Old Glory Kitchen + Spirits
Reservations accepted for parties of 5 or more. All other parties are welcome and will be sat on a first come first serve basis. Thank you!
Service and appetizers was great, disappointed with main seating. No a/c just ceiling fans. It was a Saturday night,it was packed and very hot. Most of us took our main dishes home as it too hot out to eat. Drinks were warm and created a uncomfortable atmosphere as most of us was sweating and could not wait to get out of there.May try again in cooler weather.
We enjoyed Old Glory. Service was a bit off due to a Thunderstorm which had the staff hustling to move people inside - they let us know and while not the best service, it was delivered with smile and good nature which goes a long way. We love the wings and the burgers - only criticism on the burgers would be on the roll - heat them up - a cold roll with a good burger is beat. We'll be back.
Love this place. We bring everyone we know here. Great pizza!
This was the perfect place for myself, my husband, and the three other couples we went out with. They wanted to go to a casual bar/restaurant with outdoor seating and music, which is exactly what this place is. I honestly did not know what to expect, but we were all pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is new and cool looking with an Americana theme, plenty of outdoor tables and a bar, and a very nice size upstairs area, but unfortunately it was closed off for a private event. The service was on point, and the food was varied and very tasty. At first, the live music was a bit odd; it seemed to be an amateur night with young kids singing, playing keyboard, etc, which isn't really great for a Saturday night in my opinion. Later on, a DJ came on and played a great mix of 80's, 90's and 2000's which we all got down to. No complaints, and I would definitely come back for either a date night or a night out with my kids, parents, etc.
Service, food, and ambiance were all fantastic.
Great place to bring the kids. The menu has something for everyone. Our kids like the pizza and the meatball appetizer the best. The pizzas are good and the sandwiches as well. Meatloaf Sandwich is a personal favorite. Beer list is good but not at the level of some other bars focused on craft beers. Service has always been on point. Management is on top of things.
Only issue is I wish a better system when ordering pizza. We ordered three individual pies and they came out at different times. Rest of table were waiting to eat.
We were a large party (10 people), and the place was busy but, even making allowances for that, the service was very, very, poor and we had to repeat requests for drinks before receiving them. One of our party ordered soup as an entree and, after everyone else had received their food (burgers, ribs, steak & shrimp, etc. ), and the soup had still not arrived, we again requested they bring it. Eventually, everyone started on their food (still no soup) and we again asked about it. Most of our party had finished their entrees when the soup finally arrived. I mentioned to the waitress that we shouldn't have to pay for it, given the poor service, and got the laughing response, "Oh, you'll pay for it!" I still tipped 20%, as we don't dine out looking for freebies, but the attitude, coupled with the service, was very disappointing.
The food was good, as always. Huge timing issue with food from the pizza oven versus food from the kitchen. We waited 15 minutes while those with pizza and wings already had their food. The wings are a must. The manager was gracious and apologetic for the backlog in the kitchen.
My children and their families (young children) took me there for a Mother's Day early dinner, but we went the day before (on Saturday). My brother, who lives about a half hour north, had stopped there in between my son's wedding and reception for some appetizers and drinks and raved about it, so that's how we decided to try it. We absolutely loved the place. The atmosphere is awesome, the restaurant is beautiful and the service (our server was Capri) was amazing. The owners checked in with us a few times to make sure we were having a good time. We will definitely be going back soon and often. I'd like to try the outdoor seating next time, which is beautiful. There's a fire pit outside with seating to wait for your table or just to relax. I live about five minutes away and never knew this gem of a restaurant/bar was practically around the corner. I think I've found my new favorite place! We were a party of four adults and two children. Everyone had something different and everyone had great thing to say about their meals. We all totally recommend Old Glory to anyone and everyone.
Only giving this 4 stars due 30 plus minute wait despite having reservations. Place was great though, and was redeemed with the two complimentary appetizers. Awesome move. Food was very good, service was great, the building is amazing. Well done Old Glory. Everyone left happy and we will return. Looking forward to it :)
Service excellent. Food was delicious. Will return.
Went this time for a birthday celebration and couldn’t be happier. The servers were attentive and it just so happened to be Wing and Wine Wednesday so half price wings and bottles of wine. Will definitely be back on a Wednesday if they keep this special going.
My wife and I went for the first time to try their Restaurant Week menu. Michael was an excellent server and the food was great, especially the wings and short ribs. Will definitely go back as well as recommend to our friends.
Such a great place with an incredible staff, delicious food and drinks!
Good food, good service
We have gone to Old Glory a fee times and have had excellent food each time. Good beer choices and nice atmosphere too.
My husband and I enjoyed a nice Valentine's Day dinner. I was given a single rose when we arrived and our meal was ended with complimentary chocolate covered strawberries and champagne. My husband had the catfish and I had the meatloaf sandwich. Both meals were delicious. The service was excellent. We were also happy with the new tables and chairs. Much more private and comfortable for people with back pain. Thanks for a nice night out.
