Old Lady Gang
Fri, Sat 12:00 pm–12:00 am
Excellent dining experience. Highly recommend!
First Time finally getting in here! This place is an awesome addition to Atlanta. The salmon sliders were delicious!
Paying $10 to self park is ridiculously high for the area. And, considering there is no valet or validation, seems unnecessary. OLG should validate patrons’ parking or at the very least offer valet parking for just $5.
The food was very tasteful and service extremely prompt. The atmosphere is pretty comfortable but cozy.
Not to sound too cliche, however, the “ Aunt Bertha’s Fried Chicken” was insane! I mean my mouth is literally watering all over just typing this review. Great place to visit, service was very professional and pleasant. Thanks guys! Highly Recommended!!!
I was very impressed. Everything was great, Devil eggs and banana pudding isvthe bomb.
The food wasn't the best. Shrimp and grits were OK. I did like the fried devil eggs. The service could be better. It took 10 minutes for a waitress to come to the table. Once she did, the first thing she asked was "No one came to the table? I'll be your waitress then".....OKKKK! I wouldn't really recommend this place to anyone. It was medicore and overrated. Purely nothing to brag about.
The good was pretty good for the price and the atmosphere was nice.
This place was very nice. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely visit again!
Everything was great. Service was excellent and food cane out quickly! I will definitely be back! Five Stars in my book!
Great atmosphere and our server was wonderful and very attentive! The food was delicious and reasonably priced!
Good food, good people!
I had the house salad topped with blackened salmon with balsamic vinaigrette and a side of Mac and cheese.
My husband had the beef rib tips with slaw and the sautéed spinach. We tasted each other’s selections and found each and every dish to be superb with unique flair and ever so tasty.
The quality was so good and so down home that although we were ever so full from the entree we had to experience dessert. Well my goodness, the peach cobbler bread pudding arrived warm and was absolute perfection. I’m writing this 8 hours later and I want to go back for more. The service was excellent and the staff from parking to exit were so pleasant and friendly. Moderately priced and well worth it for the outstanding cuisine.
Reservation is best, it is pack...!!! Parking is a challenge... Other than that, OLG restaurant is an experience that we will not soon forget. The food was amazing. The drinks (cocktails) was absolutely the best. Food presentation was appealing to the eyes. Our "servette" Camila did everything she could possibly do to grant us our every wish... she checked on us inspite of how crowded the place was at 10:00pm. We were not disappointed and you will mot either! Bev G.
Loved it! Drinks were good! Food was good! Atmosphere was pleasant! Our waiter was even good! We will be back! Nice spot!
Overall, the food was great. I loved the lamb chops and the corn bread was different but good. I will be back.
The service was fast and great, food was very tasty and prepared very well. My wife and I was celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary and decided to patronize a black owned restaurant. We loved every moment of it and will be back. Drove in from Birmingham, AL to have the experience.
The food is delicious and the price is reasonable nice ambiance
Good food, grrrreat service but certainly overpriced, 10 for deviled eggs, 15 for sliders, 20 for fried chicken
Being a fan of RHOA and having an upcoming trip to Atlanta, GA ( we are from NJ), I had to make reservations to eat at the Old Lady Gang!!! When we arrived, I saw Aunt Nora and she is so pleasant and sweet! She took a picture with me and was very genuinely warm and kind which really was a treat for me! After taking the photo with Aunt Nora, we ordered our food and was blown away with the fried deviled eggs followed by the shrimp and grits and my just had the lamb chops!!! Very delicious food!!!
Loved the staff and their personalities, food delivered quick and was very tasty. Our only issue was the size of the cornbread; was not enough.
I'm from Memphis, TN and I was so impressed. I had the lamb chops and they were simply to die for. I also tasted the mac and cheese from my friend's plate and I enjoyed it so much that I order some to go. Everyone was friendly and very nice about giving us info on things to do while in town. My only complaint was that I didn't get to see my favorite tv couple, Kandi and Todd but Aunt Nora made up for everything. She gave me a big hug and even stood at our table and talked for a while. Thanks for such a wonderful experience!
I couldn't wait to go there and eat had I known I would have been this disappointed. Made reservations no wait was good. Waitress was excellent. Then the food came it was awful . Everybody in my party complain about something. The manager came out like we did something wrong. This place is over rated. I do not recommend this place at all.
The food was good. I had the shrimp and grits. My boyfriend had the fried chicken. The only thing is that it is not a very spacious restaurant.
Savannah was a great server. She was patient and very nice! Food was really good especially the kandi yams were amazing!! We enjoyed it!
For starters, the restaurant did not have a wide selection of food choices. Second, two members of my party ordered white meat fried chicken; however, when the chicken arrived the outer part was burnt. My chicken wings were not thoroughly warmed (I encounter several areas of the chicken that were cold). The server told my group about the catfish strips; however, upon arrival to the table it was apparent that the catfish strips were most similar to nuggets than strips.
We were told the restaurant did not have to go cups.
My group flew in from Texas with the “Old Lady Gang” listed as number 1 on our to-do-list, but from my perspective this restaurant is overrated, overpriced, and perhaps the positive reviews may have more to do with the celebrity name associated with the establishment.
