Wrong steaks for a guest, another overcooked. Wine selection excellent
Outstanding service and food. It’s our favorite steakhouse in Vegas.
Really appreciate the friendly service & allowing us to eat our wedding cake for dessert. Everything was first class & we will definitely frequent this restaurant whenever visiting Vegas.

I would definitely not reccomend this restaurant to anyone. The Foie Gras appetizer was one of the worst presented renditions of Fois Gras I have ever had. The waffle was soggy and the Fois Gras itself was ill prepared. Your team needs to be trained on how to properly handle and render it. My steak was flavorless but was at least cooked properly. Your potatoes au gratin were not even of quality a buffet would serve, for a $300 dinner it was an utter disappointment to say the least. If you want a good meal go anywhere, but Old Homestead
Service was not good, but it was Thanksgiving Day. Our reservations were 30 minutes late. Food was ok. Steak was over cooked. Seafood was great.
Someone please explain to me why & how our food took over an an hour to reach our table after ordering? We had a 7:15 pm reservation & was seated shortly after. We’ve been here before and had a phenomenal experience. Once our server showed up for drink orders, we placed our entire order. We didn’t order apps and our first dishes hit the table at 8:28pm. We were tempted to leave $20 for our drink & walk but Nobu didn’t have any openings until 9. Steak was great. Scampi was hard and overcoooked. We ate it anyway because I was starving.
From the champagne (Thanks to Ryan), to the excellent service we received from all the staff that atteneded to our table, the Thanks Giving Lobster Bisque (kidding but thanks to the lobsters), to the amazing bone in filets and ribeyes, we have a fantastic thanksgiving. The drinks were excellent, tasty and generous as well. Then came the desserts and the debate where to put every last delicious morsel. Thanks to Toshi and his crew for a wonderful night and our first Thanksgiving in Vegas.
We still had to wait 30 minutes after our reservation even though I checked in with the host 40 minutes before my reservation. Food was okay. Didn’t taste like anything special for the price we paid.

The food was fabulous. Be prepared for great service and a dinning experience you will not forget. The waiters will guide you through your selections and excise your expectations. All around you will be smiles and conversation of people enjoying themselves. All of this provides an atmosphere of enjoyment and great food.

I really had a good experience here. Steaks were great, service was great, it really exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend anyone to old homestead, and this is coming from someone who lives in Manhattan 10 minutes from the actual old homestead steakhouse in the meatpacking district.
The best wait staff. Food was awesome. Topping of our drinks and making sure we were taken care of.

This was our third time here and we enjoyed it every time. If you love steak like I do then this is where you want to go. Bone in ribeye cooked medium rare plus. Off the chain!!

Joe Villanueva took amazing care of us. His knowledge of the menu and what to order is what every gourmet food server should strive to provide to their guests. It felt like we had our own personal waiter in a vert busy restaurant. Your service was second to none. I like my steak medium well and I normally have to send it back but Joe made sure my steak was perfect Before it was served. Food was amazing. But the service was the best ever.
Never had this happen before: the appetizer of calamari was so off-putting, we decided not to risk spending another $300 on eating a dinner that might be equally poor. So we left. The tentacle portions of the squid were so poorly sliced that they were very difficult to chew because they were entirely too thick. The rest of the appetizer was overcooked (rubbery) and greasy. One look at the plate and it should never have reached the table at a restaurant charging these prices (I paid $28 for a dram of Scotch from a bottle that retails for $75) and wants to offer an upscale ambiance. To managements' credit, the appetizer was taken from the bill. However, from the one thing I ate -- and the fact it even reached the table -- I could not possibly recommend this restaurant.
Great place to unwind and relax in an old school way...large drinks large steaks. Living large at its finest.

Over hyped, over priced and over it. The music from the casino overwhelmed the restaurant and it was bad. The service started ok but then yanked towards the end.
Great steaks and sides. Waited at the bar for our table, staff was very attentive and mixed one of the best martinis that I had in Vegas. We will definitely go back. The name is deceiving, nothing "Old" about the place. Very upbeat and cool.
Quite crowded and tight seating so noisy. Service good, and food good - ungodly expensive (food, drinks, sides - everything). Aa I recall now, 10 oz filet (which was good) $62; half bottles of wine $70; martini $22. See menu on line for exact and current prices but not worth the money to me.

36 oz rib eye for two was 2 1/2 pounds of cow bone and about 10 oz of meat. Rip off.
The meats were so tender and juicy. We enjoyed the jumbo shrimp cocktai, oysters for appetizers. Filet minion with roasted mushrooms and gratin potatoes be sure to get the sauce flights! Excellent meal and wonderful service.
Wine, oysters and a great steak. What else do you really need to know? It is pricey but should be expected from a high end steak house. Between my wife and I, I dropped just North of $300 on dinner. I can easily lose that amount on a night of playing the craps table. If you can, give the Old Homestead a try. Highly recommended!!

Food is good but nothing special. You won’t go wrong but don’t be expected to be knocked off your socks either especially for the prices. I would say at the end of the day it is a solid average restaurant in terms of food and service. Seating is a bit uncomfortable and it’s very noisy.
every stay at Caesars involves a dinner at Homestead. Best 16 oz Ribeye steak on the strip! Recommend the Wedge Salad and the Baked potato as well. If you are a fish eater the Calamari appetizer is excellent.