The food took a long time to come out and came out staggered, as if the kitchen was overwhelmed. But, everything was good.
I had the chicken cutlet with roasted peppers it was delicious. The meatballs were great and my husband had the bison bacon burger - he said it was very lean. Drinks were good we will be back especially in the summer.
Unique dinning experience that is able to easily accept big parties. Acoustics of the old church can make it a little loud. New menu they put in place 4-5 months ago is an improvement and should have something for everyone. Meatball appetizer is excellent and all the pizzas are good. Salads are decent. Beer list is pretty good with local Kane and Carton beer available. Recommended!
We are there once a week love The food . We were celebrating my husbands birthday with family unfortunately it was so loud we couldn’t carry on a conversation. Felt like we were being rushed since people were waiting. Will definitely go back but maybe just for a quick bite
Family friendly! Food was delicious!
Great Food! Awesome staff! I am personally not a drinker, but had a nice bar & outside patio seating. Have to go back to try more of the food. Had the Grilled Chicken sandwich, Bison Burger, French Dip & the Cheeseburger eggrolls are great.
Good food, terrible service. After making a reservation on open table, there really was no need. The place was not busy on a Saturday night. It all started with a warm coors lite. We sat outside and they seated us at a table that was too small for 4 people, so small my friend had to put his plate on his lap while eating pizza. Inexperienced young wait staff. Waitress Allie took our order., came back
Once during entire meal. The person who delivered my clam
Appetizer spilled the broth on my husband and me. If I have to suggest you clear plates from The table, maybe you're not cut out for this job. Tag team wait staff doesn't always work, especially in this case. Fried Calamari good meatballs good. We won't be back though because there are plenty of places to go that have good food and good service.
It was one of the best meals that I have eaten in a long time
Very casual. Nice bar food and good drinks. Friendly staff and management.
WAS QUITE ENJOYABLE. I HAD THE MEATBALL APP, DELISH!. MEAT LOAF EXCELLENT. BEER CHOICES SOLID. LIKED THE ATMOSPHERE AND AMBIENANCE. WILL GO BACK ON WARMER DAY FOR OUTDOOR SEATING. QUICK SERVICE, STAFF ON TOP OF THEIR GAME. WAS TEMPERATURE COOL EVENING, WE SAT NEAR DOOR BY KITCHEN, WAS DRAFTY. ENERGETIC CROWD INSIDE, BUT DID NOT HAVE TO SHOUT DURING CONVERSATION WITH FRIENDS. I WILL BE BACK AGAIN!!!
I will give this restaurant one more try. The food was good, the restaurant is extremely cool and well cared for. However, our waiter was forgetful, slow, inattentive and though we gave him every opportunity , he was not apologetic. When we return, I will ensure we do not have same waiter upstairs or bus boy that walked passed our dirty dishes 10+ times.
Loved our experience here! Perfect place for a Saturday outing after a long week! The pizza is delicious & I loved the atmosphere!
Excellent food and service . Will definitely be returning!
Great selection of beers! The pizza is very good, but you won't go wrong with anything else on the menu!
I would recommend this place only on the hopes it will find its footing again. I thought it had a great start and I know the owners worked hard to get it rolling. However, the quality of the food and the service has been eroding with my past several visits. I would really like them to succeed but they need to step up.
It's a local favorite bar/restaurant. It's an old church that was converted to a restaurant. Very little of the old church remains. It has about 70 beers to choose from. Make a reservation, happy hour is popular.
Fatty meat on the French dip, cheeseburger egg rolls were a step below fast food restaurant offerings, buffalo wings were dry and overcooked and came with minimal amount of blue cheese dressing sparingly drizzled over them (took them home to eat later but ended up throwing them out). We hated the seating arrangement-be prepared to be seated at common family style tables with complete strangers. Service was friendly and accommodating.
We were seated 40 minutes after our reservation time without an apology. Our waiter was very absent and never asked if we wanted additional drinks. The food was ok, the wings were burnt. It was disappointing honestly because the place is adorable.
Really loud music on Wednesdays.
Too loud to have conversations.
Only one server was working and trying to cover a room full of tables and people. we spent the evening waiting on service and drinks.
Good food. Be ready to make new friends...seating is family style even if it isn’t your family.
Outstanding ambience ! Food and staff was terrific ! Had a great experience ! Will def be back
New restaurant in town. Very cool place in an old church with great atmosphere. The service was great, everything on time and very pleasant. The food was not good. The chicken Milanese was dry which could have been helped with some of the balsamic on the chicken. The shrimp Kabobs themselves were good but they were laying in a wet mess of white rice. The sauce was supposed to be a lemon sauce but it was like soup in the plate. This may be a better place for Brick Oven Pizza and sandwiches.