The experience left everyone in my group disappointed.
We experienced great service and tasty food treats. No complaints over here just smiles and great memories with lifetime friends.
Food was ok. The deviled eggs were different but tasty. Salmon was cooked well but the sweet potatoes and greens were just ok! The cornbread is mote the size of a crouton and just as hard. The drinks were GREAT the Georgia peach was the favorite for sure. We also had dessert and the cobbler was cold. Service was lacking as well didn’t even acknowledge the birthday guest. Not cool. Glad I tried it but I definitely don’t have to rush back
Aunt Nora was the best!!! She made our experience worth it. Our waitress got a few things wrong with our order. I had lamb it was scrumptious!! Ppl at my table had the white meat chicken it was seasoned perfect. We weren’t a fan of the catfish but it could be cause we never had it before. The yams need more seasoning, BUT i would def go back and back and back lol it was really a nice experience and all the food we had my even mentioned was good except the yams (i prob wouldn’t order them again)
Came down for the Bedroom Kandi Convention & had to make it here to eat....Our server was very friendly, my drink was great and my food was very, very tasty.....Fried Chicken, Loaded Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Greens & Mac n Cheese...Yum! Had the pleasure of meeting "Aunt Nora as well......she was so nice! I got a few hugs, converstion and a pic!!
Food was great! Every worker was very friendly and inviting
My family and I came in from Chicago for my 40th birthday. I wanted to support Kandi and Todd’s restaurant. I made our reservations online. Once we made it the greeter/hostess was incredibly nice. The atmosphere was nice and friendly. I was very impressed. As we were waiting to be seated and my husband parked the car Kandi’s aunt walked in and was kind enough to take a picture with my daughter and I she gave the best hugs. I wish I knew her name she has a great spirit. I never thought the events that happened later would transpire. After my husband parked the car he later told me it was $10 to park in the private lot which I find confusing I assumed it was their private lot. Anyway we were seated in the basement where it’s like night and day from upstairs. Once the hostess seated us a few moments passed then five then ten and all we got were funny looks as if we’d sat ourselves. We had two hungry toddlers my 80yr old mother in law, my sister and law, my husband and my teen. I eventually waved a server down and asked if anybody was going to help us. She acted shocked although she saw us when we were seated and was one of the people that just stared at us. Anyway she said she’d find out what was going on. She returned with a note pad and said our server had left for the day but she’d help us. She then walk away again because she’d forgot her pen. Our food was finally ordered it was tasty no complaints there. Afterwards I asked the server do they sing for birthdays and offer dessert. She laughed and said maybe next year when you come back. I laughed and said this is my milestone why would I wait until then. But apparently she was not playing because no one came over and sang and we were not offered desserts. Our bill was $200 which included gratuity. I still can’t believe the service we received it is just unacceptable. I would NOT recommend this place. Sorry Todd but you really dropped the ball with training the staff. You’re better off going to the Waffle House.
Amazing food .. Great staff.. Nice enviorment..... Had a great experience
We came from Washington DC for the PAW Convention. The food was awesome!!! My mom could not stop talking about the spinach!!! We all enjoyed our food and thay peach cobbler bread pudding!!!! Yeeees! On point! We are already planning to come back! Customer service was good, friendly atmosphere!!! Just Awesome!
Visiting from Miami. The hostess was nice, asked if I had a reservation, found my name tapped arrive. We were seated downstairs at table top across from the bar. The waitress was friendly and fast. I had the housewife drink it was so good & Rileys Shrimp and Grits was delicious and filling. I love how Kandi was creative with the menu adding her hubby & children's name. The decor is nice! It was cozy and family like. I will eat there again on my next Georgia trip.
Overall the food was good. I had a reservation and was seated immediately. The food took a long time to come out. I ordered an appetizer and that took 30 min to come out:(. After ordering my entrée, it took another 30 min to come out and the food was LUKE WARM both times. Overall the food was good however, you end up eating cold food after a few bites. I didn't want to send my food back because I was hungry and afraid it would take another 30min to correct it.
We were pleasantly greeted and were told they were happy to have us. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. We had a delicious appetizer of fried deviled eggs. Our food and service were great. Meeting Nora a bonus. She is a sweet genuine person that made the evening even more special
I have been here before when I visited Atlanta last year, I spoke highly of this restaurant and had my family join here. All of our food was cold the chicken taste like it had been sitting out and the greens were undercooked and the presentation was just sloppy all over the plate.. Never again!
We were in Atlanta for just a few days. This was a priority for us to visit....and I'm SO GLAD that we did! What an amazing experience! I had the shrimp and grits.......and it was a DELICIOUS PHENOMENON! So good! My son had the fried chicken, and I barely heard him talk while we were eating. My friend had the salmon. I tasted a piece, and had wished I could have eaten a plate of that, too. You won't be disappointed with this restaurant!
Old Lady Gang is a fun restaurant with lots of good choices. The crab cakes are fabulous!
Food is very tasty, but was lukewarm and came to our table in spurts.
