I will not recommend and I will not return. This could have been just a bad day but I’m not willing to make another investment to try it again. Lastly the general manager was in the building chatting with staff at host desk but didn’t care enough to ch class with the guest to see how everything was. The best thing about this experience was the deviled eggs and Aunt Nora’s smile.
It was a nice experiment with my friends. Food was good.
The overall experience was average. I would have thought the menu would have been more selective. I thought that it would be more soul food....soul food consist of more than fried chicken. Olg step ya game up Mary Mac's any day over Olg I'm just being honest
I enjoyed myself. My husband and i came all the way Dallas, Texas celebrating our one year anniversary to eat here and we both left fat fat full. There was a small issue that happened downstairs where we were eating, and the waiters handled it very professional, and we also got our meal compted. Free meal or no i was still going to stay because im team Kandi all the way!!!
We decided to come here for my mother’s birthday because she had seen it on tv and wanted to go. The server was training so the service was already slow but we were completely neglected as he served everyone else but us and the other tables that came in after us got their food first. Our food came out lukewarm and the chicken was seasonless. My mother asked for potatoes and got Mac and cheese which she can’t have due to allergies. Overall not a pleasant experience and we will not be back.
Everything was nice....food was delicious except one complaint....no cornbread with our collard greens. We were told that it was not served until 5pm😔. We needed cornbread/muffins. There was a delivery during our visit while we were eating. Just a few things to watch for. I would come back!
My husband and I really enjoyed eating here for our Anniversary and will be returning again. I would recommend this place to family and friends....
We didn’t like that No sides came with a meal and restaurant seemed small but the bright concept helped
The food and cocktails were delicious. I will definitely be back.
My husband and I had reservations for 9:45 pm on Saturday February 17,2018. Being that we are from out of town we arrived a little after 9:00 because we didn’t know our way around Atlanta. We paid $10.00 for parking and went through the doors downstairs and no one was there to greet us. About 5 minutes went by and my husband told the young lady we had reservations for 9:45 she said ok and seated us anyway (early)..which was good. We sat down for about a good 15 minutes before anyone came over to take our order. Finally, someone came over and said she would be right with us and apologized. During the few minutes she was gone someone else came over to take our order. The waitstaff downstairs looked completely lost and confused. After finally taking our order it took another 25 minutes for our food to arrive. There were people who were seated after us and got their food first. The guy who bought us our food apologized for the confusion. Waitstaff/busboys took more breaks going back and forth outside then attending to customers. I have to say the food was really good but staff needs more training. Then I received a email from opentable stating that I never made it for my reservation.
The hostess was very rude which one party didn’t enjoy your stay and walked out. The chicken was salty. The server was kind and very helpful.
The food was the best we ever had, no lie, I really wish that the seating was more intimately. It was my wife Birthday and I was hoping for a table for two. In spite of that I will still eat there again. We pray that your business explode with success . I think we could eat there everyday.

The food and atmosphere were great, although we were seated in the overflow room. Only negative is the aluminum pipes along the ceiling by the restrooms! If I were a few inches taller I would have hit my head. PLEASE do something about that. Otherwise GREAT place and LOVE the fact Aunt Nora walked around greeting and taking pics with the guest!!👍🏾👍🏾And the drinks were niiiiccceeeee lol
My family and I were visiting from NC. And wanted some southern comfort food. We enjoyed our dinner and will recommend this restaurant to family and friends!
The food was, awesome! Aunt Nora was very friendly and welcoming. The,dining areas, were small, parking was limited unless you paid. The atmosphere was chaotic due to overflow. They need to expand so there is more room . My overall experience was good once,we got seated. The girl at the front door l, didn't get her name, but seem to be rude and kept telling me to hold on. Once Aunt Nora arrived, I quickly got seated.
